When I purchased the ticket RT from Chicago to London it was booked through Iberia Airlines, th= carrive un known until i purchased. It wasn't until I was at the gate that is found out it was American Airlines/British Airways. They own Iberia. Anyway, it was a 777 with all the comforts! Great service, ok food, individual phone chargers and tvs in coach! I had purchased one week prior and got bulkhead and window seating! Short flight...couldn't be better. Coming back was a 767...not as plush, old radio music system and one center tv with timed movies,1 for every 50 people. I could barely see or hear the movies. Food was OK but again shirt flight.
I still don't understand why they don't board from the back of the plane forward. Why would first class want everyone bumping into them? So slow and inefficient!
I bought this flight last minute to surprise a family member for his 60th birthday – a very long trip to make for just a weekend. British made it much more comfortable though. The food was actually tasty, I might even say, and the flight attendants were very pleasant. Lovely to see that they're still flying the 747 – those big birds are disappearing too fast.
In economy, there are still no A/C power outlets! Come on!
Everything , food was terrible , my seat was the worst, I asked for better seat they couldn't seat me anywhere else even bough I'm a frequent flyer in one world. Terrible service
One of my worst flights
The bag drop off line had only two people working and they disappeared. No one directed those who had not gotten their boarding passes to the correct line. It was a mess and made it almost impossible to make the flight even though we arrived 2.5 hours ahead with boarding passes in hand.
So cramped in coach with little legroom for taller people and seatmate spread so much that was forced to sit cockeyed and spill out into the aisle where I was constantly bumped and knocked. For 8 hours.
Flight Attendant were very nice and the service was great. Good selection of movies and entertainment.
Our flight was delayed but they kept us very informed about boarding and when we were scheduled to depart.
They ran out of pasta so there was no meal choice. Also the snack served before we landed was a chicken salad sandwich which no one in my party of 5 likes.
