Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked.
I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining.
I lost my flight because I try to check in 40 minutes before my flight. I understand the policy and it was my fault for not being super early, but when I asked the lady front the counter regarding my options she said: " If I were you I would check other airlines because we have limited flights", I had to ask her to show me the list of the flights to make a decision what the closest city to my original destination, but I had to asked her to show me the screen because she did not offer me any viable solution.
I was not looking for a extravagant experience but rather an inexpensive flight. The flight was just that. No frills,as comfortable as expected. The crew was pleasant. What do you expect when you buy a Big Mac. I will definitely fly with Frontier again.
Loved the flight attendant. She went out of her way to make everyone relaxed and feel at ease. She even sang to us, it put a big smile on my face especially after the terrible experience I had with the ticket agent.
Your staff did not give me the right info about baggage check. I checked one bag in and paid for it, that was cool. But when I got to board the plane they told me I had to pay an extra $40.00 for the carry on. Should the ticket agent not of given me this info when I checked and paid for my other baggage? Because of this experience, I will never fly with you again! Teach your staff to give people the correct info, instead of pulling a fast one on them to make more money.
I flew Frontier because it was cheaper than the other airlines. On the plane they charge for coffee, soda, etc... while other airlines give this out for free. Considering the price of the ticket its fair.
We waited almost 45 minutes at baggage claim for luggage to start coming out. No excuse for that.
