Cons: "flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. Cons: "My daughter was booked on this itinerary and was finishing her last leg of journey. Complete ticket was booked thru Delta Airlines. Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Who is going to bear the loss of money and mental torture that your team has given to me and my daughter???? I have taken this flight several times in the last 2 years and written about this issue but now doubt anybody cares about these comments. To make things worse, my seat would not recline!"

Cons: "The WORST experience of my life. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

Pros: "The flight attendants made the safety briefing extremely lively and personal, a wonderful break from the normal tedious process. The rest of the flight was quiet, uneventful, and pleasant in part due to their good nature. I cannot have gluten or soy, and I was brought a complimentary bag of potato chips that were gluten free - the one and only time this has happened! I hope to fly with this crew again someday."

Cons: "Flight was delayed in taking off, waiting for connecting passengers. Plane was old, which is most Delta planes, but this one showed it. The tray table looked like it was from the 70s or 80s. Flying into Midway instead of O'hare was anticlimactic."
