After running across Heathrow to make flight, we got on plane and Waited....seems after running a Mile across the airport, they Decided to HOLD the Flight and have everyone from 11am flight take the 2pm flight to Charlotte. All the baggage had to be taken from 11am flight and brought to 2pm flight. Delay for take off was almost 2 HOURS!!! Instead of arriving in Charlotte at 3pm, we were Leaving at that time!!! Didn't get to Charlotte until almost 9pm. NO ONE on Flight from 11am was Happy about this."

The flight was overbooked, so we weren't going anywhere until people volunteered to take later flights. Honestly, I will never fly United again and am cancelling my future flights in favor of taking the train instead. It takes eight hours instead of a theoretical 1.5 hours, but at least it is reliable and not much worse than the ACTUAL time it takes to fly United. Worst airline ever. Barf."

Cons: "Was delayed and missed my connection home. The hotel provided by United was dirty and run down. They gave me food vouchers for the hotel but the hotel did not have any food options. I was rescheduled on a flight home and was forced to sit in the row in front of the bathroom by the window. Likely the most cramped seat on the aircraft. I literally could not sit upright with out my head striking the wall. To top it all off they lost my bag. After hours of wrangling with the baggage folks it could not be located in their computer system at all. I was told they could only reimburse for $3,500. Needless to say I had some expensive camera equipment in my checked luggage and was not too excited about this reimbursement cap. By some miracle the bag ended up at my home destination. It was off in the corner of baggage claim. No tag on it, no one standing around it, no one knew anything about it. I just happen to walk by it on my way out of the airport. Horrible experience. I think I’ll stick with the other airlines in the future."
