Pros: "The crew was friendly but because of 5 flight delays we missed our connections in Amsterdam and got stuck in Houston for the night."
Cons: "The crew was friendly but because of 5 flight delays we missed our connection to Amsterdam and got stuck in Houston for the night. Because of this we were forced to pay for a hotel in Houston. I believe that we should have received some type of voucher for the huge inconvenience and waste of money"

Cons: "The United leg SFO-EWR was 3 jours delayed so we called SAS which changed us to an Icelandair flight. But at that flight they say we never had seats. By then SAS has closed and won’t help us. Also, we find out from United agent that SAS wrecked our booking so no one can help us. Worse than worthless"

Cons: "Sat on tarmac in United plane at destination (Denver) from 2:40 pm to 3:35 pm. Waiting on a gate to unload...just long enough to miss my 3:30 pm United connecting flight. Why couldn’t United have delayed the connecting flight a few minutes knowing we were sitting in another of their planes just a few feet away?"

Pros: "Multiple passengers were assigned the same seats so we had to do some shuffling once everyone had boarded. There were however enough seats for everyone."

Cons: "UA plane stayed a long time on O'Hare tarmac waiting for takeoff to LA. Then parking at gate in LA took a long time. The result was I missed my UA connection to SFO. UA put me in the next LA-SFO flight."

Cons: "3 delays, but United refused to cancel the flight which would allow the passengers to rebook. Pilots were dismissed and we were given vouchers to the worst motel that I have EVER stayed in. Since I had to be in Washington the next morning, I purchased a $600 ticket online after the gate agent told all of the passengers that United could not get them to D.C. until the next evening. To top it off, they used the same plane with mechanical problems the next morning, which caused further delays. Terrible and costly."

Pros: "The cabin crew themselves were great. The pilots offered my child to go see the cabin and everyone on the actual plane was great."
Cons: "The United employees at check in kiosk were very unorganized and unhelpful. I was traveling internationally with a small child and had two pieces of luggage to check in. Normally you just go to the counter once and they do everything including taking your luggage once they weigh it. Instead, I had to go to the self check in kiosk, then back to the counter to weigh my luggage, take off the one luggage from the scale, weigh the second one, then go back to the self check in kiosk, then was told to take off the second luggage as well, then finally went to a second counter where the lady handwritten my luggage tags and then was told to take both pieces of luggage and put them somewhere else altogether with specific directions on where to put them. This is something normally handled by the actual employees. Also, the check in dude yelled at my kid for putting in his name into the check in kiosk while we were waiting on the check in dude to do all those unorganized activities. He claimed it would break the software if my kid were to enter his name. I have told him that no, the software will not break if my child enters in his name."

Cons: "The seats were hardest, most uncomfortable airline seats yet. No padding whatso ever. They now have 4 boarding classes plus the 'special' folks. If you drag your bag to the gate , which slows down boarding, you get it checked for free, if you check it yourself at the counter you get to pay 25$ ... Since older people generally do not want to be carrying luggage up the 'stairs and through the Chicago airport', it means they get to pay extra! I think it is age discrimination that all the airlines are doing. Only the young can fly the cheapest."

No fast Kioskos and many people standing around 6 to be exact not helping and just standing so people don't go into another airlines lines. Useless"

Cons: "Passengers were boarding the air craft with multiple carry on bags which filled the overhead cargo after 2 groups. Groups 3 4 and 5 had to check their bags."

Cons: "Flight was delayed with little communication or reassurance. When I had to rebook my connection, the counter was woefully understaffed and they were not equipped with new enough computers to quickly address my problem."

Pros: "Food and drinks were great - even had three choices in Economy. Staff was great and attentive and seats were comfortable. Other than the screen problem mentioned everything else was great."
Cons: "The display screen was not calibrated, so if you pressed a button the button two buttons over would activate. This meant I could not watch movies or hear audio because those buttons didn't work. The staff rebooted the virtual Linux server for that seat, but this had no effect on the uncalibrated screen."

Cons: "The seats on United were very packed and for any person larger or taller than 5 foot 5, there was not as much leg room as is usually advertised by United."
