Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day."

We nearly missed our flight because it was boarding at that time."

Cons: "I don't mind the bare fare, a-la-carte pricing. Its different but once I understood it, I could manage. On my flight to Ft. Lauderdale from Denver, I witnessed a male flight attendant being exceptionally rude to every person passing him while entering the plane. He then proceeded to belittle and talk down to each customer he talked to about moving jackets and correct placement of personal vs. carry on items. There was plenty of room in overhead bins once the plane was loaded. This flight attendant, talked to people as if we knew have rule he did and if they didn't he became aggressive and rude. At one point an older gentleman in his late 60's questioned what the rude flight attendant was saying and the attendant snapped. He screamed at the man and then threatened to have him removed for challenging what he said. I was afraid to ask for water or to even stand up because of how your flight attendant responded to an honest question. I have been flying for 30years and have never experienced such vile behavior on an airplane. The male flight attendant had brown hair was around 6ft tall, not big but not in good shape and wore glasses. I hope that he never is able to threaten people in flight again. The atrocious behavior i witnessed, has me never wanting to fly with spirit again. On the way home from Mexico, our flights were timed 1hr apart but yet it took 2+ hrs to go through customs. Do to this poor planning on behalf of spirit, we missed our flight and had to spend another unexpected night in Florida. I incurred charges for taxis, hotels, expensive food and missing work. When I spoke with spirit staff members they refused to help. One suggested I should pay money for a new flight. Its took me 5 employees to finally find someone who offered to fix the flights for the next day for no extra cost. I was offered no compensation for my inconvenience and time."
Cons: "Not being able to pick a better seat with no charge Not being able to bring my carry on with no charge Never flying spirit again. I'd rather fly Americancor united!"
Pros: "They boarded the plain before time and proceeded with 1 hour maintenance, informing us that will take only 10 min, repeating that numerous times during the course."
Pros: "Clean newer aircraft, friendly crew"
Cons: "Have to pay 50.00 per checked bag, pay for simple beverage, no movie."
Cons: "My flight was delayed 6 hours. People were screaming at the attendants and they screamed back at the customers. All Spirit did was give me a $50 voucher when I was promised a $150 voucher."
Pros: "The pilot did a good job, and the flight attendants were polite and efficient. The plane was boarded orderly and efficiently. The plane was clean, but had only one operating toilet (thank goodness I did not have to use it!). The flight was on time and arrived in Atlanta early."
Cons: "The arm rests and leg room are almost non-existent, so the passengers in Economy are squashed in like sardines. The aisle is extremely narrow and hard to walk down without hitting someone. The price was good, but because of the baggage surcharge it is not much better than Delta or other airlines. However, it wasn't bad enough that I wouldn't fly again on short flights such as Atlanta to Detroit."
Cons: "Baggage fees were outrageous!!!!! More like a scam than an airline."

Cons: "The place sounds like it's falling apart when you depart and land, the crew members need to learn how to be more professional infront of people and keep their rude comments to themselves even if they're speaking to another crew member especially about a passenger. Also they should be more helpful, When asked for a favor"
Cons: "No notice Everything is extra. Seats don't recline."
Cons: "Spirit is a low cost, low class airline that works only in a situation where no other carriers can be used. The front desk staff are so-so and the internet website never works correctly. Their IT department needs fired and the website needs completely redone. Patience when working with this airline is very necessary as you encounter many frustrating roadblocks. Seats are so close together that the other passenger is all over you. If the adjoining seat has a larger passenger as in my case, this passenger will make your flight absolutely miserable."
Cons: "Long lines, poor service, lack of communication w/ passengers"
Pros: "The safe seemed friendly, I had no complaints with them."
Cons: "The airline charges a carry on which I didn't see clearly when booking my flight. They also don't offer complimentary beverages; which isn't a huge deal. However, I would of brought a drink with me if I knew that. The aircraft felt very dirty, the seats had stains all over them. I felt gross sitting in my row."
Cons: "The Flight was delayed for 7 hours but through out the process there was no clear information when we would be able to fly. So it was hard for us to make a decision on what to do. The airplane we were supposed to ride arrived 6 hours late at 12:00am and they told us first that if we dont board by 12:30am the flight will be canceled and rushed us to the changed gate. Then told us because of inspection that the flight will leave maybe in an hour. We ended up boarding at 1:30 and the flight attendant had no regard of our situation. She made loud and unnecessary PA annoucements such as "now we will dim the lights for your comfort so you can rest well" after the plane has been in the air for 40 minutes. Just overall a terrible experience. I understand now why the price is so cheap."
