The view from the plane was ok. The seats were comfortable.

We were the second flight out of Manila, and the plane was 3 hours late. You have to pay for everything on the plane, even water. The terminal had to be 90 degrees.

They let everyone board via the Zone 1 lane, so my wife and I, carrying a 14kg cranky 2 year old, had to line up behind a long queue of others who didn't have to pay the most expensive premium you can pay on an AirAsia flight. Nonsense.

Nice wide seats, well run flight. Lots of food served, though very mixed quality. The unfortunate experiences described in the negatives of this review, do not repeat on the return flight.

In the fine print is the fact that the flight includes a stop in Shenzen. On the outbound flight this was a nightmare experience with Chinese immigration. Exhausted from a 14 hour flight, passengers had their passports taken away; were put through a bizarre 45 minute finger printing process using machines that did not work; and then left to wait for an hour or more with no information. The continuation flight was in another part of the airport - a very long walk; and it turned out not to be at the departing gate that was displayed on the monitors. We arrived at the indicated (wrong) gate with no guidance. Very nearly missed the continuation flight. Once in Xiamen, our arrival was late enough that the second floor of the airport was closed. There were no ATMs on the first floor; no way to get the Chinese cash needed to take a taxi to the airport. Fortunately a kind citizen agreed to exchange some cash, using mental calculations and sign language about the exchange rate.

Xiamen Airlines should be applauded for having a direct flight from LA to Qingdao. But they have a lot to learn about the proper service and materials in business class. Not surprisingly, they have gone for the cheapest way to service the customer. Lot to learn.

I was very sick and contagious and asked for a single person hotel room for the night before a connecting flight. It was not accommodated. It would have cost extra 100-200 yuan. Then when we asked for the shuttle to the hotel, the security at the departures level meant we could not exit and be picked up. No one could arrange pick up at arrivals. Instead we paid for a taxi ourselves. Poor service and coordination, especially considering I could barely talk and just badly needed a rest.

Unforeseen luggage charges that were way too expensive. Would not have flown the airline had I realized they charged for luggage on international flights. The charge was about $150, for the same luggage I brought with me for free on two prior international flights that were part of the same trip, on much better airlines for about the same ticket price. I could have tolerated a charge of $50, but I found $150 to be outrageous. Seats were narrow, legs hit the back of the seat in front. No need for such a configuration, since the flight was only 1/3 full. I won't fly Cebu Pacific again. Congratulations, you lost my business.

On board Staff was great. Made everyone as comfortable as possible.

Agent misquoted me overweight baggage charge by half. The service agent that had to break the news to me was horrified. I paid as much for the bag as the original flight. Seats were very tight. ( I am 6'1") Next time I will fly a regular airline for the same price that I spent. Pay for bag. Pay for insurance pay for food and drink on an international flight. So wrong.

Because of a delayed flight, I missed the check-in by minutes. There was no one there to help me even though YOUR flight was delayed in taking off as well. It seems increasingly the case that flights are delayed and the reservations we pay for are merely suggestions rather than a commitment by the airline. Further, when these things happen there is no compensation. The airline just keeps the money for services not rendered. The Air Asia website doesn't work. The online chat doesn't work. Nothing works from Air Asia. Of the three airlines servicing the Philippines, Cebu Pacific is the worst, followed by Air Asia, and Philippine Airlines being the best.

I BOUGHT ANOTHER TICKET WITH PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, WHICH LEFT LATER, TODAY AND I HAD NO PROBLEM. NO EXCUSES. SO I PAID TWICE FOR A TICKET TO MANILA FROM BANGKOK. THE BIG PROBLEM IS EVEN WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT WAY AHEAD OF TIME, THE CEBU PACIFIC PEOPLE, JUST DO NOT CARE, THEY DO NOT GIVE A DAM. THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF MONEY. AND TIME AND STRESS, THERE IS NO REASON TO NOT LET ME ON THE PLANE. I GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION, THEY NEEDED. THE SAME INFORMATION AS I GAVE PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, THAT I DID FLY WITH. If you almost 180cm and 95 kilos the leg room just not very comftable in economy seats. That why I say just ok for short flight. Then departing Hong Kong 2 trains and a bus to plane once inside airport crazy to find if not expirenced traveler

Nice comfortable seats, friendly staff.

Being nickeled and dimed at every conceivable opportunity. Dial back on the greedy profiteering. Complimentary in-flight (non-alcoholic) drinks would be nice.

On board Staff was great. Made everyone as comfortable as possible.

Agent misquoted me overweight baggage charge by half. The service agent that had to break the news to me was horrified. I paid as much for the bag as the original flight. Seats were very tight. ( I am 6'1") Next time I will fly a regular airline for the same price that I spent. Pay for bag. Pay for insurance pay for food and drink on an international flight. So wrong.

I was very sick and contagious and asked for a single person hotel room for the night before a connecting flight. It was not accommodated. It would have cost extra 100-200 yuan. Then when we asked for the shuttle to the hotel, the security at the departures level meant we could not exit and be picked up. No one could arrange pick up at arrivals. Instead we paid for a taxi ourselves. Poor service and coordination, especially considering I could barely talk and just badly needed a rest.

