Cons: "Some of the crew was decent others seemed annoyed they were doing their job. Two of the employees serving the cabin could use an attitude adjustment. The crew was late in getting food out but for a four hour flight there is no value in flying anymore. Airlines are just trying to rake in as much money as possible. When are they going to be responsible for everyone getting sick like cruise ships are? They should hand out masks and sanitizer because airlines are one of the dirtiest public spaces that there is! Show up late and barely clean the plane between its third or fourth leg of the day."

OH and the boarding process! thank you for COMMON SENSE, board the back of the plane first!!!! overall i am very happy with the experience. the economy seats gave as much leg room as the economy plus on United. as you can tell I hate united and have been flying with them a long time."

The actual flight was very short (1.5 hours), so service on the plane was limited. I don't remember any food for example, but I don't really care. TVs were provided, and free, but I didn't bother using them. Free wifi was slow with spotty service, but did work."

Cons: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

Cons: "So I arrived in Atl was on standby for the 7:20 flight to Dca airport I had already paid $50 for standby! I got cleared for this flight and bumped to delta comfort. I was super excited to finally get upgraded! Then the plane had problems we were then again delayed and had to deplane. We were told this would be a 2 hour delay. I proceeded to try an get on the next flight at 8:20 while asking about a window seat the lady told me I would have to pay an additional $19! Well I had already paid $50. So the nice lady put me on that flight after I had already asked for window seat. She put me in the middle seat! I get that planes have problems and flights are delayed! There was so much bad yesterday then good and I feel like delta should know. It's more and more bad everytime I fly! Please fix these problems!"

By ths point it was 5 pm, had been at airport since 8:30 -- no food offered, no apologies, not even a glass of water. Of course, no flights back to US so I was stuck an extra day, completely messed up school and work. I THOUGHT I was booking with Iberia but it was a code share. I WILL NEVER fly American Airlines again!"

A little embarrassing that an airline in America can't afford a hotel for people stranded in a city overnight."

Cons: "When the pilot took off at LGA he said "everyone here is trying to take off at the same time" so we'd be delayed by 30 min. Not once was there a mention of any other reason. By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals."

AA gates D7-D9 at San Juan are straight out of the original Home Alone movie. Every time the pilot said something should a few minutes, it took about twenty minutes instead."

Cons: "AA first delayed the flight, then delayed it again, then cancelled it. While their automatic message said they would reschedule my trip and call me with the new information, having relied on this before only to receive a recorded message two hours later saying they could not reschedule and asking me to call them, I called them right away - only to spend 90 minutes on hold. Then the AA agent tried to book me on two flights that ultimately did not have seats. Finally she booked me on a flight that was 24 hours later--and when I got to the airport, I had to spend another 20 minutes at the counter because, according the counter person, the AA agent did not get the details right. AA cancelled my flight and yet all other airlines kept flying. This is the third time I have flown AA and the third time that they have cancelled my flight and delayed my trip home by 24 hours or more. I've lost three days of vacation due to AA. I will not fly them any more."

We were originally supposed to fly to San Juan, but due to all the flight cancelations & delays, we would have missed our cruise ship, so AA flew us to St. Thomas to catch up with our ship. Agents, pilots, flight attendants were all in a good mood in spite of all the stress from problems created from the storm."
Cons: "Very tight quarters on some of the flights. A few of the newer planes had more leg room which was appreciated. I understand there will be some free wifi & a few free snacks in the near future. I hope that is true because sometimes it is hard to have enough time to grab a sandwich between flights. Free Wifi and/or movies would not only help parents trying to entertain their kids, but I think all of us passengers would be in a much better mood if we could have something to watch to distract us from the tight quarters. One of my favorite suitcases was ruined, but AA has offered to repair or replace it."

