Our flight was canceled two times by Spirit, and we had to stay another day due to the fact that the airline has limited availability for rescheduling canceled flights. Once the third flight arrived, there was an issue boarding due to a beligerant passenger and the flight was over an hour late. However, the entire time the issue was being resolved, Spirit told the passengers waiting to board NOTHING. Everytime a question was asked about whether or not we would be leaving, the staff was rude and avoided answering. I will never fly Spirit again, as they truly do not care about their customers.

I got to Boston safely and the pilot and attendants did their best jobs. Also my luggage arrived in a timely manner.

Your seats are too small even for a relatively small person. You should hire more flight attendants so that they are more available to help customers. We should be fed on flights of 6 hours long. American treats us like chattel and make flying unappealing.

Becasue I was in boarding group 8, I was advised to again check my carry-on bag. When I boarded (almost the last person to do so), there was an empty overhead compartment directly across from my seat. I had to wait 30-40 minutes at the carousel to collect this carry-on bag. I could have just gone directly to my car as I had no other checked bags. Very poor service. I will avoid booking with American Airlines in the future.

Quick boarding

The controls for my TV didn't work and when I asked for it to be fixed, the attendant told me in a frustrated way that she guessed she could move me seats but then just walked away. For a 5.5 hour flight this was pretty irritating because I didn't have access to any entertainment but also I couldn't even turn the super bright TV off.

Gate to plane ramp broken and unavailable. Had to walk on tarmac and carry luggage up to plane. No WiFi! Seat bottom worn out. No fresh food. With no WiFi there should have been free access to Satellite TV or movies.

Flew delta a few days ago and this wasn't an issue but you've gotta do better on the wifi and tv front. Part of my decision to fly delta is entertainment.

Wifi was too slow to stream (audio only) a live sporting event. No satellite tv for the entire flight with no announcement - I had to ask the crew twice what was up.

Delta staff taking care of rude/beligerant guests first vedore guests patiently/kindly waiting in line ... children watched that behavior and the jerks recieved special treatment. Flight staff ripped up guests boarding pass in face. Staff allowed ys to board plane and put our bags under plane and then crew timed out before take off. Never will use Delta again.

I understand things happen which causes delays. Apparently the gate our plane intended to use was occupied by a plane with technical issues. An alternative gate had a plane which was delayed from its departure. Situation was mis-managed ...poor preformance

Unfortunately, there was nothing to like about this flight that never took place. Instead, no agent or representative from Virgin America showed up for hours to let us know that our flight was delayed, as the time of departure came and went. We waited for several hours as we tried to locate an agent. After we finally located a Virgin America attendant at LAX, she was unable to provide any information about the flight whatsoever, telling us only that we were waiting for the plane to come from SFO. Two other Virgin America reps arrived to try to handle the situation but were unable to obtain any information regarding the status of our flight. We received numerous inaccurate updates and explanations for the delay and continued to receive erroneous updates that advised our plane would be leaving SFO and arriving to LAX soon. Finally, just before 4:00am, we were told that our flight had been canceled. Although I had been up front at the desk, trying to communicate for hours with the Virgin Atlantic team, when the announcement of the cancelation was made, everyone rushed into lines, and we were forced to wait for almost two more hours before being rebooked onto another flight. The original flight had been a nonstop flight; the new, connecting flights arrived into Boston, my destination, at the end of the next day, forcing me to miss the entire family celebratory event for which I had flown from Los Angeles. The trip was a disaster. The lack of communication from Virgin America prevented me from rebooking myself onto the 7:00am flight that would've arrived in Boston many hours sooner. The lack of communication showed complete disregard and disrespect for all of us travelers, and the inability of the Virgin America team to learn any accurate information erased any confidence we had in your airline to properly care for its passengers.

