Most of the experience was excellent but felt like the original pick up experience was too pushy in trying to upsell us to spend money on things we didn't need. They know we've just landed from a long flight and are experiencing jet lag and it feels like they are trying to take advantage of you in that moment. Maybe that's just they're job but that part wasn't pleasant.

I had to take the car to a car wash immediately after picking it up, because it was dirty on the exterior. Interior was dusty but mostly ok. Other than that, it was a good car and pick up and drop off were very convenient.

After traveling a long way with our 1 and 9 year old we were so happy to arrive and get our car. There was no one at the budget rental counter for us to pick up our reservation. 20 minutes go by and someone finally shows up. I was informed insurance was mandatory which was not mentioned in the booking process. Then there was a $1500 hold on top of that placed on my account as a deposit. I was also not made aware of that and it should be standard to mention both of those things during the booking process. The woman at the counter instructed us to go wait outside for her coworker to get us. It is hot and we had so much to carry including the baby. We waited another 20 minutes outside until I decided to go back in and ask the woman where her coworker was. She called him and said he was outside so I went out and no one was there. I went back inside she called him again and then he found me. The car had much wear and tear the price was ok but felt like a lot for a car with close to 80,000 miles. The return was easy but we were instructed to call a number given to us 15 minutes before we arrived. Never experienced that before. Overall I give my experience a low rating BUT that is due to the customer service. Not the car itself

They changed my drop off location without telling me. And it cost me an extra day of rental. The CEO Joe Ferraro seems to be avoiding my emails.

I received a car that reeked of cigarettes and was told to come back the next day. Came back the next day and there were no cars available according to them. It was near closing time so they gave us an older vehicle that was picked up from Maine and dropped off here. Worst part was that they didn’t have the time to clean the vehicle and it reeked of BO from the previous driver. Worst car rental experience I ever had and I book travel packages.

I never got a car, at all. I had booked more than 24 hours out, but I received a call 2hrs before pickup saying they had zero cars. I then tried to book another car, got confirmation, sat in the office for over 30 minutes, only to be told there was nothing in the system for me at all - despite a confirmation.

The clerk at the rental counter was both condescending and rude to both myself and husband at pick up and drop off. We will never rent from this location again.

Renting and returning, the counter persons were helpful, nice, & efficient.

Cons:

Very happy with it. The current rental situation made it difficult for them but they handled it well and gave me the first car that came in. 👍🏻

Car smelled like cigarette smoke!! Awful! Also, driver seat belt did not buckle very easily, def needs to.be looked at.

Pros:

The gentleman that helped me was very nice. It was really hot that day & I had to wait outside for close to 45 mins while he helped other customers before I got my vehicle. He was always communicating with me & was very professional & friendly.

Cons:

The car was very dirty & smelled like cigarette smoke. There was previous damage to the vehicle (scrapes & crack in the windshield-which was all recorded before I took possession of the vehicle). And I was about an hour into my journey, figuring out off the gadgets when I came across the tire gage. All 4 tires where WAY off (47, 45, 31 & 33) YIKES! I pulled over & adjusted the tire pressure. That should have been taken care of prior to me getting in the vehicle.

Extremely disappointed with my rental experience. I received a ticket in Puerto Rico for parking in the handicap after presenting my handicap placard to the company they still charge me for the ticket. Due to my timeline and language barrier I wasn’t able to resolve the ticket with the local police. The company charge my CC $1,000 for the ticket.
