The line to pickup vehicle was ridiculously long and slow. It took approximately two hours waiting in line to pick up a car. The attendant was very nice and professional. It obviously was not his fault, but Budget must do a better job with staffing and expanding their Fastbreak self pickup service to improve. I am a Budget Fastbreak member, but could not use the service. Why? Kayak should work with Budget to include this option.Reviewed Feb 6 2024

Our reservation was placed 6 months prior to the actual use and the vehicle chosen at the time of the reservation was not available. Not only was that frustrating but it took approximately 45 minutes to get a replacement vehicle. The customer service representative was very friendly and considerate, and the vehicle was clean and the vehicle options (cruise control, infotainment center, etc.) was very nice.Reviewed Nov 17 2023

The pickup agent was very rude and insistent. He told me the car was a compact car and “very very small” in an attempt to get me to upgrade. In reality, it was an average size 4 door sedan. I did not appreciate his pushiness or lies. He also tried to guilt trip me into buying their insurance when I already had purchased rental car insurance. Once again, he was very pushy and tried to scare me into purchasing it by telling me about how bad it would be if there was any damage to the car. However, the car was great and worked perfectly for us for our trip. I appreciated how easy the return was at the airport.Reviewed Oct 28 2022

I reserved a “mid sized” car. I did not see anywhere on the reservation that it was a Tesla. When I got to the Budget rental agency, I was forced to pay an up charge for the vehicle since it was reserved as a “Tesla” which was the vehicle rated on special for that reservation.
