Prices were quoted in CAD and were asked in USD at a way worse rate than what I anticipated, and with no internet on the spot to verify and show my reservation I had no choice but to accept and go with whatever they were saying. The car was in rough shape and not particularly clean, with the radio inoperative and bits ands broken inside, and at drop off they charged me 190$ for a cleaning fee because there were some dog hair on the floor in the back. Overall when I should have paid 425$ Cad I ended un paying over 1100$ cad. I should have stuck with the competitor’s rental, this was way overpriced and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

I was overcharged. I will be disputing credit card charge. KAYAK booked me the van at a price $300 cheaper than what I was charged and Budget said I needed to contact KAYAK. Very bad experince

We didn’t like being told there was not a 7 person vehicle on hand that fit our order. We did like that they set aside a ford explorer that did meet our criteria

Budget tried to give me a sedan even though I paid for an SUV. This was right after they gave away an SUV at no extra cost to the person in line in front of me. They took an hour to find another SUV.

It was the fastest I was in and out of a rental office. The individual working at the drop off in Palm Springs was really nice. I can't tell you how disappointed I was that the type of car I reserved was not there since I made the reservation ahead of time.

There was a problem with my reservation dates when I arrived to pickup my vehicle. The representative behind the counter assured me that they fixed my issue and I left with my vehicle. I wasn’t give a physical copy of my contract. When I dropped of my vehicle I was told that my vehicle was late and that I brought it back with less fuel than when I left. I know this isn’t true because I photographed my fuel level when I received my vehicle. I spoke with 2 representatives on the phone and one at the return counter and they all basically told me that there wasn’t anything they could do. Finally, I was told that Avis would adjust my fees. This has yet to be done. I will not being using Avis car rentals in the future.

Terrible experience overall. Stay far away from this place for many reasons: 1. Car rental facility is far from San Diego (on the border with Mexico), 2. Staff does not speak English. 3. No flexibility with rental terms. 4). Unreliable cars. Ours broke down the second to last day, with less than 50 total miles driven. Car had to be towed back. Never received so much as an apology (again, the language barrier), let alone an offer to remunerate for the giant fiasco that was this rental experience. Long story short, do not rent from them!

Staff friendly both at pick-up and drop-off. Drop-off at Indianapolis airport couldn’t have been easier. Quick, clearly marked, they were ready before I was! Nice to have hybrid minivan. Comfortable.

The office texted me while I was in the air flying to my destination and informed me they were closing the office and had no car to lend me. It put me in a precarious situation as I was traveling with my parents who are in their 90s.

They had no cars I had to take an electric car it felt like it was bait and switch. I’ve never used an electric vehicle and no one showed me how to do it. Frustrating and had to go the charging station 3x the first two times apparently I wasn’t doing it right. Had to ask someone else who was at the station how to do it.

I couldn’t rent the car. Their machine to check my passport was not working at all Plus the price they asked me was 3 times bigger than what the site said. Emoloyer was pretty rude Very very bad I wasted my time

Ace had great pricing and pickup and drop off was quick and easy. Jenny helped us check in and was very nice and helpful. She gave my wife and I several restaurant recommendations while we were in town for the weekend. Car was nothing special and drove a little bit run down, but it was fine for the few days we used it. Would use them again because of the customer service, ease of booking, and value.

Pickup process took an hour. Had to wait outside in the cold while they checked in another customer. Then I returned it on its due date and tried to check another car using a new reservation with a better rate but they would not honor the new rate.
