Pros: My flight from STX was delayed some 30 minutes. That made a dent in the 57 minutes I had to catch my Delta flight. Naturally we landed at gate A2 and Delta was boarding at Terminal 2 gate B9. Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta.

Cons: Again, Kayak should allow at least 2 hours of transfer time when booking flights through LAX. I had to go from one terminal to another AND go through immigration and security. In order to make sure I had enough time to make the connecting flight, I didn't check in my luggage which lead to me having to minimize liquids and pastes in my luggage (no vanilla extract or tequila). Also while making the transfer I felt rushed and stressed out. I might search for tickets using Kayak but I would not buy tickets directly from Kayak if my route involves a transfer at an airport that I am not familiar with.

Which I can understand. What I don't understand is why they continued displaying a mute TV set for three hours. Why not just shut it off? BTW, my daughter flew from LA to Boston that same day and exactly the same thing happened on her plane.

For some reason they made me check it. because I had to spend time at the baggage claim carousels I almost missed the last train of the night back home. Unlike other carriers, United quickly adapted to the reality on the ground and adjusted their schedules accordingly. No call or email before hand, the had to wait until 2am to change the flight and get a hotel voucher. After that, next day they board the plane and de-board the plane due to mechanical problems. Another night and just a couple of 10 vouchers. She never received an explanation or recompense for loosing part of her trip in the san juan airport. This is the second time ahe has gone thru this in the same year with United. Awful experinece.

Cons: If you need to cancel a flight wit Air Canada or Southwest you will have one year to use the cost of your flight as a credit. You must to be completely sure to fly with United. If you have to cancel, NO refund will be made. I try to change my flight to Canada and they impose a PENALTY of $200 per passenger!! (almost the price of each ticket). So, avoid United, unless you have no other choice.

Cons: I have never flown United before. This being mg first time attempting to, has lead me to believe that I will never choose united airlines. After boarding my early morning flight from San Juan to Houston, all passangers were seated we were at a stand still for 2hrs before being instructed to depart the plane. We were sent back to the service desk for rerouting. This line was also an hour and 1/2 long . Fortunately I was able to transfer to another airline, but this overral experience with United was horrible.

If the airline removes the TV displays expecting customers to use their own devices, they need to ensure the wifi is working. The flight attendants said they could fix the wifi issue. There are no flight specifications for travelers during the flight in Spanish. I asked her about putting a piece of artwork in a bin that had a yellow thing which looked to be a flotation device, and she was sarcastically rude saying it was a raft, and no I can't put anything in there. I watched the attitude with some other guests as well, so realized it wasn't just me, but how snarkily short she was with people about their luggage and such. If you're not enjoying your job, then quit and let someone younger and fresh come on board to create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone.

Pros: I have never flown Frontier. Everything was smooth. Crew was friendly and helpful. Did not purchase food items on plane and there is no entertainment but I knew that booking the flight. I sat in the 3rd row and had a reclining chair and plenty of leg room. Bags checked easily and in baggage claim fairly quickly. Frontier has a new fleet of planes and this plane was very clean and newer. I will fly frontier again. Price is right and great expierence. What more can you ask for?!

Cons: When we got to the airport, we waited over an hour for our luggage as passengers on other flights came and went. I can understand occasional flight issue, but the frustrating part was that there were no Frontier staff nearby for assistance. We were just stuck with no help. And their customer service line is horrible; it takes many many steps to get to an option to speak with a live person, then you get to sit on hold for many many many minutes. Fortunately Southwest Airlines had very helpful and friendly staff nearby to try to help us.

Cons: Me & my wife arrived 3 hours early for our flight. During that time waiting to check our baggage, there were 3 arguments between employees and customers at 3 different times. After checking in and waiting at the terminal for our flight which supposed to leave at 12:55AM was delayed to 3AM. The flight ended up to being cancelled after everyone got in the plane. About 5-15 minutes all passengers was told to exit the plane. There were only one frontier employee who was working at the at the gate after we all exited. This specific employee said the manager had told all other frontier employees to go home. Me and my wife were really upset about this situation. It took a very long time for the employee to deal with all passengers refunds to changing flights. This had affected our flights to MkE because my wife mother was in her death bed to passing away today. The way things were handled during the flight on this day was a horrible experience. We then bought our flights from southwest after all this hectic morning.

Cons: The total cost of the flight is just a fraction of what you’ll pay. The nickel and dime you for everything. $38 for a carrying on, same for a checked bag. It was a quick trip and thought a back pack would be okay to carry on.... nope that’s $38, if you pay ahead of time. They charge more at the gate. When you check in they try to get you to pay anywhere from $9 to $21 to pick a seat. Seats don’t recline either. Flight was also late. You’re better off paying the full fare on another flight than flying Frontier. Never again.

Cons: I paid for front row seats. Flight was delayed 1hr. When we arrived at the gate they told us they had given our seats to other people because we allegedly were late.

Pros: I was almost late and they did everything they could to help me get to my destination including running my drivers license to me, as I was realizing at the security check that I had lost it. Then the crew was second to none and far better than other larger airlines. I'm sure most people know through word of mouth or their own experiences that they are sometimes spread too thin to cater to the customer anymore and this, however, was a fresh change of pace. I rarely take the time to fill reviews out but felt obligated in this case to spread the word through my gratitude. I had recently been laid off and they made sure I got on my flight for a job opportunity I needed. I thought the best part was the $59 ticket with tax but you can't quantify real costumer service like that. Thank you again to everyone at Frontier Airlines!