Once in board we find out that they can't take off because they need to fix the "entertainment system" but apparently they sent the wrong technician who didn't know how to fix it and had to wait for the right one. I'm not even sure what had to be fixed since there wasn't even any entertainment offered after they fixed it. Once we arrived there were about 100 bags sitting in the bag claim and an equal number of people standing around waiting for bags. None of which was associated with our flight. Then it took forever to get the luggage out for our flight."

I was told there were no more flights to DC until Saturday, which was totally unacceptable for me. I got on standby to a flight to Philadelphia but had to rent a $220 rental car in order to get home at a reasonable time."

Cons: "On the flight back home, AA cancelled my connecting flight, and did not bother to notify me, even though I have my account set up for them to notify me of flight changes. If not for the Kayak app on my phone, I would have flown to an airport where I may well have been stranded for hours, if not the following day, for a flight that no longer existed, since I had already checked-in on-line and would have gone directly to my first flight. Thanks to flight status monitoring by Kayak, I got an email from Kayak telling me that the flight was cancelled before I left for the airport so that I could go to an AA desk. They were particularly unhelpful and uninformed, and it was only sheer luck that I was able to get on the first flight I was on stand-by. I know this sounds like a commercial, but put the Kayak app on your smartphone and don't travel without it. AA will quite happily leave you stranded without it!"

Cons: "Now that American has completed their takeover of US Air, they have downgraded the planes on the CHS/DCA route to crappy little Canadair regional jets. Boarding/disembarking at DCA is via bus at the dreaded cattlecar gate 35X. What was a pleasant flight experience on US Air is now something to dread. Fortunately, Jet Blue also flies this route with full size planes and boarding gates."

Pros: "The flight itself was uneventful, but I was extremely dissatisfied having to reschedule 2 flights on very short notice"
Cons: "I had a 3 leg trip: Seattle to NY to DC to Seattle. First my early morning non-stop flight from Seattle to NY was cancelled around 5 PM the previous day. I was able to get on another flight with one stop and was stuck in middle seats for both flights - although I had paid for a premium seat on the nonstop flight that was cancelled. Then I got notified around noon that my 5:15 PM flight from NY to DC that day was cancelled. American left me a voice mail that they had automatically rebooked me for the following day without checking to see if that worked for me - despite that fact that they had other same day flights available! I was able to rearrange my schedule and get on an earlier flight - but was extremely unhappy with the short notice, and their assumption that I would be fine getting in the next day!"

Cons: "Cannot get seat assignments on line. "Sorry!" says the message. Late take-off from BDL. Gate attendant doesn't like answering questions and could be friendlier. Having to check roller planeside. Would prefer a larger plane. Plane could have been cleaner. Delay at DCA while waiting for jetway. Couldn't robots move the jetways to the planes?"

Cons: "Overall the flight was great. I was carrying a suit in a hanging bag and asked the flight attendant in first class if there was a place I could hang it. She politely offered to hang it behind the last row of first class since none were in use. When getting off the plane, I grabbed my bag as I walked off and the other flight attendant said "you can't put your bag there, it isn't for you" to which I replied that I was told I could use the hanger. She then said "well you shouldn't have been given permission, and don't do it again, it isn't for you." The tone was a bit rude, and maybe the consistency should be reviewed."

Pros: "I didn't fly American to Melbourne. I flew American to LA then flew Qantas to Melbourne. I would never fly and American owned are line to Australia again. They are just not as good at it as Qantas"

Cons: "Free food. This was a three hour and 55 minute flight. You could at least give a sandwich. I don’t fly often but, I was with a group of us. I take snacks everywhere I go so I was not humbug it would have been nice."

Cons: "I had to go on my trip a few days later due to a work conflict. I never changed my itinerary because I didn’t think it mattered. I bought a new one way ticket on a different airline and went to get on my return flight that I had paid for and was still receiving emails about. I got to the airport to check in for my return flight and it had been canceled because I didn’t get on the first leg. I was never notified and they couldn’t get me on the flight I wanted because it was leaving in less than hour(which is a stupid rule). And to get me on a flight the next day would cost $2500. No thanks. And before anyone tells me that it’s in the fine print that they cancel a flight if you don’t show up, save it. We all know people don’t read all that. Be a human being. So if your plans change, make sure you officially change your plans, because they may go above, but probably not beyond. Oh and it took quite a long time for them to figure out what happened. If they had realized and I didn’t spend so much time on the phone with customer service, I might’ve been outside the hour window requirement."

