clean. Seat covers nice and clean. furniture color scheme pleasant.
1. Seat distance by far too less.
2. seat width on the borderline of being acceptable.
3.. No entertainment, not even a flight info screen available.
4. Only instant coffee available. If it is instant, cappuccino or other café specialities should be available. Emirates and Etihad make the example.
5. Food okay - but not for french airline. No innovation, no thought in it. Standard "how do I get the cattle fed the cheapest possible" food.
6. Electrical / USB / Network plugs or WIFI unknown.
Ethiopian Airlines need to get themselves better organised for how they line people up for boarding and make it clearer in the airport where people need to go and when; we headed to the gate waaaaay too early; very uncomfortable seating at gate 1 area.
Where are the movie screens for such a long flight???? 6 1/2 hours of a screaming baby makes for a very uncomfortable journey - also TURN OFF the lights sooner; when people are leaving at 1am; they aren't worried about seeing inside the cabin; they want to be sleeping!!!!
The crew was exceptional: friendly and professional.
The seat was really small and I am 5.1ft. The screen was bigger than other flight companies but when the passenger in front of me put down the seat I wasn't able to watch the video comfortably.
The entertainment sistem was a little bit old.
I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others.
If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable.
The Amsterdam airport is super disorganized, with rude employees great at making excuses for their incompetence.
The boarding crew really struggled to organized the boarding and wouldn't really care about people's status. We had to take a bus to the airplane, and even though both plane's entrances were open, they sent everybody to the front entrance.
The comfort of the plane was horrendous, with seats over 20 years old and their business class was the same as the coach, but with no one sitting in the middle (can you get any lower than this?)
The flight attendant woke me up to shove a food tray that I didn't want.
We had to wait over 45 minutes after the plane landing to start seeing some luggage show up on the conveyor bell.
The overall flight experience make southwest look like a luxury airline. This was my first and last time flying on KLM.
Upon check-in at the airport, found Swiss Air switched our seats that were confirmed. They gave us excuses that were different each time we spoke with someone, and they didn't care to put the effort out to do anything about it. There customer service was less than satisfactory.
The only thing working for these people is the food on the plane. That's about it.
Staff was extremely rude, no internet access, the tv and remote are old and very poorly kept.
If you don't arrange your dishes after you eat to the staff's liking --- you will get one of the worst attitudes possible which is just unacceptable. Unfortunately this attitude transfers to the airport staff in Zurich so I was not too shocked on the plane. However, they should learn a thing or two from the Lufthansa employees. They are a long way from being professional.
Movie selection was good. Ice cream and chocolate were good.
Connection was tight, had to run to the gate
Should have served a 2nd full hot meal since flight was 12 hrs (flew in another airline for only 10 hrs and 2 full meal were served )
Didn't have enough stock of chocolates for duty free sales
Flight attendants didn't offer water as often as they should have since it was a long flight (just comparing to other airlines)
Our flight was delayed 5 hours. No one offered us anything. On top of that they lied about why the plane was delayed. Told us two different stories. We sat in the airport with no Swiss staff anywhere in site. Every check in desk was empty. Once boarded, My tv on my chair was broken. I asked 7 different times to have it reset. Never happened and no one ever came to check on me. The food was awful. We would like someone at Swiss to contact us with some type of refund for our troubles. Our names are danny roman and Bryan Feld.

At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
