Cons: "The food from Bombay to Rajkot can be better"

Cons: "Everything. Starting at check-in upto flight conclusion, there is always a problem. Their business and first class product is far, far below global standards. Seats are broken, some of them are not cleaned properly etc. For an aircraft that is about 6 years old, it looks like 30."

Pros: "The crew should be commended for doing such a great job despite the unruly behavior of some of the passengers. The Legroom on the airline is much larger than most of the airlines I have traveled. The meals served are mostly geared towards the Indian cuisine and it’s pretty good and sumptuous. You are provided with three meals on the EWR-BOM leg viz. lunch, dinner and breakfast."
Cons: "The boarding at Newark was chaotic but the blame lies on passengers who were not heeding to the repeated announcement from the ground staff. The entertainment system on the flight was very spotty with some terminals being unresponsive to touch. The passenger announcement are very minimal."
Pros: "Good leg room, carry on luggage space was great and the crew was very helpful. Overall flight experience was great, taking and land off wise."
Cons: "The audio head set on the entertainment system was broken. The crew tried to fix it by rebooting it several times but to no avail. It seemed like a hardware issue which should ideally have been caught before the flight. The food was also a bit disappointing - the bread was cold, and the second meal (chicken version) had an odd smell to it."

Cons: "The flight was delayed which made me miss my connection to Kochi. There are no announcements or communication from Air India. It's not worth flying Air India for cheaper tickets even if it's a last minute trip. I would recommend Emirates or Qatar Airways, if traveling from NY to COK"

Cons: "TV screen we're not working so to hide the lights of screen flight attendant covered the screen with a blanket. Remote was not working due to which I was able to turn on the lights and could not call the attendant by a remote. Quality of food offered was very bad."

Cons: "Travel was not comfortable and the food during entire 16 hr travel was horrible. I could not eat anything except tea and coffee. I usually not a complainer about my travel. I always travel by Air India. But past couple of times the quality of food has declined a lot and I thought I should inform about it. Also the AI crew was unprofessional. They were talking in their local language. They should also pay attention to their appearance. Thank you."
Cons: "1. The screen on all the 3 seats was not working. 2. The seats were not comfortable as they were very old. 3. They mentioned there will be a stopage at Mumbai but instead when we reached Mumbai the crew was not aware and they asked to collect bags and checkin again through domestic terminal within half an hour. Would not recommend to friend and family."

Cons: "Air India cancelled our flight out of JFK "Because of the weather" as i was looking at planes taking off there to a perfectly clear blue sky. They do not invest in deicing equipment, presumably. I received a generic auto-text that the flight was cancelled and told to call them. After waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do to rebook us anywhere within the next 5 days. Our only option was to accept their full cancellation of both the outgoing and return trips. Completely miserable experience."

Cons: "Being India’s national airline, it needs lot of improvement immediately. It isnt of any use giving review here but for the sake of it, I will. The food was mediocre and repeated. Limited beverage options. Crew was not very responding. Many TV screens didn’t work and even after being told thrice about it, crew didn’t fix it and neither told why. Trash bags were lying open in flight’s food pantry. Never seen that with any other airline. Worst part, the seat comfort and quality of everything in the flightwas below average. Food table, seat covers, etc. None of it is a big deal individually but when all things are combined, the experience of flying air india is not great."
Pros: "- Good time of day to fly (left midnight, arrived in London around noon) - the flight coincided with normal sleep time, so I arrived with very little jetlag. The aircraft (Boeing 787 Dreamliner) was well equipped, had ample luggage space and effective mood lighting. - Flight left on time and arrived early."

Cons: "the main reason why i find the service provided by the airlines to be beyond poor is because the connecting flight was delayed by more than 6 hrs and there was no assistance from the airlines staff regarding the next flight or the amount of delay. The flight got delayed because of weather conditions which is not the fault of the airlines but keeping stranded passengers informed is their most important duty."
