Bag fees not clear and totally unreasonable, no way to check in or check bags online unless you register with their nosy BIG Points. Late by 1.5 hours! Can't get ANYTHING to eat or drink without paying in local currency cash, not even water. Seats squished together and really uncomfortable. Baggage takes a long time to come out. Poor wayfinding at Kuala Lumpur Airport.
Must have been the first time on a real flight for this crew. On the flight from Bangalore to Singapore. They spilled three separate items on me, banged into me continuously, and looked really unhappy. Shocking for this airline.
Great seating for a "double amputee at the hip". You could scratch your nose on the seat in front of you w/o moving. Extra charges make up for any savings in cost of ticket. Last resort airline choice on any future flights.
I was charged $50 dollars for the check-in luggage that I was not happy. I booked the airticket very early so I was not sure the weight of my luggage would be. I get used to have the free check- in luggage
so I forgot about it until I did it at the airport.
I prefer the airline to have the charge including the luggage into the airfare than check how many Kg of luggage the customers take at the airport. This makes the procedure of check-in take more time.
The leg room is deplorable. My knees were continuously hitting the hard seat in front of me and going sideways wasn't even an option. I've never had this happen to me before. I'm a female and 5'9 and this is the least space I've ever had on a flight. So uncomfortable I can't imagine a long flight with this airline, which is good to know because now I will not use them for flying to Malaysia from NYC.
Also both flights were delayed by nearly an hour each.
I liked the A300 used is was in very nice condition and the leg room was reasonable. The cabin crew was above average. The pilots were smooth on take off and landing.
The departure gate announcements in English were hard to understand. The landing jetway was used to disembark, but then we had to use stairs to the tarmac and board a bus to get from the domestic terminal (we were an international flight) to the international terminal. Because of this many passengers, especially the elderly, were unprepared for this situation and their carry on luggage.
The boarding process went well and was organized. The cabin staff was welcoming and very presentable. The seats were fine, even in economy. The uniforms on the cabin staff were attractive andnthey looked well on the girls. The staff, both male and female, were friendly and pleasant. The flight was fine, a little late, but not the fault of the airline. I would fly this airline again.
Entertainment system doesn't have a touch screen like other airlines. They give you ear but buds instead of head phones. Alright they gave us headphones for our young son you had to put the foam covers on yourself and they kept coming off. Not a very good selection of movies. Good is bland and not very good options.
i never had a clue that this would be a 2 stop trip.
its ridiculous to get down at hong kong and then start again.
even while going to blore, had to get down at seoul. its very tiring to do all the checkin and security.
the food was monotonous. i only had okra for 2 of my meals.

Just before boarding they made us throw away the brand new waters we'd just bought in the airport. We couldn't figure out why until we got on board and they tried charging us $4 for a water! Beyond ridiculous.
