She said that the only reason I found room was because, by volunteering to check my bag, I was allowed early boarding. I corrected her by telling her that, no, I boarded early because I paid US$45 for an Extra Space seat. She made a face gesture and rolled her eyes. Very childish and unprofessional. She also seemed to have trouble reading the instructions clearly."

Delta's first class is really first class - it's more than just a bigger seat .... the staff from the counter to the cabin crew all treat you like you're a valued first class customer. The experience of flying today is mostly like being shoved into a subway train in Japan with no genuine gratitude for my patronage. Not with Delta - they really do go above and beyond and it is not lost on me."

While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Unlike United, which uses gates to separate Boarding Groups, American just leaves it to be a free-for-all that actually slows down the process and frustrates customers before anyone has boarded."

Followed by long customer service lines and "sorry buts" to flat out lying from gate attendants and stewardesses. I know most of the airlines do it but now that you are making a profit I think it's time to give back to the customer when weather complicates their travel. But most of all, please just give us the decency of the truth -- it sucks-- but we can handle it. Yes there will always be those out of control customers that scream and yell, but most of us, as what I witnessed-when it all breaks down--are chill and understand. Complimentary drinks. Coupons for a later flight. All hands on deck with crazy knowledge of the routes you fly to ease rebooking. I realize we as a people can't stop flying, whether it be for work or family needs, but you can't keep treating us like stupid cattle. Thank you whoever reads this for letting me express my frustration and thank you AA ultimately for getting me to my destination."

Pros: "From start to finish the flight faced problems: unscheduled stop for refueling, change in planes for mechanical problems, emergency medical intervention, and more. Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

Instead they wait till the last minute costing us valuable time. In the future, they should pay us the 25 dollar bag fee when they arbitrarily make this decision."

My boyfriend had ice spilled on his lap and the beverage cart was bumped into his shoulder and knee three times. There was a passenger that was annoying to us as well as to the crew. She kept getting up and standing in the aisle. She brought food on board that smelled like spoiled cabbage. This same passenger walked to the back where the food and beverages were to serve herself water. Once seen, the flight attendant told her to go back to her seat. My boyfriend's television controller didn't work and he had to use mines. He sat in his seat and had to watch a movie that was in front of my seat. Overall, it was a rough start to his birthday celebration."

Cons: "Plane was delayed by 5 and a half hours due to a storm. Something Frontier had no control over. What they did have control over, however, was their communication, which was non-existent. People at the gate wouldn't tell passengers anything, and responded to questions with "I don't know." When one woman complained about the lack of communication, a Frontier worker told her dismissively that she could call the manager. We kept learning about the flight delays by watching the status board. The front gate workers wouldn't say anything, and most people were too worried about missing the flight to run and get something to eat."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours, without notice or explanation for most of that time - even though it was a foregone conclusion, because a replacement aircraft had to be flown from CA to FL for maintenance reasons. Then, the counter personnel were arrogant and offensive in dealing with disappointed passengers (who would not be arriving at their destination until 2 am). Frontier is absolutely the worst airline I have dealt with in the past several years, and I am not likely to ever book a flight on Frontier again - especially since the hidden fees tend to make the ultimate price nearly the same as other airlines."

A longer trip I definitely would pay for comfort and amenities. The crew was pleasant and the plane was clean."
