Cons: Twice we sat on the ramp waiting for a gate agent to open the gate (for more than 15 minutes). They cancelled my flight and rescheduled me on an earlier one then waiting for the gate on arrival meant that they were calling me on the PA to report to the next gate when we got off of the first plane. The wifi entertainment glitched out every time the flight crew made an announcement. There was no food on either flight and only four beverage choices on a 1 hour flight. The lines were crazy long at the ticket counter in PDX (where I went to try to sort out my cancelled flight). The text assistance first said wait 30-35 minutes and then, after 20 minutes or so said that it was going to close my chat due to inactivity (but no one had responded yet, of course there was no activity). Overall, it was a very lousy experience. Pre-pandemic Alaska was usually a pleasure to fly, post-pandemic Alaska was excruciating at every turn. Quite a disappointment.

The potatoes served with the meal were not cooked completely and they let the entire coach section use the forward bathroom so it was like sitting at the very back. Had to wait several times for several others before i could use the first class lavatory. They didn't turn off the cabin lights until very late in the flight so we could sleep. The flight attendant(s) in first class were not friendly. Wifi was horrible and almost not useable. Definitely not worth the $29 I had to pay. I fly this trip regularly and are almost always delighted but this trip was disappointing to say the least.

They offered us a shuttle to our gate since we were running late, and then the shuttle dropped us off on the completely opposite end of the airport. We literally had to sprint across the airport with 15 minutes until our plane left, and go through security our second time where the employees were rude and not even slightly helpful. While on the plane the crew was less than friendly and short with passengers. After we landed, someone from our group was also missing their bag and was informed it was left behind in Oregon and wasn't even loaded onto the plane. Seriously the worst airport, worst crew, and worst flying experience I've ever had.

Cons: This 6:00 am flight consistently leaves the gate more than 10 minutes early. The ticket counter shuts down promptly (and in some cases even earlier) 40 minutes prior to departure. If you don't have your boarding pass in hand, you are out of luck even though the ground crew is about 10 feet from you and can see you through the glass. The airport clocks at Lewiston airport are all 3 minutes slow, except for the clocks in the TSA area which are all 5 minutes fast. Reported to the airline and to the Airport manager, Robin Turner, who was extremely condescending and rude to our party, even though we were trying to pass on information that the Airline employees had complained about the issue for months.

We often fly Alaska but this was a bad experience.

Cons: Planned my trip for my birthday/10 year anniversary. The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!

Cons: I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service.

To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines.

Cons: No space in the overhead bin for my section because they were filled with bags that were much bigger than carryon size.
Pros: On time, pleasant experience.
Cons: A couple of slightly bumpy patches due to weather, but it was tolerable.
Pros: The crew was great and the first class experience was what I expected
Cons: The plane was late, there were no boarding group lanes set up at the gate so even though I had first class seats and priority boarding I had to make my way through a large group of people in an unorganized fashion to get on the plane.
Pros: Non combatants.
Cons: Screaming babies who’s parents let’s the run around, people listening to movies without head phones

Pros: United Airline is lying to its guests. United advertise they will be middle seat between pesengers and we board a packed flight today. United is irresponsible and putting pessengers at risk of covid-19 exposure! This is unacceptable. False advertising - people paid for social distance on the plane bit encounter the opposite !!
Cons: United Airline need to be HONEST! United broke my trust. United need to update its message online and be honest - that they only care about profit during this pandemic!!

Cons: I had a basic economy so there was nothing I could have changed. The flight was good and captain alerted us frequently of status. Overall good

Cons: No communication with airlines as far as flight information. The airlines sent me gate change which was incorrect and almost missed my flight
Pros: The 737-900 was good and loading seemed pretty fast. The gate agent was very friendly and genuine.
Cons: Weather delay, then an aircraft change due to that, and finally an additional 20 minute delay due to a late crewmember which was not fully explained. If the crew member had also been deleted by the weather I would not have felt so bad about the additional delay.
Cons: Had to wait over 20 minutes to check in. Right before boarding i was forced to pay $25 to check in my handbag otherwise i was not going to be able to board.
Pros: Courteous attendants
Cons: My seat smelled like urine.
Pros: Tailwinds made the trip arrive earlier than expected even with a slight delay boarding due to the jet not arriving exactly on time. The ERJ's are really nice with the updated seats and tray table in the armrest. It was only an hour and a half flight, so no real way to rate food or entertainment.

