Cons: "I did not like arriving for my 4:50 PM EST flight at 4:10 PM EST and being told there is no way I can make my flight. The crew at CVG’s Delta desk is incredibly uninspiring and not helpful at all. A lot can be done in 40 minutes and they made little to no effort helping me make my flight or to get me on another flight on 6/13 that would get me home to Colorado Springs the same day."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

Cons: "I never received anything about my booking. I went the airport Wednesday morning not knowing if I’d actually fly out. I only had on my Kayak app a trip itinerary. Thankfully I did. In Atlanta I added my Skymiles # to my trip. Upon arrival in Mexico I rec’d a push from Delta about my trip with my Record Locator. Flying home was to depart at 8am. When I rec’d my boarding pass it stated 8:55am. While waiting at my gate Delta sent me a text at 7:30am that my flight would be leaving at 8am. That confused me. Needless to say I was suppose to arrive CVG at 3:49pm, but instead was booked on a flight departing Atlanta at 4:30pm. Plans at home had to changed for Friday evening as I was not arriving at mid-afternoon. Needless to say I’ll probably not book thru Kayak anymore."

Cons: "Somewhere somehow you need to know that, although partners, Delta and West Jet do not share computer systems and that they are two completely different airlines. This affects ,sometimes, how luggage is handled especially when you land in another country and you have to manually transfer your own - and nobody tells you. You actually change airlines. Itinerary implies West Jet controls the entire thing. Not the case. Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately."

Pros: "I got a good seat from LA to GTA on 1st jan. it was in the front and spacious and I was also served food."

Cons: "Enhanced security procedures are onerous and caused the flight to be delayed 20+ minutes. Too many TSA staff at PLN doing too many things horribly inefficiently. Extra precautions (testing a Ziploc bag of cookies and several chocolate bars for explosive materials) did not make me feel safer or less inconvenienced by the theatrics of security."

Poor coordination between Delta & Jet Airways - the meal preference was selected before flight at the Jet Airways website but the same didn't get registered properly, even though the website confirmed to me that it was all set. This resulted in appropriate food not being available to the customer on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam. The customer had to literally starve on the flight. 3. The pursers and stewards on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam weren't pleasant and courteous at all. For anything they were asked, their responses ."

The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Cons: "Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually."

Pros: "Had a horrible experience on another airline the night before. Got this free that flight and booked with Lufthansa a few hours before take off. We were not sure what to expect but we’re pleasantly surpirsed with the entire experience. Definitely would recommend."

Leg room on small airplanes was good in economy, but not as good on larger jet to USA. The servers offered me ice in my water bc I am American. I appreciated that so much since I'd spent the last 12 days in Europe where no one serves with ice!"

Cons: "The plane was older 747-400 but that is no excuse for the layers of dirt or dust on the air vents and ceilings. I actually took a photos and will be forwarding to Lufthansa. The couple in front of us actually took a wet wipe and wiped down there area and ceiling. Also the boarding process was a mess we actually were taken by bus to the aircraft that was at the freight depot and had to climb stairs to get on the 747. I’m not sure how they handle the passengers with mobility issues. First time flying with a European airline and I was told the service was better not on this flight."

Cons: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

Pros: "Had really less than an hour to pass through immigration and catch a connecting flight to Rome. In particular I thought my bag would not make the connection, and as I was going on to Perugia that evening and it would have been a big mess. At check-in for the Rome flight, the LH lady was able to confirm my bag was already aboard which put me at ease. It came through very quickly in Rome and I arrived in Perugia on time and with my bag! Food from Bogota was tasty and there was a complimentary snack on flight to Rome."

This was a mass from the start I will never use this airline or Air Canada again they ruin my login and told me it's still usable we had a delayed for three hours on the plane. Never never again!"

Cons: "The flight was over 2 hours late leaving Copenhagen, and then we sat at the gate while they unloaded bags to find the luggage of some passengers who decided not to be on that flight. Then it was total chaos at O'Hare. Very few SAS ticket agents who were not prepared to deal with the many passengers who had missed connections. We spent the night on hard chairs in the airport when we could have been re-booked on a flight out that night if they had been at all organized and efficient."

Cons: "It doesn't really matter that other aspects of the flight were ok when I had to pay £60.00 for my one regular-size suitcase, and I don't find out until I am standing at the check-in counter. Why do travelers have to pay for checked luggage, at all?"

Pros: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."

The service at the transfers counter was outstanding and they put us onto a Lufhansa flight. In the end we got to Stuttgart 5 hours later than planned."

Cons: "70euro baggage fee at counter check in while flying on SAS. The same fee is 13 Euro if is bag selected at the time of ticket booking. kayak never gave me the option."

