When we landed Hong Kong. The plane to Abu Dhabi had closed boarding. Very unprofessional management from airport crew. Me and other 40 passengers will have to wait for the next flight which could be after two days. I booked Emirates to Dubai and I have taken a decision that neither me or my friends will never never go for the poor Hong Kong airlines.
The customer service relations at the front desk to check in word is awful and unfriendly the flight was uncomfortable the entertainment controller does not work 90% of the time it was just a bad experience flying with you in general

Crew are pleasing on the eye, but they do not appear to be interested in the comfort of the passengers.
Same trip with LAN Sydney to Auckland....free food plus all drinks...Air Asia even a cup of tea came with a price. Similar fares charged by both airlines.
Entertainment a joke! Not one monitor or adapter in cabin!!!
Entertainment system doesn't have a touch screen like other airlines. They give you ear but buds instead of head phones. Alright they gave us headphones for our young son you had to put the foam covers on yourself and they kept coming off. Not a very good selection of movies. Good is bland and not very good options.
Crew was surprised that someone on the flight might not eat pork... They had zero non-pork options. They brought a biscuit/cracker thing. They had to be asked 4 times to bring me water.
The flight was delayed but there was no announcement about how long it might take... nothing.
When the announcements came through the headphones they were ridiculously(!!!) loud. People we ripping the ear buds from their ears but it was never fast enough. It actually blew out the speakers on my headphones. Thanks for breaking my headphones!!
Flight attendants never did anything about the people who were out of their seats after landing. One bag fell out and hit me.
Attentive stagf, but less attentive than previous flight.
1. Couldnt use mobile phone for reading only (mobile phones had to be completely switched off). I wont be flying China Eastern because of this rule.
2. Business class seats where not good (poor adjustment, too far from TV, no window accesible without getting out of seat)
3. Boarding and unboarding on tarmac was inconvenient.
4. Movie selection not up to date
I liked the planes that were used, very comfortable and excellent staff
- I received an e-mail from Kayak which said my flight was CANCELLED. I didn't enjoy having to call the airline company, Kayak, and priceline to find out whether the flight was really cancelled or just delayed.
- The 4 hour delay, which resulted in me missing my last lay over by an hour, which in turn had me waiting at the airport for an additional 8 hours.
