1) They left our luggage at Brussels, the lost and found desk in Venice that handles Brussels airlines was unmanned. Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves.
Terrible. Long delays caused me to miss connecting flight and a wedding. Lufthansa decided 12 hours of my day and the missed ceremony was worth a 5 euro voucher... Never flying german again.

Terribly delayed, they could do better informing people about why we got so many hours delayed. When we got to Shanhai there was not HAinan support at all for the lodging the airline provides for the connection.
Just happy to be on any flight back to LAX. Once on the plane, Hainan was good and I would fly them again.
Flight to SFO landed 7 min late. Wouldn’t let us on connecting flight to MRY. We were put on a land shuttle to MRY and now I’m car sick. Horrible day!

Ease of boarding and good communication from pilot
Flight attendant was gruff when communicating. She seemed angry when providing information. It was a short flight, so not a lot was offered, which was totally fine. However, when she walked down the isle with water, she appeared to be looking at the ceiling and didn’t stop to check if many people wanted water, including me.
It got us to London. My bags were quickly available.
The seats were SO. UNCOMFORTABLE. I didn't sleep at all and have a headache because of them. Absolutely atrocious. The food was meh. One of the flight attendants was so rude I dreaded every time she headed over. I'll be flying with Delta in the future.

First class flying is gone. No lounge access in the US. No meal (boarding at 1720 and arriving 2100) Beverage service the same in front as in back. Need to go back to Asia to get what you pay for.
There was a good selection of very different movies to watch. I found four that I wanted to see.
There were not enough chairs in the waiting area. There was a long wait, first, just to get on the plane, then, instead of letting us stay in the waiting area, we were all seated, and left waiting for at least an hour, most of that time without explanation, sitting in a stifling plane at the gate, without being allowed to get up and move around. Also, the ratio of carbohydrates to protein in the main meal was way out of kilter. I don't want rice + potatoes + bread + crackers all in one meal, with zero vegetables. The tiny piece of cheese helped.
Two seats next to me were free!!! Food was good!

The crew are working really hard to make do with what they have. Exceptional service almost makes up for the dated fleet.

Nice staff, very accommodating to the fact that we were late and missing connections. The ground staff in baltimore were communicative and really nice about the delay. The ground staff in london were super on top of it, handing us a new boarding pass as soon as we landed given that we missed our connection.
The back of the plane is just SO cramped. Seems humane to take out a seat in that back section. The food was pretty dry. Would have appreciated a bit more explanation of options. I didn't watch any movies - just tried to sleep. We took off three hours late. It's surprising to me that none of the BA staff spoke italian. Would have been helpful for the missed connections as I ended up stumbling through some spanish to help an older italian couple who didn't speak any english. it was surprising how little translation there was!
Flight was delayed. Poor food offerings, no entertainment, minimal leg room, rushed and cramped boarding process.

They had no accommodations for our baby, and didn’t let us board first. It was an old plane with basic entertainment, TVs above the middle row and not all do them worked. It was particularly freezing on board. Some of the crew was nice but overall not very friendly or welcoming.

Some of the passengers are men from Saudi Arabia and they cannot be next to a woman. The flight attendant was very accommodating to those passengers.

waiting lines to get into the gates and passport checks for departure. it was too long and mis-leading since the machines were not working eventually had to go to a manual check (not machine) and almost missed the flight. It's bad management of the Ben Gurion Airport.
Clean airport and airline. I was on the new Dreamliner. Book business you don’t want to be in the back.
For obvious reasons security is tight. However, they do not warn you sufficiently about the screening and security process. It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members.
Boarding was quick, flight left on time and arrived earlier than schedule, seats were comfortable.

The food and beverage service in Coach was great as usual ... The new 777 ER 300 was really a nice improvement over the aging Airbus planes previously flown Entertainment systems in coach were top notch with great entertainment choices to view ...
3 4 3 seating results in very narrow isles ... during the longer flights on the 777 the isle seated passengers lean into the isles making going to and from the restrooms in ( coach) a bit of an obstacle course

Boarding delay due to mechanical problem. Line to board was more like a mass of people trying to squeeze through all at once and surprisingly disorganized. Somehow managed to board quickly, though.
The transfer was too complicated, long distance to walk, security check line, not enough time for transfer, had to run to catch the next flight
The food wasn’t good and it would be great if they had pasta or some vegetarian option.

There were no menu options for vegetarians on either meal. Several screens were not working, despite multiple reboot attempts.

The food was very cheap, we had no choice for a better offer. We were hungry and had to eat.... The seats were changed at the last minute, we were very upset!!! We did our confirmation on line and get our seats assigned. When we got to the airport we were surprised that they changed them.

Efficient, on time, and the experienced air crew did well with a wicked wind shear at takeoff.