Cons: "Our flight from Dublin was delayed 2-1/2 hours. So we missed our connecting flight to SJC. Instead of flying back at 5:15 PM we flew back at 8:13 PM. But that flight didn’t leave until 9:00 PM. They rerouted us to fly into SFO which is about 1-1/2 hours further than SJC from our house. Not good!"

Cons: "I hated that there were sudden updates of delays just moments before we were supposed to board, then delayed for a day, then cancelled. I was fortunate to be re-routed to San Francisco (I am on the way) now, through United airlines. All in all, it was a stressful inconvenience."

Cons: "This flight was delayed by almost 5 hours. While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Pros: "We appreciated that American Airlines found us two seats together for the long Dublin-Chicago leg of our journey."

Cons: "Gate supervisor (male) in Dublin was unhelpful. He announced theee times that the US Customes pre-clearance would close shortly. This announcement was in the gate area where everyone had already had to have cleared the Preclearance US Customs. Then when he announced boarding for priority and Business class he "pointedly" told the zones 1 thru 4 to all begin boarding at once (w/ one agent while three agents stood behind chatting) and to only use the one Priority lane. Thirty people all gathered for the very slow process. The Gate Supervisor the says he would start boarding Zones 5 and 6 in the other lane. Zones 5 & 6 all boarded while I (zone 1 passenger) and five others were still in que boarding thru the priority lane. Poor leadership. The Business Class flight attendant while serving snack, spilled my hot tea on my shirt, trousers and iPad. She was very apologetic and said that she wished she had not filled the cup so full. The tea "happens" and was no big deal. The Gate agent on the microphone in Dublin was having a bad morning and transferred his unhappyness to me, which I did not bargain for on the 27th."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, for the most part friendly crew, with one exception. Flight left right on time and landed with no extra time to taxi. That was a welcomed benefit."
Cons: "No wifi on plane and no individual tv's for movie selections. Also had to pay extra for an aisle seat. Could not select seat at time of purchase. Didn't know if I called Iberia or American to make seat selection. Confusing with two different flight numbers. One from Iberia and one from American. Passengers should be made aware of which airline they are flying on at time of purchase."

Pros: "Smooth flight, good crew, no other problems."
Cons: "Several video system restarts and my arm rest USB and audio jack randomly stopped working for the whole flight. Lots of people had no video screen working too. Food tasted good but had so many chemicals in it that I had digestive issues the whole flight from both meals."

Cons: "Missed first connecting flight because American Airlines wouldn't allow me to check in online due to having a toddler in my party. Had to pay for next day transfer. $240 a person. Will never use American Airlines again!"

It did board and leave on time but not an hour early. This flight was night and day different than our ORD to Dublin flight of 5.12.17 which was 5 hours delayed and do stressful."

Cons: "Initially upon arriving in phili, my wife and I boarded the plane and I walked on the plane first than immediately my wife was asked by a flight attendant if she was supposed to be on the flight without any explanation at all, it was weird and disheartening. Also other than one flight attendant actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing, and I am a big customer service man, and some of the attendants didn't seem to care AT ALL at many points, very disappointed. Also he plane that we took out of the United States to go to Ireland was very small, and the plane to return us to the states was very small as well. The flight from our connection in phili to go to Charlotte was the biggest plane we had, just for a two hour ride.. really disaipointsd with American Airlines."

Cons: "AA wants to charge $75 to change tickets to take an earlier flight. Plenty of seats available on the earlier flight, while standby passengers not able to get onto the later flight. I lost 4 hours, AA lost revenue, standby passengers stuck in Philly. Also, no air conditioning on this flight."

Pros: "Got an economy extra seat without upgrading, had a variety of snacks and service extras which were nice"
Cons: "Was never asked for dietary restrictions so no vegetarian meals were available, pretty old aircraft to be flying that route, no seat back entertainment"

Pros: "The movie selection and how often we were given beverages."
Cons: "I was selected for a random inspection. I was pulled aside and went through a separate check in process. I completed everything I was instructed to do and as I'm boarding, I'm pulled aside and told I needed to go back to pre clearance because someone forgot to punch a hole in my boarding pass. The stewardess and j had to run all the way back to security so I could go through the whole process again. I delayed the flight and everyone was upset. It was completely unnecessary. Simply because one employee didn't do their job, I delayed a transatlantic flight to Chicago. Best part, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. Also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. And I was separated from my traveling companion for this entire process. Had I missed the flight, she would never have known."

Cons: "Had to spend 12 hrs in an airport because it was cancelled and was given no reason as to why. I won't fly with aa again"
