Daily cleaning, installation of cabin HEPA filters on flights from Houston to Rennes
France has begun to ease its travel restrictions. As well as travelers arriving from states in the wider European area (EU, Andorra, Vatican City, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland) can enter without any COVID-19 restrictions, travelers may now enter France from Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay without any requirement to self-isolate, or to demonstrate their travel is essential.
UK travelers/non-EU and EEA nationals resident in the UK will not be permitted entry to France for non-essential purposes. Essential travel is still permitted. These restrictions do not apply to UK nationals who are legally resident in France. You will be allowed to re-enter the country, but may need to show proof of residence.
Exemptions exist for spouses and children of French nationals, long-term residents with French residence permits and their spouses and children, long-term residents of EEA Member States, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the Vatican City and their spouses and children on their way home, and healthcare professionals. Airline crew, personnel of diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations with offices in France and their spouses and children, and merchant seamen may also still enter. Mask wearing is obligatory for all travelers above the age of 11.
Travelers will need to complete a ‘sworn statement’ (déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying they are not suffering from symptoms associated with COVID-19 and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight.
Travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure. Children under the age of 11 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test result.
Foreign travelers who are not nationals of the above countries or arriving from one of the above countries are still restricted from entering France.
Travelers arriving from outside of the countries listed above must have an International Travel Certificate to enter and transit France, showing that their travel is of an "essential" nature. This must be obtained prior to departure via the French consular offices abroad or online at https://www.interieur.gouv.fr.
Travelers are subject to a 7-day isolation period and take another COVID-19 PCR test at the end of this period.
There are special regulations for travelers transiting through France to return to their country of residence. Only direct transit to reach your country of residence is permitted. Transiting travelers may not leave the international zone and will not be admitted to France. Luggage must be checked through to the final destination, and travelers will not be permitted to leave the international zone to collect and recheck baggage. The duration of transit must be less than 24 hours.

Cons: "DTW to FLL, plane was delayed coming from BOS to DTW 5 hours for BOS weather. The plane arrived & they announced they would turn it around ASAP. They started the boarding process & then stopped it stating that a crew member had timed out. Delayed hour to FIND one. Shortly after delayed overnight."
Cons: "The flight scheduled was 1 hour 30 minutes late"

They then told me to cancel my skymiles flight and purchase a new ticket. I was able to check my bag at the gate. Show up 2 hours before to account for their incompetenc"
Pros: "staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs."
Pros: "Zee was our flight attendant and she was absolutely wonderful. I wish she could be on every flight I take."
Pros: "Flight was smooth, arrived early..crew was prompt and courteous."
Pros: "On time"
Pros: "Free movies available in-flight"
Cons: "temperature during flight. Freezing then hot, freezing then hot and never a comfortable temp. Food was terrible. Entrees were flavorless and smelled terrible. Time they served food made no sense at all either. Within the hour of getting on the plane, they served a meal which made no sense because most folks ate before getting on the plane. Stewardesses were not friendly (only 1 made me feel valued and welcomed)"
Pros: "Short flight! Crew nice enough!"
Cons: "Boarding seemed slightly delayed"
Pros: "Cornell and Dorothy and the other flight attendants were the BEST! Cornell actually welcomed each passenger as they came onboard. Dorothy modeled the emergency info in such a graceful way... that you chose to pay attention because she made you feel secure. My colleagues and I have all agreed to fly Delta again ( specifically the Atlanta/ Milwaukee flight) Because of these courteous, caring, and professional people!"
Pros: "Friendliness of attendants. Quality of snacks."
Cons: "Hip room. Leg room."
Pros: "The flight was good, Boarding was smooth and fast"
Cons: "I asked one of the crew members to help me to get a better seat as I was very tired and wanted to sleep better during the flight and he didnt pay attention to me. I realized there were emthy seats available during the flight"
Pros: "The flight entertainment and crew were great. They had a lot of the latest movies available to watch, though I'm not sure you'd be able to watch if you didn't have your own headphones (I did). The crew were friendly and helpful. I got a cold cup of coffee when it should have been hot, and they corrected it immediately."
Cons: "They charge you for everything: sitting in an aisle or window seat ($15); checking one piece of luggage ($25); for food, even on a five hour flight, save for complementary snacks like a granola bar or pretzels. I paid $11 for a tiny sandwich (it fit in the palm of my already small hands). I will definitely get good at the airport next time. It may be just as expensive, but at least it will be filling."
Pros: "The staff was efficient and kind"
Cons: "The plane was late for weather reasons and they overbooked the flight they had to offer $400 for next flight wasn’t until the next morning.. no entertainment system on plane"

Pros: "Great movies...."
Cons: "Horribly uncomfortable on plane! Need more room!"
Cons: "Delayed, for close to 6 hours and missed our connection"
Pros: "Cabin crew and captain were great."
Cons: "Don't like how you don't get your seat assignment until you get to the gate. I was given the window seat in the very last row for a 6 hour flight, quite uncomfortable. I could've booked another airline for a similar price and picked the seat i wanted at booking. They ran out of food choices by the time they got to the last row, so we were given whatever was left. Delayed because one of the bathroom doors wasn't working, 30 min later still wasn't fixed and ultimately they decided to go without it."

