At no time was I made aware during my booking that I would be charged for a carry on. The total cost added $60 to my flight. I feel completely mislead. Customers also had to pay for water on the flight which was ludicrous.
The ticket agent boarded military service men and women with priority. For the delayed flight, free in-flight entertainment and wifi was offered.
The flight was delayed taking off two hours. Once boarded we sat for an additional amount of time. The flight attendant offered the option for those that wanted to deplane at some point and when asked how much longer we would be sitting she said it was another 30 minutes waiting on 15 people.
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
I'm a small to average sized woman and I had no room to move. It's the only airline that goes from Atlanta to Atlanic City so I have no choice. Oh and the 2 hour delay was aweful too. I understand these things happen but I never expect that in May.
the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. Additionally, Frontier isn't a participant of the TS-Pre Check program, which Frontier should advertise.
The flight was delayed and delayed and delayed for every reason under the sun. Well when the plane finally landed it was down for maintance. But there was no maintance crew. So with no info, I talked to the desk monkey, I mean lady who obviously did not speak English, cause her Ebonics were quite broken and slurred. So with little help and my fear of the actual flight being as terrible as the events leading up to it. I just bought another ticket on an another carrier. Walked to there gate and left. My sanity and safety are not worth a 50 dollar plane ticket.
Everyone was polite and The airplane was clean. Even though we were very late every member on staff was kind, patient, and happy.
We were about 1 1/2 hours off of it original departure time. No one explained a thing to the passengers. We were delayed and when we finally got on the plane we waited a whole hour to take off. There was no information passed to us about how long it would take and our potential wait time. When it is time to check in, we had to purchase our seats. No where, when we bought tickets for this flight, did it say we had to pay extra money to actually sit on the flight.
We were told the flight was delayed, two hours after it was delayed. Alaska airlines said, "no flights are leaving IAH"; as we watched several other flights depart. The next day when we could fly, it took the airline 4-hours to get their self organized; they couldn't figure out which gate to send us to, the staff made jokes about how dysfunctional they were over the PA as we all were waiting to board. When we did finally get on the plane, they had no food for the flight. They had the nerve to offer us free drinks; on an empty stomach and after a long layover...yay!!!!!
When I made it to Seattle, my luggage made it to my connection, but I didn't have enough time.
Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Very old airplane, if you have any carry-on you'll have to pay $45, the crew wasn't really that friendly, the plane just felt old, like the oldest plane I've ever been on. It didn't take turbulence well, so we were getting knocked around the entire flight. They were offering 'free water" as if it were some big favor.
The seating was way to tight, the leg room cramped absolutely most uncomfortable. It was over booked and people were left behind. It was also very bumpy ( I know not your fault) so therefore seatbelt lights were on for most of the flight
