We were misled into taking an EV even though we had booked a gasoline car. And this is inspite of them knowing we would be traveling from SF to LA as car drop was at LA. We also pointed out our route including Yosemite. They told us we needn't worry as the car goes from 0-80% charging in 15 min on a fast charger. We struggled across the 7 days as charging was slow and the range on full charge was only 140 miles on the Subaru. Very unethical and misleading team at this branch.

I liked the convenient and efficient process of getting my car. My return flight was very early and I also appreciated the convenience of dropping the key in the return box. The car I rented was a Toyota RAV4 and it was wonderful!!! Car was clean and running well.

I would like to see larger cars with more room for luggage. That’s the only concern. But, one of your professional employees made a pertinent point with respect to the small roads in Europe in general and also about the potential taxes on the vehicles that are imposed by various governments in the EU. All in all, I had no issues with the car.

Do NOT use this rental company/location. I wish I had taken the other bad reviews seriously but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and given Budget is a global company, I figured it would be fine. I booked a compact SUV for a week starting 5/30 with a pickup time of 11pm. Our flight was diverted to Nicaragua due to bad weather so we were late in landing. I was at the desk by 1:15am. While in Nicaragua, I called Budget via phone and was told that the location had been made aware of the diversion and delay and that I have 24 hours to pick up my car. I was assured that there was no issue at all in my delay. Additionally, I spoke with a chat representative online who was able to confirm with the the local team that my car would be 100% held until 2am. When I arrived at the desk, the representative told me that they had already given my car away as they waited any hour for me to arrive. I tried to explain the above and the gentlemen was completely unhelpful, only offering me a pickup truck after much back and forth. However, he was going to charge me an additional $700 for the truck. There was another passenger behind me who was also on my flight who's car had been given away as well. I eventually walked down to a different counter and was able to secure a last minute car with a lovely gentlemen. I truly encourage everyone to stay away from this place. They left me stranded at the airport at 1:30am with no options and couldn't even have bothered to apologize.

The price, vehicle cleaniness, staff and check in and out was EXCELLENT!!! I kept the car an extra 2 days, the process was easy and convenient. I also appreciated the due back reminders. I will definitely use again

The rental location is terrible. It's a small office on a shady strip. The cars are on the roof of adjacent parking deck. The Guys who work there are really nice but the car was shady. It had no window fluid, it was a screech every time you turn. The back seat headrest didn't work. The list goes on... Just pay the extra money and go to a reputable place. This place is below low budget. Never again!

Pros:

I got a call before I even left home airport that there was not a car available for me due to overbooking. So I didn’t like anything about the experience. It was expensive to Uber. And not available at the times i needed. Manager offered to pay for some Uber trips. Really wrecked this trip. No other cars were available for less than $599/day.

Cons:

They could have had a car for me since I made a reservation and counted on it. They should have gotten a car from competitor and paid for the difference in price.

We booked a car in Poland, we traveled there 50 hours and when we arrived they didn't give the car to us. They said the reason is that we didn't have a credit card. Good that they informed us before haha. We were in a very bad position because of that.

Pick up. It was a hassle. I was prepaid, but they wouldn’t accept my credit card because it was under my former name. I had to go get my marriage certificate to prove it was me even though I was prepaid. They wouldn’t accept a debit card. It was very inconvenient and made me feel like a fraud when I wasn’t!

Dropped the car off with a full tank of gas and they logged it in as empty! Hertz then charged me over $200 for a tank of gas ($9.99 a gallon!). Careless and another waste of my time.

Cons:

Flew into Bozeman, paid for the upgrade for Jeep Cherokee or equivalent knowing we were going into Yellowstone national park. They gave us a Dodge Journey which is a minivan without the sliding door. Since the park got nearly 1' of snow we almost got stuck several time in pull offs or in parking lots because it had almost no ground clearance. That vehicle is not the equivalent of a jeep. Not good...

The customer service was excellent at Bozeman, MT. Friendly and accessible. No extra charges for BS. They called me before my trip and arranged a shuttle, and patiently waited as the baggage claim was delayed by 45 minutes.

Pros:

One rental good the other not so much. Same rate for both rentals, but absolutely not equal vehicles. Ace needs to reevaluate.

Cons:

We rented two vehicles. Both were charged the same rate. One a Chevy Suburban the other a Ford Expedition. No comparison. The Ford was not equal and should never have been the same rate. The Suburban had video, auto tailgate lift and other features.

Car had 50000 miles on it and showed the wear. We rented two vehicles and received this one the Ford Expedition. And a suburban. There was no comparison in features of the expedition and the suburban the ford was far inferior

Cons:

Not pleased with the one of the two vehicles. The ford was no where equal in features and size. Very disappointed that the cost was the same for both. Definitely not a good deal.