Staff was pretty helpful and you could mostly get what you needed if you didn't mind going back to the galley for it.
Boarding was literally unsafe (too many people going down an escalator into too small an area). Terribly bland food. Buttons on the seat rest too easy to push accidentally (for things like the light or to call a flight attendant).
Cheap. Good for connections in Africa.
Boarding was slow. The food is the worst I've had on an international flight. Flight crew is often not responsive and brusque. The recline on my wife's seat was broken.

Although we had abou an hour delay, we arrived only thirty minutes after the scheduled time. The flight crew was very nice and friendly.
The touchscreen did not work very well; was only able I o see one movie but is was an overnight flight so it wasn’t too much at a hassle.
Crew arranged to change seats so my left leg had an aisle.
Boarding by groups was not followed, no one to control them, just a rush to gate. No discipline by Iberia. Reserved a seat on aisle of 3 seats side section so my left leg could stretch out after surgery but they changed aircraft type w/ only 2 seats on side without notification, so my right leg had the aisle.

The crew on board seemed efficient and friendl for this short 2.5 hour flight.
No food, no drink, no entertainment were included with this fare. Thankfully we were so exhausted from the long haul flight immediate preceding this flight that we did not care. I'm not sure why but the gate staff was trying to get everyone to check their smaller bags including our backpacks. My husband gave in but I did not since not having them would be disaster during this trip. His backpack and many bags from other customers came about 15 minutes after the rest of the luggage so we were a little panicked. Thankfully all turned out fine.

They pack biz seats in 7 across. Most airlines go with 6 across. Lack of space and they charge the same as other airlines. Low value for the money charged. Much better value using if you use any other airline.

The flight attendants were very nice.
1. There was no organization when boarding. It was chaotic. 2. For some reason, everyone appeared to have a difficult time finding overhead room for their luggage. 3. The attendants are used more as sale‘s people than attendants. The items they were selling included candy, spirits, and cartons of cigarettes. 4. They only offer two free movies, a few tv episodes, and music. 5. They serve you food twice. No snacks. No alcohol.
The boarding was smooth and efficient. We left and landed on time.
One of the flight attendants was crabby and didn't want to provide a drink for my husband and myself, so we just dealt with a different attendant.
Paying extra for Entertainment on a long-haul flight

Seating is very tight even for a petite 5’1” person like me. My boyfriend was 5’8” and he was definitely uncomfortable with the lack of leg space. If the passengers in front of you decided to put their seats back? You’ve lost even more space and feel closed in. Thankfully the aisle seat next to us was empty so we tried to stretch out a little bit without spilling into the seat entirely. Entertainment was eh. Two movies from the early 2000s (Alvin & the Chipmunks and What happens in Vegas) and an episode of Tom & Jerry and an episode of Modern Family but from Season 5? Not great if you’ve never watched the series.. About their hospitality... My boyfriend and I were completely disregarded and ignored by a stewardess with blonde hair and thick black glasses... Flight: DE2102 that left September 8th from Frankfurt to San Juan. We received our meals from her AFTER she handed meals to the people behind us - this was not the case for other passengers that spoke German, everyone’s meals up until ours was handed in order.. When it was time to pick up the trays she skipped us both times (with our trays ready in our hands to hand to her) - I watched her pick up the trays from the passengers before and after us. My boyfriend did say “Excuse me” but she ignored him - she probably would’ve paid attention if he asked in German.. She even looked at us as she passed by which blew my mind. Her coworker on the other side had to pick up her slack and was very kind enough to pick up our trays even though we weren’t his assigned aisle. It confused me because she was so pleasant with the German passengers but ignored us even when we made eye contact and smile for her attention.. I hate to say this because I give everyone the benefit of the doubt but to be honest I felt discriminated.. My boyfriend is German (speaks fluent German and English) but I felt because of my ethnicity (Asian) he had to suffer for that.. I felt terrible that he was suffering because of me. No one wants that for their significant other or anyone. Another occasion was when another stewardess was handing us our drinks. My boyfriend’s cup was broken and as she passed it over me it spilled all over my shirt. I did gasp from surprise. No apologies whatsoever.. She seemed impatient and grabbed the cup back over only to put another cup under it. I asked for a Sprite but they only had Cola or Fanta so I was totally okay with Cola “Cola bitte”. My German isn’t that great but I did hear her coworker ask why I gasped and she told her that it was because I was surprised they didn’t have Sprite - very untrue. I was shocked and I couldn’t respond. I have never been so disappointed in a flight and the hospitality. I am very forgiving if an incident happens once or twice, but when I see it happen in front of me over and over and over again? That’s where my tolerance unfortunately crumbles. I was on the verge of tears by the end of the flight. I hope I never fly Condor again.