Nice wide seats, well run flight. Lots of food served, though very mixed quality. The unfortunate experiences described in the negatives of this review, do not repeat on the return flight.

In the fine print is the fact that the flight includes a stop in Shenzen. On the outbound flight this was a nightmare experience with Chinese immigration. Exhausted from a 14 hour flight, passengers had their passports taken away; were put through a bizarre 45 minute finger printing process using machines that did not work; and then left to wait for an hour or more with no information. The continuation flight was in another part of the airport - a very long walk; and it turned out not to be at the departing gate that was displayed on the monitors. We arrived at the indicated (wrong) gate with no guidance. Very nearly missed the continuation flight. Once in Xiamen, our arrival was late enough that the second floor of the airport was closed. There were no ATMs on the first floor; no way to get the Chinese cash needed to take a taxi to the airport. Fortunately a kind citizen agreed to exchange some cash, using mental calculations and sign language about the exchange rate.

The flight crew was kind..really hard working..

I was not informed before hand I needed a visa to enter China..Xiamen international airport does not have transit lounge...so leaving on the 6 December from Lax to Xiamen ..I was denied to fly Xiamen so they scrambled last minute an put me on China southern airlines...upon return from Singapore I had to pay for Chinese visa since I was to return through Xiamen...it was a nightmare

Because of a delayed flight, I missed the check-in by minutes. There was no one there to help me even though YOUR flight was delayed in taking off as well. It seems increasingly the case that flights are delayed and the reservations we pay for are merely suggestions rather than a commitment by the airline. Further, when these things happen there is no compensation. The airline just keeps the money for services not rendered. The Air Asia website doesn't work. The online chat doesn't work. Nothing works from Air Asia. Of the three airlines servicing the Philippines, Cebu Pacific is the worst, followed by Air Asia, and Philippine Airlines being the best.

They let everyone board via the Zone 1 lane, so my wife and I, carrying a 14kg cranky 2 year old, had to line up behind a long queue of others who didn't have to pay the most expensive premium you can pay on an AirAsia flight. Nonsense.

The view from the plane was ok. The seats were comfortable.

We were the second flight out of Manila, and the plane was 3 hours late. You have to pay for everything on the plane, even water. The terminal had to be 90 degrees.

I BOUGHT ANOTHER TICKET WITH PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, WHICH LEFT LATER, TODAY AND I HAD NO PROBLEM. NO EXCUSES. SO I PAID TWICE FOR A TICKET TO MANILA FROM BANGKOK. THE BIG PROBLEM IS EVEN WHEN I GOT TO THE AIRPORT WAY AHEAD OF TIME, THE CEBU PACIFIC PEOPLE, JUST DO NOT CARE, THEY DO NOT GIVE A DAM. THIS HAS COST ME A LOT OF MONEY. AND TIME AND STRESS, THERE IS NO REASON TO NOT LET ME ON THE PLANE. I GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION, THEY NEEDED. THE SAME INFORMATION AS I GAVE PHILIPPINE AIRLINES, THAT I DID FLY WITH. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE HORRIBLE TREATMENT I RECEIVED TODAY.

Kept me well hydrated, supplied tissues that helped me bear a long flight while sick. Early arrival appreciated. Fresh fruit was good.

Crew might have cleared away medications by mistake but they tried hard to find it, inquired all attendants and even looked through the trash. I missed the passing of of declaration forms twice while I was in the bathroom and when we landed the customs people directed me wrong so I had to wait a long time in line to get through customs without water which made me sicker and I had to go to the doctor.

No space for luggage due to lack of enforcement of one carry on policy. Seats are way too close and they lean back, knee was in the seat in front the whole flight. Plane is old and landing was hard.

If you almost 180cm and 95 kilos the leg room just not very comftable in economy seats. That why I say just ok for short flight. Then departing Hong Kong 2 trains and a bus to plane once inside airport crazy to find if not expirenced traveler

While booking I tried to buy luggage allowance. Impossible. Hence at check-in Cebu Pacific unpleasant staff charged me US$55 on top of a $100 fare for my normal suitcase of clothes. The worst theft in my travel history of 110 countries world wide. Shameless greed and extortion once they have your trapped. It gets worse. Due family reasons I needed to fly home a couple days early, having every reason to believe my ticket was flexible. Nowhere did it say otherwise, nor did the booking site warn me. But rudely I was told too bad, zero flexibility. ZERO! They had empty seats on many suitable flights, just wanted to steal my return ticket, simple. Theft. Extortion. The worst imaginable. I went ahead and bought a 2nd return ticket with Philippines Airlines (far far superior airline). My Cebu Pacific seat was zero refund and was sold to someone else I guess. Too bad for Stupid Mr Customer (me) who mistakenly flies Cebu Pacific! NEVER EVER FLY CEBU PACIFIC! This 71-year-old 110-country travel veteran has warned you factually. An utterly disgusting company whose staff indifferently spits in the face of customers, the rudeness is delivered in a could-not-care-less tone followed by a hang up the phone after saying "No way, it's impossible speak to the travel agent for help. good-bye.
