Most of the experience was excellent but felt like the original pick up experience was too pushy in trying to upsell us to spend money on things we didn't need. They know we've just landed from a long flight and are experiencing jet lag and it feels like they are trying to take advantage of you in that moment. Maybe that's just they're job but that part wasn't pleasant.

I had to take the car to a car wash immediately after picking it up, because it was dirty on the exterior. Interior was dusty but mostly ok. Other than that, it was a good car and pick up and drop off were very convenient.

After traveling a long way with our 1 and 9 year old we were so happy to arrive and get our car. There was no one at the budget rental counter for us to pick up our reservation. 20 minutes go by and someone finally shows up. I was informed insurance was mandatory which was not mentioned in the booking process. Then there was a $1500 hold on top of that placed on my account as a deposit. I was also not made aware of that and it should be standard to mention both of those things during the booking process. The woman at the counter instructed us to go wait outside for her coworker to get us. It is hot and we had so much to carry including the baby. We waited another 20 minutes outside until I decided to go back in and ask the woman where her coworker was. She called him and said he was outside so I went out and no one was there. I went back inside she called him again and then he found me. The car had much wear and tear the price was ok but felt like a lot for a car with close to 80,000 miles. The return was easy but we were instructed to call a number given to us 15 minutes before we arrived. Never experienced that before. Overall I give my experience a low rating BUT that is due to the customer service. Not the car itself

Booked with a company I have never heard of. That will not happen again If it had not been for the lady in the office at the pick up area I would never have gotten the car When I tried to phone and talk to someone I got a recording . In a dispute about extra insurance I had already purchased. What a nightmare You will never get money from me again . Nasty transaction

There was nothing I like about this car rental.experience. Lines were long and there were an incredible amount of people in line. Lastly, I was forced to get collision insurance It was explained to me that the is company doesn’t compare with Heryz, Budget. Avis and /of none of the big company rentals. In a nutshell I won’t be renting from this company agai. The use deceit practices.

This was a scam. Deceptive marketing with hidden fees and predatory practices on the consumer. I canceled reservation onsite , didn’t take the car and will never use them or affiliate rental companies. I will never recommend them.

Online your able to pay with an American Express Card. When you get there after a long flight and a a long drive from Mimai Airport to get there....they tell you we do not accept American Express cards. Mr and two other customers went through the same thing...there was a lot of upset people in the same boat...yelling, arguing. I will never use them again! Stop accepting American Express online for carwiz!

Terrible!! Second time trying to book with them. First time they lost the reservation they said it wasn’t in the system so we had to search for another company on the spot- this time they completely changed the price when we arrived and they said since we booked on the American website our deposit will be the whole value of the car! So they wanted to put a hold of 10,000€ on our Visa which is ridiculous! And they were very rude about it and didn’t offer us any better option and we had to walk around searching for another company at the airport and we found one with a reasonable deposit! We will NEVER book with Avis again.

Cons:

You are providing false prices, car was double the price that you advertised plus when we went to the airport they told us that the car is not available. Your customer had to stay another night in the city since it was late and rented a car tomorrow in another company. Extremly poor service provided by Kayak and Avis. Never again

The staff was helpful and friendly with good English ability. They worked hard to process me as quickly as possible on both ends.

Cons:

I was surprised by a large deposit "required by the non-Hertz insurance" I had purchased. That should have been communicated before I arrived to pick up the car.

Pros:

Excellent value. I have never driven a small car like the Toyota Aygo, but it turned out quite fine even going up the steep hills. Excellent gas mileage.

Cons:

Only that there was no windshield wiper liquid in the reservoir. I have already told Hertz about this and they said that they will take care of it.

Pros:

Affordable and efficient! We rented a car in Belgrade, Serbia for a road trip through Serbia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria. Car was great, check in and out was great, and we appreciated Hertz's policy of no-charge for spouses as additional driver (if you're a member of their rewards group).

Sixt employees were very nice and helpful

Cons:

My issue here is really with Kayak, not sixth. When I booked the car on Kayak I booked a Chevy Tahoe or similar. I understand that similar means it doesn't have to be a Chevy Tahoe, but the Dacia Duster that they had at Sixt in Belgrade is not a similar or comparable car. It is both smaller and weaker, not to mention the car was manual - lucky I know how to drive one but this should have been mentioned.

Cons:

I specifically requested an automatic vehicle through Kayak. As the request was turned into a reservation, the automatic somehow became a manual. At the time, i was unaware that this happened, since i had clicked on automatic. At the counter, we were given a manual. More on this, but no more space

SCAM!!! BAIT and SWITCH!!! Advertised $125 for 8 days turned into $750. I walked out!! Took the shuttle back to the airport. Found another car rental dealer and booked a new Honda for $450. I would NEVER do business with OTOQ!! EVER!!

Firstly, the staff was polite and professional; nice guys. They were on time in shuttling us to and from the airport (since they were off airport location but only minutes away so not inconvenient at all). Both the shuttle and car rental were clean. The registration process was easy and efficient. I would totally use them again HOWEVER, I don’t recall their website stating that the price I paid was just to reserve the car. When we got there they asked for our insurance and if it didn’t state we had 300k on Property Damage Liability (which I never heard a company having this requirement) we had to purchase theirs, no way around that. Although I had purchased extra rental coverage through a third party site which was pointless because this car rental company didn’t accept. So the car that was originally 30$ for the day ended up being almost 110$ after adding the sun pass and additional insurance. We were on a schedule to get our trip moving along smoothly so I just bit the bullet and used their services but this felt like a bait and switch tactic which is why I have a bad review. Too bad because I liked everything else about it. It would’ve just been easier, convenient and cheaper had I just used a well known rental company right inside the airport.

Shady business. They wanted us to text a pic of where we are at the airport and said they'll send a minivan with different business logo to pick us up. Took 40 mins for the car to arrive. Upon the car arrival we were informed that they don't accept tesla insurance and we need to purchase really expensive insurance from them. We just ended up renting different car from one of legit companies at the airport instead of taking a risk to deal with this people.

This seemed like a scam. They required me to purchase additional insurance coverage through them, which totaled 400% of my rental price. So the "great deal" I found on kayak, ended up being way more expensive than other companies. Buyers beware!
