On the first leg Flight 720: 1. A Black man sitting behind me was challenged (and humiliated) by a Porter agent who came on the plane before leaving the gate, that he was sitting in the wrong seat. It turns out the agent was looking at his boarding pass for the NEXT next connection flight. That delayed the take off by 10 minutes. 2. Then while taxing away from the gate for takeoff, another Black man on the same flight whose mother tongue is not English nor French, did not understand that he had to remove his earbuds for the takeoff. He said he was confused by the instructions, so the the pilot decided he was "non-compliant" and returned the plane to the gate to have him removed from the flight, bring police on the plane. I am sure he lost a lot of money and will have future difficulty flying in North America. That delayed our flight another 40 minutes, and many of us missed our connecting flights in Toronto. I just have two wonder if a white passenger would have been given the benefit of the doubt.

I appreciate some complimentary minor snacks and drinks; it certainly helped with the delay. On the first leg Flight 720: 1. A Black man sitting behind me was challenged (and humiliated) by a Porter agent who came on the plane before leaving the gate, that he was sitting in the wrong seat. It turns out the agent was looking at his boarding pass for the NEXT next connection flight. That delayed the take off by 10 minutes. 2. Then while taxing away from the gate for takeoff, another Black man on the same flight whose mother tongue is not English nor French, did not understand that he had to remove his earbuds for the takeoff. He said he was confused by the instructions, so the the pilot decided he was "non-compliant" and returned the plane to the gate to have him removed from the flight, bring police on the plane. I am sure he lost a lot of money and will have future difficulty flying in North America. That delayed our flight another 40 minutes, and many of us missed our connecting flights in Toronto. I just have two wonder if a white passenger would have been given the benefit of the doubt.

The cabin crew provided the most information out of the entire experience and were extremely friendly. I appreciate Dawn in particular. The lounge is nice when it is not so over-crowded. I appreciate some complimentary minor snacks and drinks; it certainly helped with the delay. What would normally be sufficient seating and power outlets became people tripping over each other with delayed flights.

The lounge staff were hard to find and not communicative about delays. The board only had 1 update to my departure time, which was 30 mins after the originally scheduled time, and did not update again until 25 minutes after that second time had passed. The lounge staff did not make an announcement until after that board update and even then the information was wrong. The one time I found someone to ask a question to, I was given the same information. I had no idea why there was a delay or what to expect and no way of finding out. It made coordinating next steps upon my arrival to my destination extremely difficult. The lounge is not particularly well-equipped for multiple delayed flights.

The waiting lounge was nice and complemented with refreshments

When I got to Toronto I was directed to the wrong lounge for a while before I asked and was redirected to the correct lounge

But when you're "stuck" in a chair and I arrived early, it would be nice for someone to check to see if you had to go the washroom. And I had to flag someone down to get me to the aircraft. No one came by and offered. But overall fantastic experience. I would fly porter again.

Wish their was more food on the flight. Even though it was a short one.
