This flight was full with many families with small children. The parents exercised almost no control over their rambunctious children. A gentlemen in my row turned around to request that the children seated behind him not bang and bump the back of his seat. After 3 such requests a fight almost broke out between adults. I’ve never experienced anything quite like this on a flight. I myself got no rest on the 3 hr flight to Cairns.
Gate crew gave us extra seats to spread out and flight was around comfortable. Really enjoyed in-flight TV options
We normally love to check prices on KAYAK and then book directly through airlines which we thought we were doing in this incident. But after we booked we realized a third-party website – Webjet- would be handling our tickets which resulted in many problems. We ended up needing to change our itinerary in a simple way that would’ve been easy to do through the airline but webjet would not accommodate without spending $2500 in ticket fees. To avoid that we had to book additional tickets and take an additional flight that ended up being cheaper but quite the hassle that took way longer
Flight canceled after luggage gone spent bight hotel arrive later than they said next day and missed connecting
In Sydney spent another night in hotel missed fathers 87th birthday. Promised no fees to change return ticket told it was in file and to just call the was no record of that promise when I called overall horrible experience
-Professional, clean. Staff seemed happy to be there. -Use of both front and rear boarding allows for faster departure.
-Need clearer instructions or a crew member to direct passengers to front or back of plane. -In flight entertainment depends on predownload of an app.
When my passport was renewed, for whatever reason my visa didn’t update. The person at the gate offered to help with the renewal — or said I could do it myself. Since it came down to part of the boarding process, I had her do it. It took about two minutes and she charged me $20 extra for the $20 visa. Your strength is supposed to be customer service. Really? On the plane, the seat bottom had nearly no padding for a 14-hour flight. I sat on the small provided sleeping pillow part of the way.