Cons: "Waiting to get off the plane. Other customers moving too slow"
Pros: "The flight was on schedule"
Cons: "It was crowded and cramped."

Cons: "Quality and comfort of seats. Quality of food. The TV screen was from the 80s."
Pros: "Good snacks and movie selection. Seats were spacious and comfortable"
Cons: "Delayed flight, confusing boarding, and not the friendliest flight attendants"
Pros: "everything on schedule; courteous staff and great pilots"
Cons: "everything was very ordinary so cannot complain"
Pros: "Free meals! Free snacks! Free movies! Comfortable seats and friendly flight attendants!"
Pros: "Crew were friendly and understanding"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 4 times, didn't land in ATL until almost 4 a.m. Still was charged for bags and when I called in to reschedule so I could get another nights sleep they said next flight wasn't until 10 the next day and there was charge for that. Also my flight from ATL to Boston earlier that week was delayed 3x. Overall not impressed with this connection. Meanwhile another flight to Boston from ATL left and I was not notified or selected for this change."
Pros: "Boarding was easy. Wifi was available and we got some snacks. Paid extra to sit in roomier coach, was worth it."
Cons: "Still pretty cramped, not the crews fault. Would've been better with the seat back screens"

Cons: "Small plane to Minneapolis with one bathroom and the flight to sna didn't have my request for a gluten free meal."
Cons: "Double booked my seat. Lost my bag."
Cons: "2 hours delayed"
Pros: "We travelled Economy comfort which has extra leg room & recline, which is great for a long flight such as this. Food was ok, crew were great & there was a lot of good entertainment to watch? A nice smooth ride down to Sydney."
Cons: "Food wasn't so great & coffee as with most Airlines is terrible."
Pros: "Staff are friendly"
Cons: "No leg room compared with JetBlue; few free snacks"
Cons: "My plane was delayed 2 hours, additional wait while taking off. There was about 3 hours in Utah for me to connect to the next flight to Dallas. When getting off at Utah, I could not get off plane early to catch the plane. In the past the flight attendants were very well informing people. I was at the gate only 5 mins late before catching the flight. Now I am stuck in the airport for 5 hours on standby!!!! It can be avoided totally."
Cons: "Delta Flight #1661 I paid for 1st class. My first flight was late so I arrived at the gate after boarding began. When the gate attendant scanned my ticket another printed. When he handed me the ticket my seat had changed to seat 25E. I told the attendant that I had paid for first class. He asked me to step aside while he contacted his supervisor, Joe. Then I had to wait until ENTIRE flight had boarded which defeated part of the reason I paid for the upgrade. This was on top of the fact I was so thirsty because 1st flight didn't have drink service and because it was late I had to book it to the connection arriving sweaty, hot and needing to use the bathroom. I was told they had given my seat away to someone as a free upgrade. Joe offered me a $100 voucher to take other seat which was less than I paid for 1st class, plus the seat was a middle seat in the rear of the plane. When I told him as much, he tried to manipulate me by telling me that they would have to kick someone out of my seat. When I declined the downgrade, they made me stand by while they kicked someone out of my seat which was embarrassing and humiliating. Then, when they handed me a new boarding pass, it was not the seat I had paid for and selected, instead it was in the first row, which I’ve always hated because there is no under seat storage and I cannot keep my backpack with me. When I pay for first class, it is primarily so that I can board first and so that I have extra room to work (which I need access to my bag to do). While I was trying to take out the minimum of the things I needed from my bag and figure out how to manage without it, 3 times a flight attendant told me they had to take my bag (since I was the last person to board they tried to prevent me from using the bathroom and they were anxious to leave early). I tried to explain that Delta had prevented me from boarding earlier and that they gave away the seat I paid for which was NOT the first row."
Pros: "Drinks were passed out twice while everyone was waiting due to flight delay. There was one flight attendant that was awesome. I had asked for coffee due to migraine. I was stuck in the last row, back of the plane & had seen other people with coffee. The flight attendant told me no, I would have to wait for 3 more hours for coffee at breakfast. A smiling face showed up within minutes & asked if I wanted coffee. She told me that when she hears someone else say "no" that she thinks it should always be "yes". She was the African American flight attendant (wish I would have got her name). She brought me coffee, offered tylenol & checked in on me again later."
Cons: "Food wasn't very good. Most of the service was fair at best, crew, no smiles, looked irritable. Our flight had been delayed about 4-5 hrs so passengers & staff grumpy. Poor selections on the movies. No charging stations in the seat. This plane was very noisy so I was really glad to have noise cancelling headphones. Very expensive to select seats as it was bought through a non-Delta site to get the desired connections."
Pros: "The 717 is a decent plane for short haul flights. Seats are comfortable. Delta crew was outstanding!"
Cons: "The general cabin vent (that runs down the length of the cabin) over 13E blows on the side of 13D occupant's head. Since Scranton is humid this time of year I also had heavily moisture-laden air blowing against me which occasionally felt like water droplets. The sound of forceful rushing air is annoying enough but the muscles in my neck were cramping due to the cold air on the first part of the flight. (This is NOT the personal, adjustable vent I'm talking about. I know how to turn them off and redirect air flow). Perhaps there is a a crew controlled adjustment that had been neglected during this flight. Started on the ground during boarding, continued throughout flight."