Cons: I had purchased tickets in December. When I went to check in online, I found out I needed to pay additional for our seats, to check in one bag and for a carry on. Therefore, my additional charges were $178.00. Therefore, I didn't receive the "great fare" I was expecting. Also, Frontier charges an extravagant amount for their food and drink while flying. Everything else was fine. I will definitely do more comparison shopping next time and try to avoid flying Frontier.

Cons: I was shocked to find out that not only did I have to pay for a carry on, I had to pay for a seat. This airline seems reasonable with their fares until you add on all of the extras that should be included. Not a happy traveler.

Cons: ....we had trouble getting our tickets printed with the Kiosk and no one would help they told us to get in line, which was going so slow by the time we were serviced we were 5 minutes late to get our baggage on, they said we could board but not baggage, Our options were to get a flight the next day which has to go to Denver first leaving Phoenix at 5 or so am and getting to Milw around 9 pm so as of right now, we are in a motel waiting for 5 am flight tomorrow. We were not alone 4 others also missed the flight.

Pros: Worst airline ever. Cancelled the flight due to operational issues and had nothing to offer except a flight 4 days later. Total waste of time and money.
Cons: Respectable airlines will offer you something to get to your destination - booked on another airline or at least a hotel if you are stuck. This is not a respectable airline.

Pros: The crew was courteous and we got to our destination early both ways.
Cons: I was charged $60 for carry-on on the way out and $45 on the way back, why the difference? so much for the cheap flight. Also, the chairs didn't recline...was uncomfortable for trying to sleep.

Pros: Initially the cost of the airfare seemed too good to be true....we ended up paying $190 in addition to the cost of the tickets.
Cons: 1.Hidden costs - we have carry on luggage that ALL other airlines are fine with, but when we got to the gate to board they told us they weren't for carry on and had to pay and additional $60/piece($120 total) and threatened that we couldn't board if we didn't pay. Then they allowed us to carry them on and they fit easily in the overhead compartment. 2.Mass confusion boarding on the return flight. There were designated long lines, then other personnel would make changes to the lines confusing everyone even more. 3.We had our bags pre checked, our boarding passes printed the night before (as recommended by the airlines) to expedite the boarding process and we still had to stand in line with the other passengers who had not completed this ahead of time. It did not expedite anything for us. 4.Seats do not recline, very uncomfortable. 5. No vomit bags....we had a very turbulent decent and many people in need of sick bags. Many ended up vomiting into their personal bags!

Cons: The crew was very rude from milwaukee & even in orlando. I had never flown before & they were not very respectful of how I was feeling before & during the flight. I just tried to sleep my way throught it (which was not very successful). Leaving from Orlando was twice the hassle that Milwaukee was. None of the Kiosks were working so everyone that didn't check in online had to check in physically with a crew member. & even those who did check in online had to have their boarding passes reprinted because tsa scanners were not working. so that was another line to stand in. I arrived to the Orlando air port 2 hours before my flight & did not get a resting moment before boarding. I had stood in line for almost an hour when a crew member had said I was in the wrong line & to go to the very left line..there was no line there. there were ropes in a U shape that went no where. so then I had to go all the way back to the end of the line I had already wasted an hour on just to wait longer the second time around. The prices for this flight was not bad until you add all of the fees that came along with it. Will not be flying with Frontier EVER again.

We were supposed to board 4 hours later and didn't make it on the plane till 5 hours later. Then they forgot to get gas so we were stuck on the plane for another 45 minutes. Flight attendants didn't offer food or drink and kept saying everything was for an additional fee. Nothing was provided. I will never fly with frontier again and am seriously concerned about my return flight.

Pros: I fly ALL the time with my Pet in Cabin. This supposed to be our first time with Spirit. Employees refuse to let my dog fly. They said the dog cannot turn around inside the soft sides bag. My dog indeed turn around inside the bag, but sometimes she don’t want or need to do that!! Counter attendants refund my money effective in 7 days. Almost immediately in went to SOUTHWEST, side by side with Spirit counter and quickly buy our tickets to FLL. Thanks to SOUTHWEST we arrive on time.

Pros: It was the most affordable alternative to fly to Dallas. It was a connecting flight and I had no problems catching my connecting flight. The crew was very nice and attentive. The boarding process was organized. The captain keeps you well informed about what to expect during the flight, which I found comforting since flying makes me anxious.
Cons: There was no entertainment available. You need to take something with you (tablet, phone with music, books) Seats don’t recline.

Pros: I decide to fly with Spirit this time because AA were too expensive. Everything was on time. Smooth entrance process to aircraft. I bring my personal item back pack only. They are not so rigorous with bags at the gate. I pay $104 for my one way ticket and $25 for seat 5A. Buy with enough time and better prices. Wonderful State of the Art Terminal at Fort Lauderdale!! All remodeled.

They jeot saying that the crew at the connection was aware lthat we were a few minutes behind. But after traversing half a building in construction I found a lady closing the still-open gate just to tell me I couldn’t get in because NOW it eas close. They booked me on a morning flught next day. I paid for a big seat on row 1. They gave me a seat 11 rows back. I want a refund and I’ll never fly Spirit ever again.

Cons: Although weather conditions were not Spirit's doing, on the return flight we had to wait in the tarmac for 3 hours to unload and 2 hours to retrieve baggage, we had a very rude crew member that eventually had a passenger return his rudeness with the same. After 2 hours of waiting was when Spirit decided to offer us 3 oz of water and a tiny package of cookie. Thank God for no medical emergency, but they didn't come out and offer actual bottles of water and/or a real snack. Terrible consideration toward the passengers.