Cons: One of our tv's didnt work on the flight. All flights should have free movies. Flying into Florida we were able to enjoy a movie but on the flight back home everything (even a regular tv channel) had to be purchased.

I had the worst experience with this airline... it was my first time traveling with u guys and it was so terrible that I would never travel again with u guys.... I flew first class going to my destination but coming back was the WORST

Cons: Walked in with 45 mins to spare my girlfriend took JetBlue we got there at the same time they put my girlfriend on united put me on a flight a hour later on stand by I didn't know what this meant I don't fly often come to find out the man at the front basically just screwed me they tell me there are no more seats I need to go on a flight that was originally for 5 but delayed to 6 obviously now I am upset I am admittedly easing my voice who wouldn't to speak to a manager a man tells me to come down or he is getting security and I will be removed I say once more I want a manger he gets security THEN GET THIS THAT WAS THE MANAGER LOL who just did not want to help because he is lazy and dosent like his job then when 6 30 finally rolls around the temperature in the plane had to be on 80 at the end of my flight my shorts were soaked in sweat DONOT EVER FLY UNITES EVER

Cons: I was in Group 5, and by the time boarding was complete with group 2, there was no more room in the overhead bins for carry on luggage. This meant that Groups 3-5 needed to gate check carry on bags and then pick them up in the Baggage Claim at ORD. This added unnecessary time to the end of my journey. I'll look around at other airlines before I fly United again. Jet Blue, on the other hand (from ORD to FLL) was great!!
Pros: Both flights overbooked so finding space on overhead bin was impossible. They boarded us last though we bought the tickets weeks in advance. Could not get seats online, at the kiosks or at the desk. Really fruatrating! My wife and I had to sit apart for the return flight. Will not fly United again unless no choice.
Cons: We have been members of Star Alliance for over 20 years with millions of miles in the book, and though I have avoid flying with the US companies of the Alliance, we too United round trip to Miami via Fort Lauderdale, flying down I was surprised that with the short flight the in flight entertainment was not free? We paid extra for extra leg room and exit seats, though what was left was given away free, which felt a bit unfair for those who paid in advance extra? Most traumatic was on the return trip, at the gate as we were removed from our prepaid seats, due to the fact that the ground crew checking us in asked us abruptly weather we could assist in the case of emergency, I replied, "Yes", but my partner was confused and did not understood the question nor the context as to what or why she was being asked! As I tried to explained that she was German and that the question had confused her and didn't primped reply, the crew stope us from boarding the flight, and demanded that our seats be changed for someone who could understand English! We explained that we both understood and spoke English perfectly well... But no one was going to reason with us and quickly removed us from our seats and had us put into the back sectioned which was without extralegal room and proceeded to give our seat out to another couple who volunteered... Without charging extra... It was appalling their behavior and unreasonable gestures towards their customers and at that a Gold member of the Alliance. We will no longer book flights with United no matter what comes, even if we have to fly around the world to get there pay triple etc. It felt a hint of racism and with the state of things, I do hope others take heed in consideration of flying with this airline. Thank you
Pros: crew, takeoff, landing and flight were good on each flight. no complaints there.
Cons: from COS to FLL: first flight was late taking off. connecting flight was on time. this is a bad combination. i was literally seconds from missing my connecting flight, and that was after sprinting from one terminal to another. captain on the first flight announced that takeoff was delayed because they were waiting for flight charts to finish downloading. really? WELL THEN GET THERE 20 MINUTES EARLIER AND BE PREPARED TO LEAVE *ON TIME* SO THAT PASSENGERS DON'T MISS (OR NEARLY MISS) THEIR CONNECTIONS!!!

Cons: On Friday I was unable to fly to Fort Lauderdale Florida due to airport close due to hurricane. United Airlines refused to refund my money even them knowing there was no way I was able to use the ticket because I never made it to Florida. Airline companies are bunch of thiefs.
Pros: The crew was very courteous and I lost my boarding pass and I was so worried but when I got off my first flight there was a rep for united at the gate who told me how to get a new one it was awesome

Cons: I faxed in my companion animal information for approval 2 weeks prior. When I checked in I was told it was never approved. I had to stay on the phone for15 minutes. Then ther screeners delayed me 25 minutes going through my carryon looking at some food items. Because of these delays I missed my flight. Horrible service...

They have a whole system set up to harass customers and strong arm them into paying more fees. So lame. Also we are all sick of baggage fees, paying for wifi and paying extra if you don't want an aisle seat.
