The flight was an hour and 5 min long and if you don't like to feel turbulence this is not the type of plane you want to take but you don't have a choice since sukhothai airport is only one runway. Other than that it was a good flight."

I couldn't comment on entertainment was the flight was so short. The crew was very polite, friendly and efficient. They were as good as any business class service crew."
Cons: "Another surprise was the excess weight of my luggage. I did get the warning about 20kg limit on this flight on the itinerary, but I hadn't paid much attention to it. I travel internationally quite often and know that 40 or 50kg is the norm. I was charged $8 /kg for 24kg overweight. This end up costing twice as much as the round trip flight. Now, I have to pay similar amount on the return flight. I take photographs from the airplane and found the window to be scratched."

There was no vegetarian food option, blink and you missed the drink service, the plane was quite old stock but comfortable enough. Boarding wad a little confusing - multiple flights called to the same gate at the same time and not particularly good signage about what do when you got there. Having said that, the staff were be mentally polite and tried to be helpful and that they attempted any kind of service on the 40min flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap was laudable. Still better than some experiences I've had on Ryanair or Eurowings in Europe."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that in the event of a 'catastrophic in air event', the fact that I have my headphones on isn't going to make a damn difference. I’m leaving in Japan, and my Honduras passport do not requires a visa to enter to Japan and they were keeping taking picture to my whole passport. Shame on them."

Worst part, we were told by the airline's team in Siem Reap that this is a common occurrence on that flight! Will never fly Vietnam Airlines again."

Cons: "The company knew that there were going to be a delay and gave everyone notices 3 days before due to machanical issues (which wasn't true becaused I overheard the captain talking about a scheduling problem that the company knew for days and didn't fix while we waited for transportation). My group was given a 2hr delay notice by email. Once we got to the airport and checked in the plane was further delayed. It was the last flight of the day. What was originally 7pm flight turned in a 1230am flight, 5.5HR delay. Arrived into Siem Reap airport at 130am, which was pretty much closed. Hotel tax and regular taxi/tuktuk didn't come out at this time. We were stranded at airport and was at the mercy of overpriced hustlers who charged 3x the normal price for a riding into town. They charged $10/person and put as many people into a car/van as possible. Are vanpool had 9 people, $90 for the van in total. The airline should have arranged transportation for us to correct the situation. The hustlers didn't give receipt, this we cannot make any claims. VERY DISAPPOINTED AT CAMBODIA AIRLINES!!!!!!!!!"

The airline drove another group for a different flight to their gate but the 14 passengers on our connecting flight were left on our own to run to the gate, only to watch the plane pulling away as we ran up. The airline service desk was unapologetic and did very little to help. Since my son and I had already used our one time entry visa into Vietnam, we were not able to join the rest of the group at a local hotel. We instead had to purchase additional tickets for a 1am red-eye. Our wait in the area outside passport control had no food or water and even though we asked they would not bring us anything to eat during the 7 hours we had to wait to get our boarding passes for the red eye."

I was scared once I had boarded. The condition of the plane is poor. Overhead bends were duct tape to stop from open during flight. The list goes on. Thank God it was a short flight."

But he used to covered himself. With these kind of treatments and attitudes, one day you will get beat by your competitors. I know you are arrogant right now. But as Vietnam continues to thrives in tourism. There will be better airlines coming and will provide better services. Even the airport in Ho Chi Minh City is horrible. Cambodia airport have amazing lounge and services. I love Vietnam. But your AIRLINES ruined the experience."

I ended up having to book a totally different ticket with another airlines (of course). First and last time I will ever attempt to fly with Vietnam Airlines."

They wrongly denied boarding to one of the passengers, claiming he needed a visa that he did not need (as confirmed by Vietnam Airlines transit counter later in Ho Chi Minh city and by the Vietnamese Consulate. This resulted in us buying a brand new ticket for later time and applying for a visa, given there was no ground staff from Vietnam airlines who could help."

Cons: "It’s frustrating that there is ONLY the ability to pay for food/drinks on board and ONLY in cash. It’d be nice if there were at least some free drinks. During my flight to Bangkok I was so sick and needed some soda to settle my stomach. My husband and I didn’t have enough cash and were told cards were not accepted. They refused to give us anything which I thought was cold hearted as I was vomiting and very uncomfortable. Also, the policy to shut down all electronics for take off and landing is so silly. I’m an anxious flyer and I was not told on some air Asia flights to shut it off. Couldn’t understand why the same airline would force me to shut it off on my flight out of Bangkok."

Cons: "Minus: On my flight from Bangkok to Siem Reap today, the seat in front of mine was broken and the seat back would not stay upright. The man in it asked for a new seat, and the FA first told him that it was okay, despite his head being in my lap. Both of us said that was dangerous, and only after arguing with three FAs was he finally able to change seats!"

Cons: "Airasia is a budget carrier which will nickel and dime you. Carrie-on lugguage is very restrict on weight. The regular seat have little legroom. So it won’t be comfortable to anyone with size. Which leave leaves you with their HOT SEAT option. Even on international flight everything is al la carte, no free soft drinks. The price of checked lugguage can increase if not purchased at the time of booking. If you can jump though their hoops maybe no issue for you."

After reading the confirmation email also saw nothing about it, only some ambiguous message about checking with the airline. THIS IS IMPORTANT! WHY WOULD YOU NOT MENTION IT AT SOME POINT. If I need to go to the airline to "check" that YOU didn't forget to tell me something then what the hell is the point of using your service?! I had to pay 144 dollars, more than a single ticket!"

Second, even though airlines like Qantas have shown that there is no reason to turn electronic devices off before, during and after flights, AirAsia won't even allow you to have your device in flight mode. So backward! Also, you'll find that their website is not easy to deal with and they will nickel-and-dime you for everything."

Cons: "There were many additional charges for luggages. The most annoying thing for me is their seat assignments. For couples who bought tickets together, seats were assigned at different locations even though the flights were not full. This happened on all four flight segments for us. And it was not just to us. It happened to many other people on our flights. When I asked at the check-in counter at Singapore airport to change the seat assignments, the agent lied to me that there are no other seats available. In reality, there were many empty seats on all our flight segments."
Pros: "We had a good flight on Air Asia. We were able to do online check in a week early, which was good for our trip and return and being able to print boarding passes before we left. Everything was smooth, but we didn't check any bags. The only food on the flight was for purchase, but it's such a short flight, it's not a problem."

Cons: "I did not use the flight because I accidentally purchased the flight going the wrong direction. Immediately upon pressing the purchase button I realized my mistake and attempted to fix it only to find out that even though I purchased through Kayak, Air Asia would be responsible for all customer service. Upon finally getting a hold of them after several hours of frustration I was told that not only was there no way to cancel it, I could not even use the price paid as a credit for the opposite route regardless of the fact that I was attempting to rectify this seconds after purchasing. I expected to be using Kayak as a point of customer service and was the only reason I went the route I did to purchase the ticket."

Cons: "A woman checked us in at DMK, flying to Phuket. She was poor at customer service and very unfriendly. I asked to borrow a scissor to cut a tie strap so that I can adjust the weight of my bags. Knowing it's a waste of her time she hid the scissor underneath a piece of paper and answered me that she didn't have one. I pointed it to her, she claimed that it wasn't hers. Long story short, I demanded another agent for help."
Pros: "Getting on board plane."
Cons: "There was a 40 minute delay. No information for other passengers for flight after us. So hence chaos for our flight."
