How much is a Lexus car rental in New Orleans?

I would like to see larger cars with more room for luggage. That’s the only concern. But, one of your professional employees made a pertinent point with respect to the small roads in Europe in general and also about the potential taxes on the vehicles that are imposed by various governments in the EU. All in all, I had no issues with the car.

Do NOT use this rental company/location. I wish I had taken the other bad reviews seriously but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and given Budget is a global company, I figured it would be fine. I booked a compact SUV for a week starting 5/30 with a pickup time of 11pm. Our flight was diverted to Nicaragua due to bad weather so we were late in landing. I was at the desk by 1:15am. While in Nicaragua, I called Budget via phone and was told that the location had been made aware of the diversion and delay and that I have 24 hours to pick up my car. I was assured that there was no issue at all in my delay. Additionally, I spoke with a chat representative online who was able to confirm with the the local team that my car would be 100% held until 2am. When I arrived at the desk, the representative told me that they had already given my car away as they waited any hour for me to arrive. I tried to explain the above and the gentlemen was completely unhelpful, only offering me a pickup truck after much back and forth. However, he was going to charge me an additional $700 for the truck. There was another passenger behind me who was also on my flight who's car had been given away as well. I eventually walked down to a different counter and was able to secure a last minute car with a lovely gentlemen. I truly encourage everyone to stay away from this place. They left me stranded at the airport at 1:30am with no options and couldn't even have bothered to apologize.

The car was not available an hour after scheduled pick up and the line was too long for me to wait as I had movers waiting for me at my home. I asked the person at the front counter what I could do and they told me I would have to wait. No ETA or timeline offered. After I left, I checked back to see if it was available that afternoon-still no car available. Even an hour before my scheduled drop-off it said that the car was not yet available online. Worst experience working with a rental car company ever.

I arrived at the airport, and the company was closed. I booked my rental three months ago; now I have to go to the open rental company and pay the going price. Air lines run 24 hours a day, and so should rental car companies at the airport.

Took 1.5 hrs to get a car, the customer service at the desk was moving at a snails pace and we were in the middle of the line. Could not imagine how long it took for the last person to get a car. Did not have the car we ordered and then was charge over $100 in fees when we dropped it off. I guess its a bunch of fees for doing business at the airport.

when arrived in New Orleans there was an estimated 1.5 hour wait. One person at desk and long line. Ended up cancelling and going with National. Will never use Dollar nor parent company Hertz. They don't give two shites about customer. That is obvious.

I didn't realize that Kayak booked through expedia. I had two different confirmation numbers, so I thought I accidentally made two separate reservations. It wasn't as clear as I would have liked. But the price was great as was my experience with Hertz

I wanted to pickup and return my car rental at the airport (MSY), but the rental location Kayak gave me was 30 mins away and required the additional rental of an uber or lift ride. I should have been warned my rental location was not compatible with my airport.

The drop off experience was extremely stressful I wish we knew what the drop off process was Our drop off was at 9 am and you guys didn’t open until 12 When you guys did open at noon and I was explaining my frustration with the process the representative at the Tyler location in Texas the representative hanged up on me. I reserved a 13 passenger van a December 7, 3034to be picked Jan 7, 2024. Only to receive a text message Jan 7, 2024, at 7:44 am that the system was overbooked and couldn't accommodate my reservation. I called Avis customer service number was told they had the vehicle at the airport location. I got to the airport only to be told they didn't have a 13 passenger van. Why have a system that you can't keep track of amount of reservation vehicles and locations.

I had problem with my card as it was an international credit card there where problem with the charge. The customer service agent at pickup was not very Professional. When i deliverd the car the agent helping me told me that they had a new card terminal and that she was awere of the problem with international cards. the agent giving me service whaen pickup was not professional.

Literally nothing.

Cons:

Everything. The guy was an hour and a half late then just said, “Oh well you shouldn’t have been able to book it earlier.” No apology, no discount... It ruined our whole day because we were two hours late after he had to drive us to another location because the one I reserved the car at apparently only had a 12-passenger van he kept trying to get us to take. There were three of us! We didn’t want the damn van.

We are very desappointed because we did not pay the price we booked (about +50%) because there were lots of additionnal charges like the mandotory assurance (we didn’t know we needed to proove that we had a personnal assurance, if so, we should asked a proof to our insurrance to avoid the additionnal charges), a deposit of 2000$ and we were charged because we paid it by card, the car was old with lots of miles and they told us we were not allowed to drive 200miles away from New Orleans. Hopefully our trip was next New Orleans, but if you want to make a road trip it’s a problem. The last, but not least you can read on the door office that the price can change depending on the customer ! I really don’t recommand this Rental.

Very friendly staff. One staff member offered to even drive us to the airport for 10% less than an Uber so we didn't have to wait for one or move our luggage!

Cons:

The woman we signed out papers with could have talked a bit slower. She spoke so quickly we had to ask multiple times for her to repeat herself. But she was very friendly and helpful!

The staff was somewhat friendly but they are stuck in a fowl location and many of there customers are turned away and unhappy.

They could have clearly stated in big letters that they don’t rent to any one who doesn’t have proof of full collision auto insurance.
