Cons: "Jet Blue provided 5 sequential delay messages over an hour. Their inability to better estimate departure is disappointing. The real problem is that delay was caused directly by the airline's incompetence. There were no weather issues, the takeoff spots were available. They simply failed to load snacks. Although there WAS a minor prior delay bc a slightly late plane arrival, we eventually were delayed about an extra hour to supply snacks on a 4-hr flight. Given the ground crew had EXTRA time to load and also considering the tiny set of options offered, this is senseless. Further, b/c they ran out of overhead bins, they offered to GATE check my luggage. This was essentially a lie - they put it with checked bags, unlike the gate checked items I watched others retrieve. The combination of these errors led me to arrive at the car rental desk after closure. This caused me to incur a taxi fare, so spend 30 min or so working out an alternative rental the following day, and then yet ANOTHER cab to the Car Desk to get the car. This is the only time in my hundred or so car rentals anything like this has happened. I will certainly think twice (or more) before booking Jet Blue again."

Then waiting for paperwork followed by the part they needed was incorrect and a new one was on it's way from the hanger.. Finally departed 1 hour plus later. The plane was an old cattle car. Free TV didn't work right, so at did not recline (no it wasn't an exit row.). Most of the crew and gate attendants were rude and indifferent except for on flight attendant. The entire row of seats didn't recline at all. She was very apologetic and acknowledged it was uncomfortable especially on a 5+hour flight. She did offer us something to eat, blankets earbud. Still my back was killing me upon arrival at Phoenix. JEt Blue. Get your act together. This is unacceptable."

I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that."

Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled."

Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues."

Snacks were horrible and I have a delta card and was charged $29 to get in plus a charge for my extra suitcase. It’s ridiculous given the amount of money I spend on m card on the monthly basis. NOT kid friendly. overhead bins didn't fit the standard carry on correctly requiring everyone to place them sideways with wasted space and therefore not enough luggage room for everyone, crowding an already fully booked flight. VA bag weights are less than Delta and the seat was incredibly cramped. We both had to sit with our legs bowed to the side as the seat ahead was so close. For nine hours we were cramped and could not sleep due to only be able to squeeze into one position. To get into the seat I put on leg in and then sat on the armrest and then brought my other leg up and then lowered my but into the seat. I am not even 6 feet tall and had this issue. So due to the difficult online check-in and seat selection and to the cramped seats we will never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

My wife and I were left staring at each other, half in disbelief of what we'd just witnessed. I wished I'd looked for a name badge... would have loved to out someone like that by name. Cayman Airways are hardly the most on time airline, and their planes aren't new. Their whole stick is free checked bags, rum punch and the friendliest staff. They start failing there, and they may as well shut er down."
Pros: "After Caribbean Air the seats feel like bussiness class even in cattle class. The staff are friendly, they (normally) give you an entire can of soda (no snack though - short flight). Seats are comfortable (for economy)."

The worst part was, there was very little update the whole time. At one point we were told there was a technical issue so a new plane was being brought in from Grand Cayman but they time delay kept increasing without an explanation. I understand delays but to have no updates is just inconsiderate. It just seemed like there was no consideration. I will not fly with this airline again."

This was all totaled 2.5 hours on the Tarmac. Finally, some 5 hours late we departed Miami in a different plane. Upon arrival in Phoenix, the captain wearily announced that there was no ground crew awaiting us, so we had to wait some time on the tarmac there to disembark. Never before had I heard a airline captain encourage the passengers to write a letter of complaint to his employer."

Additionally, after our flight schedule was changed, one of our checked bags was lost (left in Toronto instead of continuing on to Istanbul). I checked the bag on Tuesday, and it wasn't found and delivered until Friday, so I went three and a half days without any extra clothes or most of my toiletries. I know airlines (like all businesses) are only interested in money, and I know Air Canada isn't the only airline to do this, so I can't say I'm shocked. But it still boggles the mind how poorly customers can sometimes be treated. We all accept it as a cost of flying, but it's crazy to think that one can buy a ticket without buying a seat on the plane. It's like ordering at a restaurant and being told that, yes, you ordered the food, but you didn't order the dishes to serve the food on, so you're either going to have to wait or pay extra to get plates and utensils. It would be much more honest for the airline to say that your ticket purchases nothing but the *chance* to fly at the scheduled time. At least that would be straightforward."

Cons: "The luggage drop line was terrible. Only few stations were open and they worked incredibly slow. At the Toronto airport, we were made to fill up customs forms even though we were set for international transfers. None of the questions on the form made any sense since we were not entering Canada but rather leaving for other international destinations. Because of this formality, we had to pass another line which took another 30 minutes. Furthermore, they denied me at the counter because my original check in crew was unable to print my second boarding pass for some technical reason. But, there was noone at the customer service desk to print a boarding pass for me. I had to wait another twenty minutes just for this! All of this happened in a "neverland" section of the airport that didn't even have any restrooms! This could really turn into a nightmare scenario."
