As if the lack of reclining seats was bad enough, the engine noise and vibration was almost unbearable on the flight that was delayed one hour on the Tarmac. The crew was understanding and we did get to Orlando safely...a big plus."

They didn't seem to be very accommodating or apologetic and I didn't even offer compensation to those who had to stay overnight to wait for the next flight out. C'mon AA. Step it up! I would think that if you cancel a flight, you should help your customers get home the same day. Do whatever you can. I don't think you did whatever you could for most of us on that flight."

I WILL TRY NOT TO FLY IN AA AGAIN."

By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals."

I did not have time in Cincinnati to do half the things I wanted to do, and I had so little sleep on Friday night that I had to spend too much of my first Cincinnati night in bed trying to catch up with lost sleep, Thanks, American! This was to have been the head-clearing out-of-town break I sorely needed after a period of over-intense work."

There were no snacks offered. Drinks were not offered till at least an hour into flight. My first flight was canceled. Kayak let me know, American never notified me!"

Going and coming from LaGuardia, the flight gate was changed multiple times, then there was at least an hour and a half delay on the ground and an hour in the plane. We had to reroute to Neward because of air traffic situations, but the ground crew was not ready nor efficient in helping the throngs of people find transportation or understand the process The crew was sour, and when simply asked for a spoon, the guy said, "later" and of course, he never brought one. There was no friendliness or cordiality from these people. We were like cattle to them. I have never seen it so bad. I have watched what used to be a great airline with Continental, decline to a consistently subpar experience with United. I will look for other airlines to fly in the future. My experiences with Southwest have been much better in the last two years."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed by an hour and 20 min. I arrived at Dallas for my connector to Austin, 25 min before my departure time. I could have made it, however, the plane taxi'd at the gate for at least 10 min, then the door wouldn't open. When I finally got off, I sprinted to my next gate, thinking they may hold it for a few minutes as there were many people connecting on that flight to Austin, but instead they did the opposite. When I arrived there were other people waiting who had arrived 10 min before the departure time (also from a delayed flight) and the doors were already closed. There was no representative at the gate to even tell us this, until we had waited over 10 min, and when he arrived, he said the doors were closed, and all of us were too late. Why would you close the doors early, knowing that other connectors were coming in. Additionally, on my return trip, my flight was cancelled, and I never received a reason for its cancellation, just an automatic rebooking that put me back in New York a day late. I had to be on the phone for an hour, rebooking a flight that United didn’t have. They instead put me on an American airlines flight last minute that I barely made. This wouldn’t have been so bad if this wasn’t the second time this exact scenario occurred within two months, when my siblings attempted to return home for the Christmas holidays. United is terrible."

Cons: "We were delayed by an hour plus and then when we got boarded we had to wait for the co-piolet and the stewardess to get done flirting and talking so we could get going and it was only a 18 minute flight from Chicago to Milwaukee and we sat waiting after being boarded for longer than that to get out of the airport and get going after having an hour plus layover because the crew taking us was on a different plane that took longer to get to the airport. We were then told they were late the day before so they had manitory time to rest so they were late that day because of it. Not our fault and then they screw around and sit for about 30 minutes after we were boarded"

Also happened to another man who was at customer support alongside me. I was given a flight home the following AM, but spent the night in the airport sleeping on the floor-no suggestions given on how to best address this other than go to terminal C. Construction, a ridiculously rude bathroom cleaning attendant who would not allow me to use bathroom added fuel to the flame. Never again."

I had to push for gate agent to explore partners at other terminal easy to navigate to at LGA. - At the core a mechanical issue that could have been screened for during routing maintenance. - Channels for getting credit cumbersome and timely. Why can't a gate agent or representative on 800# issue a credit?"

Cons: "United Airlines gave away my seat without my permission. They gave it to keep a family together, which was ok except they never asked me if it was ok. Even when I got my ticket scanned right before boarding, no one told me about the change. I think the crew singled me out purely because I'm Asian so they thought I wouldn't say anything. They also gave away my aisle seat so I had to sit in a more crammed row and window seat. No compensation was offered, boarding took forever, and I had to check in my bag because they ran out of overhead compartment room. This was a horrid experience."

But we left late because the plane arrived late in Laguardia. I don't see how both the plane arriving to Laguardia late and departing from Laguardia late is due to air traffic controllers. No entertainment for a cross country flight and the entertainment from united wifi wouldn't work as well."

Staff had no plan to deal with situation, provided helpline numbers were useless, email/text communication of the rescheduling was nonexistent All of this is not even getting into the cheap service and setup of the flight itself. After factoring in all those things, it would have been a lot cheaper to use a different airline. Plus, it was by far the most uncomfortable airplane I have ever been on. Pros: "They don't comply with thier own policies. Thier website says a carry on bag and a personal item (such as a laptop bag) is allowed free of charge. When i reach their with a very tiny suitcase and a laptop bag, the front end staff tells me I am fine and can go ahead with the sevurity line. But when I reach at the gate and just as I am about to enter the flight a frontier employee snatches my bording pass and says that I have to pay $60 for my one item, as only one item is allowed. And she was so rude that she wouldn't listen to anything. Says the gate closes in 3mins if you wanna get in this flight pay $60 or else she wont let me in. I had no choice other than to pay. This was through kayak. I would request kayak to not keep any kinda relation qith such ripoff fraud companies, if they don't want bunch of bad reviews them self. Frontier has already millions of bad reviews and one more added from my side just now. I would never ever travel frontier again. N by the way the flight sucked as well."

They tried to charge me another $100 for another flight and still charged me the $70 for the flight I missed. So I went to American and got first class for A LOT cheaper than what I paid all together for this flight. Waste of time, money and just a big disappointment all around. Will NEVER fly frontier again!"
