There was no lights in the cabin for reading!!! My personal screen didn't work. They gave me a ipad after a few hours but the battery had 6% battery and I couldn't figure out how to work it.
Throughout the entire flight I felt uncomfortable to the point when I had a panic attack, which was caused by the clients on board. It is the airlines responsibility to maintain order of the inconsiderate clients. i wish to not deal with such a nightmare flight ever again.
They lost my luggage, and ruined my trip, Customer service doesn't pick up the phone

For obvious reasons security is tight. However, they do not warn you sufficiently about the screening and security process. It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members.
Just happy to be on any flight back to LAX. Once on the plane, Hainan was good and I would fly them again.

Excellent crew, clear announcements in both English and Chinese, decent food and entertainment.
Hectic boarding process that required taking a bus and everyone pushing and shoving to board the plane in no particular order. Stayed on the tarmac for 2 hours before taking off and did not recieve frequent updates. When the seat in front of you is fully reclined you have essentially zero space.

Food was terrible, inedible actually. It is not because I dont like chinese food... I have spent months (on multiple occasions) traveling the country and love the food, even the weird stuff. Thank God my wife and I always come prepared with snacks when we travel.

waiting lines to get into the gates and passport checks for departure. it was too long and mis-leading since the machines were not working eventually had to go to a manual check (not machine) and almost missed the flight. It's bad management of the Ben Gurion Airport.
We arrived to Amman safely
Some of the passengers are men from Saudi Arabia and they cannot be next to a woman. The flight attendant was very accommodating to those passengers.
Seats were comfortable, crew was attentive and smooth takeoff and landing
Food was low quality
They did not offer snacks nor drinks in between the first meal and the last meal ,which was a duration of 8 hours in between.
Having to pay for tea, coffee and water is outrageous Flight late.
Boarding process was very orderly. The 2-4-2 seating arrangement is quite nice for economy as it is a bit more spacious & comfortable. Sat in window seat with a huge compartment storage next to me by window - great for easy access to electronics, etc.. Great movie selection. Short and efficient flight and my fears about basic economy ticket were dissipated as I was able to check a bag and get better seat assignment at airport.
Slow service, not served dinner until almost 10pm. Lights were never turned down so difficult to sleep altho I had eye mask and noise cancelling headphones. Seats are not super comfortable but if you bring neck pillow and blanket it’s better.
Space is very tight with BA A380 2-3-2 biz class.

New booking system where you cannot select seats without paying more money is outrageous. Will fly Virgin next time. Seats did not recline Flight left three hours late. Nearly missed connection. Very stressful experience

Simple morning flight. Not at all full. Left on time, arrived early. Plane was new. Crew was happy. What more does one need? They were beta testing a new WiFi service. Free, but not yet ready for prime time.

Flight attendants completely unresponsive when overhead space was filled by a lot of backpacks that supposed to go under seats. Also, kept selling alcohol to people who were clearly drunk and were obnoxious and loud the whole trip.
Delayed, poor info, no snacks, not even water. Lady at gate was rude. And unpleasant. Nobody kept us informed correctly and when we asked we were treated unkindly. Horrible experience with AA. Will avoid
Addis Airport is a NIGHTMARE!!! It took two hours to check in and the lines were insane. It was absolute chaos, people pushing and airport staff did little to manage it. We almost missed our flight because the lines and process was so disorganized. The plane ride - the plane was old. My seat was so old, the cushion was worn down to the point of feeling like a bucket seat. This was really bad...
The flight from Newark to Abidjan was pretty comfortable and smooth
Once in Abidjan, it became a mess. First we were left waiting for over an hour without any explanation. Then we were told that we had to retrieve our baggage and then recheck them. Hardly anyone spoke English so that was a long and confusing ordeal.

There was nothing to like about Iberia
I paid extra to book early so I could be assure of a seat with a view and so I could sit with my husband. Iberia charged my credit card 55.00 for the service and then, without my knowledge Iberia changed my seats and denied charging me extra. I have papers to prove my claim and will dispute the charges with my credit card company. The communication between flight attendants and passengers was horrible. Those of us who had not eaten yet (about half the plane in economy seating) watched the flight attendants bring out extra bread to all of the other economy passengers who had already received their meals, while we, who had not eaten yet, watched. My husband inquired if we were also receiving meals. He was told that everyone would eventually receive a meal. Horrible customer service, the worst ever. Later, before landing the pilot cancelled beverage and snack service because of possible weather conditions but never put the seat belt sign on until we began our decent. Nothing made any sense. It was like a crazy person was in charge. I would not trust Iberia to take me anywhere in the future.

Food was horribly salty. I got the middle seat between 2 men. One of the attendant s was taunting most of the people who asked him for anything.

Three hour delay, endless gate changes and basically no information shared as to what was causing all the problems. Don't think I'll use Air Canada again if they can be avoided.
Smooth flight, mostly friendly staff, good food
We paid extra for seats with additional leg room and knowing the first row of these is at a wall with no room for feet with legs extended, we requested a different row. We did not get this though we were told we did AND paid for it.
A lot of empty seats so room for sleeping and good choice of movies.
No information about the delay, no vaucher not excuses. Crew non existent during the flight compared to Asian airlines. Food was so so and not the greatest way to come home.
The service on our flight was absolutely amazing, the food was surprisingly great, and the long ride was as comfortable as it could have been in an economy booking.
My entertainment pad malfunctioned the whole time, even after it was reset. Thankfully I had enough things to keep me busy on my own, but it still would have been nice to have.

temperature during flight. Freezing then hot, freezing then hot and never a comfortable temp. Food was terrible. Entrees were flavorless and smelled terrible. Time they served food made no sense at all either. Within the hour of getting on the plane, they served a meal which made no sense because most folks ate before getting on the plane. Stewardesses were not friendly (only 1 made me feel valued and welcomed)
There was no rhyme nor reason for who boarded first
Ground staff was organized, efficient and polite. Breakfast in economy was very good and flavorful.
Flight attendants were efficient; but not particularly friendly. No offer of water in t the middle of a long flight.

Missed connection from LHR to INV, now sitting 8 hours at LHR waiting for the next flight. In a word, a disaster!
Getting our bags through on a tight connection - great job Staff were helpful in finding a safe place for my bassoon.
inability to select seats without having to pay vast extra amounts of money is totally unacceptable. Ended up initially separated from my daughter and then on seats that did not recline.
