On time boarding. However we had about an hour departure delay due to de-ice of the plane due to ice storm which just started but I am not complaining about that. I would rather the plane was completely safe for departure.
We have to gate check roller bags due to size of plane. Also, little or no knee room. My knees were pressed into the seat back in front of me.
Seat back in front of us broke. So my partner and I had to move to other seats during landing.
There was an excellent selection of movies to choose from. The seats were pretty nice and clean and modern. A power outlet at every seat, and not just USB.
Flight was delayed due to paperwork and some people were racing to their connecting flights. Lots of turbulence. The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!
The A319 outfitted in this way is to freaking tight!!! There is not even close to enough leg room for an average sized American male. I'm no taller than six foot and not overweight. You must fix this issue. I will look for other carriers whenever possible.