Floors in the bathroom were consistently wet because the sink is too small for people to wash their hands. -Two bathrooms for the majority of the passengers on the plane is just not enough and you know it. It's pretty uncivilized. It creates a line at the back of the plane covering at least 5 rows. Then, your aisles are too narrow. So we have to rub our bodies up against each other to let people squeeze through. -I think you guys could do better than one tiny bag of pretzel mix for a 5 hour flight. -Let's get upper management flying in economy across the country and see what they would change."

But they refused to take us on board saying t was too late, as a result: They sent us with the next flight to Chicago instead of Washington DC. My whole schedule was messed up as i had to fly through Chicago. My luggage was lost and i only received it 2 days later. Will file the complaint."

And so when I missed my SAS connection because of my delayed United connecting flight, nobody cared and nobody can assure me I'll ever get reimbursed. United said called SAS. SAS said call the travel agency... and on and on it went."

After so many hours they’re required to give a 50 dollar voucher but failed to do so. After not sleeping for multiple nights due to my situation I did not arrive into DC till 1am and had to drive multiple hours home in the middle of the night which was a major safety hazard. Frontier did not offer to compensate a hotel or anything for the inconvenice. Extremely disappointed in the horrendous service provided by the airline in this nightmare scenario"

When the plane arrived at Dulles, there was a wheelchair waiting for me at the door of the plane-a first in many flights. I am grateful for the Frontier staff's consideration and assistance."

I am a bit perplexed, however, at the seat charge. I am handicapped and must sit in an aisle seat where I can stretch out my leg to some degree. I was told that because I am handicapped I do not have to pay for a special seat, but every time fly Frontier, I have had to pay to get an aisle seat. What do I have to do to get the necessary seating without charge other than sit wherever they place me and chance a circulatory episode?"

I am attending a dental seminar in a sweater and jeans. My bag got delayed another day and was only given another 50$ but I have to spend 200$ to get a 100$. I had no toiletiries, dress clothes, socks, and underwear. I asked for 150$ voucher and was denied. Also if I could a get free bag check on the return trip. Also denied. I expected a little more customer service when bags are lost."

Cons: "Rude staff. Wouldn't let me board because I was late from traffic even though myself and others stood at the ticket counter waiting for a representitive to show up. Completely unaccommadating and when I asked about how to get another flight he handed me a paper with a number. I called and it was a recording. No money back no help and rude comments. Found a return flight through American. The first flight had polite flight attendants though"

Cons: "Bate and switch Internet fares. Confusing baggage fees i.e The definition of carry on baggage. Confusing seating fees. Misleading prices. Web site times out before seating and baggage fees can be determined. I will be more careful comparing Frontier prices for future flights and will advise family and friends to do the same."

Cons: "I do not fly a lot but in my experience in comparison to Delta, US airways and American Airlines, these seats were more cramped and much less comfortable. They were solid plastic with little padding. I've never seen an airline charge for a carry on bag. This is extreme considering some airlines still find ways to check bags for free. Finally, I am very claustrophobic and can not risk being put in a middle seat. I also am not very comfortable with a window seat either. The fact that I had to pay $10+ each way to ensure comfort which I can choose for free on any other airline was frustrating. These three items will keep me from flying this airline again."

Charging for carry on was annoying, but charging for everything, INCLUDING a cup of water is bs. Replacing uncomfortable seats that at least occasionally had a TV in the back of them, with uncomfortable without the possible, overpriced, distraction of tv, was the last straw. Appreciate it. Frontier was my go to for cheap, quality, flights. Guess I'll be flying JetBlue from now on."
