I would like to see larger cars with more room for luggage. That’s the only concern. But, one of your professional employees made a pertinent point with respect to the small roads in Europe in general and also about the potential taxes on the vehicles that are imposed by various governments in the EU. All in all, I had no issues with the car.

Do NOT use this rental company/location. I wish I had taken the other bad reviews seriously but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and given Budget is a global company, I figured it would be fine. I booked a compact SUV for a week starting 5/30 with a pickup time of 11pm. Our flight was diverted to Nicaragua due to bad weather so we were late in landing. I was at the desk by 1:15am. While in Nicaragua, I called Budget via phone and was told that the location had been made aware of the diversion and delay and that I have 24 hours to pick up my car. I was assured that there was no issue at all in my delay. Additionally, I spoke with a chat representative online who was able to confirm with the the local team that my car would be 100% held until 2am. When I arrived at the desk, the representative told me that they had already given my car away as they waited any hour for me to arrive. I tried to explain the above and the gentlemen was completely unhelpful, only offering me a pickup truck after much back and forth. However, he was going to charge me an additional $700 for the truck. There was another passenger behind me who was also on my flight who's car had been given away as well. I eventually walked down to a different counter and was able to secure a last minute car with a lovely gentlemen. I truly encourage everyone to stay away from this place. They left me stranded at the airport at 1:30am with no options and couldn't even have bothered to apologize.

Acceptable. We didnt inspect the vehicle together and sign it off before leaving from pick up which was a bit of a worry. Car interior a little worn/tired but clean. No sixt branded car hire stickers/signage? I selected wrong airport for pick up. Additional charge was a bit high in my opinion but understandable

After 30 minutes of waiting in line they refused to rent me a car because I could not prove that I live in Canada - the country where I received my drivers license. I have no Idea why I have to prove that, Ideally valid documents should be enough, but the result is disappointing: I did not get a car, the company did not receive my money.

My van that was reserved and pre paid in advance was given away due to my flight being delayed. Imagine the person in front of you in line is discussing how a van just became available as you stand there asking if the van being given away was yours. And yes it's in fact your van. Then no vans were left to rent and you have to rent a hotel and hope a van becomes available the next day. Fingers crossed as you are in a foreign country not knowing what to do next. I was also awake at that point over 26 hours. Tired exhausted and jet lagged. So my experience was 10 out of 10 the worst case scenario.

The agent I worked with at the counter when picking up the vehicle was excellent, and I am sorry, but I don't have her name handy. Hopefully, you all can see that from the paperwork and will give her kudos, as she did a fantastic job and was super friendly and helpful. She is a valuable asset to your company. I watched her work with the customers before me, and they left with the same sense of gratitude that I had when I finished working with her. Especially after the day I had been traveling.

In the end it was good but to get to the car hire desk and be told no car because I'm late when I let the telephone head office know what time I was going to pick up the car .The person on the telephone did not pass on my information so my car was gone but the staff at the northampton branch found me a car and saved the day.

They charged me for insurance when I explicitly told them I didn’t want it. I have my own insurance. They told me the extra cost was a deposit and the form was not in English so I trusted them. I found out later that my $120 rental now cost $314. I want my money back!

Need to know exactly what car is allocated before the paperwork. Clarify and itemise all types of insurance cover being offered and get agreement from the customer. Refrain from upselling to another category of car

The car ran ok & was reliable. However it was a car quite definitely below the level we had requested & paid for. We believe we were given this car, kept waiting an incredibly long time & treated averagely due to the desk woman being overworked & us booking the car through a third party.

My scheduled pickup time was 11:00 am but our flight was early and ended up getting to the ticket counter at 9:30 am. They wouldn't issue me the car until 11:00 am so we had to sit there for an hour and a half waiting. There has to be a better way.

They wouldn't allow me to inspect the vehicle before. They said it was too dark. I came back, and there was a tiny scuff evaluated by a non-Hertz employee. I have outside insurance purchased, but I bet it's going to be a hassle.

Price was good for the 12-day rental. It was exhausting at the time of car pickup, the lady kept trying to upsell me on a bigger car, more insurance coverage. What could take 10 minutes for signing the rental agreement, took over 30 minutes. Everything else was amazing.

Had a Mercedes lined up for $500 over four days and was told we could get a van for much less with much more room. Took 15 minutes to switch the reservation around, and only at the end was I told that it was almost $290 more, despite the agents assurance it would be less.

Drop off is so easy. Pick up takes somewhat longer than expected, perhaps due to my booking was not doen directly with Hertz/thrift. They asked me to write down typical info such as address, cell number and email which was given when booking was made.