Very meticulous pilots, very friendly and accommodating cabin crew

When we made reservations in February we opted for economy plus seating 8C and 8D on an Airbus A320. In June we received notice of a schedule and equipment change to a Boeing 737-300. I was not told or given the option to change seat assignments, and we were assigned middle and window seats 28E and 28F, which were torture, so narrow and almost no legroom. Why weren't we automatically assigned economy plus seats? Adding insult to injury I had to apply for a refund for the seat upgrade, which again should have been automatic. Seeing as how the return flight was code-shared with AirCanada, United did not give us the option to upgrade seating, so I was forced to call United, waited almost 40 minutes so that they could give me the AirCanada booking reference number which then enabled me to upgrade seats via AirCanada's website. Lucky thing too because there weren't many economy plus seats left. I consider myself to be a savvy traveler, but there were too many unknowns and hoops to jump through in order to get proper seating. Plus the extra fees for premier access and baggage are exorbitant. Finally, I bought an egg white flatbread snack which was awful. I don't see how United gets away with this treatment, it certainly doesn't make for an enjoyable experience when vacationing. In fact we are seriously considering not taking any more vacations requiring flying. We're happy that airlines are profitable, but not at the expense of comfort or navigating options that require very sophisticated knowledge.

Crew was great, flight was on-time and most often overlooked (but most important) we got there safely.

The seat on this 737-800 was uncomfortably narrow. This was likely due to the table-tray being in the seat armrest. I had to remove everything from my side pants pockets and even then was not particularly comfortable. This is particularly annoying because I usually avoid this by flying comfort plus. However, on this itinerary, Delta would not allow me to give them money for Comfort plus, because it was a domestic leg on an itinerary including stops in Asia. Such a baffling policy!?!?

The flight attendants were attentive, the pilot was informative, and the gate agents kept the line moving

We waited over 10 min to allow 2 families with small children to sit together. These sorts of things should be handled when the ticket is purchased, not at the expense of the flight taking off on time. In fact, the pilot took to the PA to say "come on, we've got like 2 mins to leave." The whole ordeal took 2 flight attendants, a gate agent, and required 5 people to move around.

Great boarding process. This team was very nice. Plane was clean and there was no confusion anywhere. Small emergency on the plane during flight with passenger and the crew was professional and quick to help.

It is ridiculous to charge for carry on bags. Especially such a high fee.

The plane was brand new and very clean and spacious. The flight was also so cheap. The negatives are that the seats don’t recline, there is no Wi-Fi on the plane or option to even purchase Wi-Fi, there was no entertainment, and because of the low prices, not even the water is complementary. Excellent value

Everything up til we landed on time.....

I understand things happen which causes delays. Apparently the gate our plane intended to use was occupied by a plane with technical issues. An alternative gate had a plane which was delayed from its departure. Situation was mis-managed ...poor preformance

Unfortunately, there was nothing to like about this flight that never took place. Instead, no agent or representative from Virgin America showed up for hours to let us know that our flight was delayed, as the time of departure came and went. We waited for several hours as we tried to locate an agent. After we finally located a Virgin America attendant at LAX, she was unable to provide any information about the flight whatsoever, telling us only that we were waiting for the plane to come from SFO. Two other Virgin America reps arrived to try to handle the situation but were unable to obtain any information regarding the status of our flight. We received numerous inaccurate updates and explanations for the delay and continued to receive erroneous updates that advised our plane would be leaving SFO and arriving to LAX soon. Finally, just before 4:00am, we were told that our flight had been canceled. Although I had been up front at the desk, trying to communicate for hours with the Virgin Atlantic team, when the announcement of the cancelation was made, everyone rushed into lines, and we were forced to wait for almost two more hours before being rebooked onto another flight. The original flight had been a nonstop flight; the new, connecting flights arrived into Boston, my destination, at the end of the next day, forcing me to miss the entire family celebratory event for which I had flown from Los Angeles. The trip was a disaster. The lack of communication from Virgin America prevented me from rebooking myself onto the 7:00am flight that would've arrived in Boston many hours sooner. The lack of communication showed complete disregard and disrespect for all of us travelers, and the inability of the Virgin America team to learn any accurate information erased any confidence we had in your airline to properly care for its passengers.

It was all pretty nice and easy, and on time, so a happy flight experience.

No free snacks were offered, even a cookie or pretzels.
