I was expecting a Ford Edge, recieved a Ford Explorer. While upgrades are nice, the difference in gas milage was significant. We drove from St Louis to Yellowstone National Park and back. Also the car was not ready at our scheduled time so we had to wait for the car to be cleaned, about 20 min. While not Budgets fault, I did not like the dail shift control or the information screen in the explorer. The drop-off was quick easy and hassle free, but we were not given a receipt. As an experienced traveler, I knew that the receipt would be e-mailed to me, but my wife was upset that I could not tell her how much the car rental had cost at drop off.

Easy pick up and drop off. Surprised the vehicle did not have a car wash before we got it, but not a big deal. Also not sure it had even been gone through because there was some small garbage on the floor in back seat area. First time in mini van and was surprised how nice the ride was.

Pros:

The office at the pick up location smelled nice.

Cons:

The location did not have my car size on the lot at the Hollywood location on Pembroke Rd. I took a small SUV: Nissan Rogue as thats all they had. It did not fit me; I'm 6feet 6in and 280lbs. The location said they anticipate a full size arrival the next day by 11am. I called on Friday; they dont have a full size. I had to drive 17miles to the Miami Lakes location to pickup the Full Size car 1 day after my pick up day. I had to delay my vacation. The only compensation I got was a free 1/2 tank of gas or 8 gallons @$2.43/gal which equals $19.44 for all my troubles.

Pros:

was able to change the drop off location to airport with minimal cost/penalty

Cons:

I had to wait for the car to arrive to the car rental place for 3 hours. In addition there were 5 to 7 other people who were also waiting. After waiting for about 1.5 hours the staff realized that they mixed up my car choice and so this led to further delays. Very frustrating to spend 3 hours of my vacation sitting in a parking lot on the highway during a nice sunny day, when I should have been with with my family.

Everything. The car was not ready upon pick up. I was told “we have no cars here for you so you can either wait or take a smaller car” I then I had to wait for someone to return a car, then wait for it to be cleaned. I got the car and the driver window would not roll down. I called 3 location in the are to switch the car out and no cars were available. On my 14 hour drive one of the tires continued to lose pressure, also the car shook when driving over 50 or accelerating. At my destination I had to contact 5 enterprises a day to see if any cars were available to switch out. During 5 days no one had any cars, so I was forced to drive this car which I did not feel safe in 14 hours back home.

Pros:

The guy was really nice made it very easy to pick a car an explained everything in great detail easy to understand

Cons:

Enterprise overall as a company needs to do better with their online reservations. I made a reservation in Hollandale and they claim that they called me but they never did to tell me that the car reserved was not available so when I went to pick up the car they told me that as well as that there were no other cars available he gave me a card and told me to call around to the other enterprise to see if they had a car available

Pros:

The staff was friendly.

Cons:

The first car provided was extremely dirty (trash in the back seat, dirty steering wheel, sand in the back - it wasn’t cleaned at all, and during a pandemic, when that is even more critical. The car class we requested was unavailable. There is no after hours drop off available - and the location is only open until 1pm.

Cons:

Waited for 30+ minutes for someone to come to the check-in desk. The staff member was excellent but she was the only person on staff and it seemed like she was left alone to do all of the work.

I experienced a mechanical issue during my trip. The car I rented might have had some issue before I picked it up. I was asked to pickup another car in another city at no additional cost when I contacted customer care. I did pick up the new vehicle but they charged me 3x more than what the original rental agreement said. This is despite their assurance I won’t be charged extra for the vehicle swap. Dollar’s customer service is the worst I have seen in a decade. They can’t internally route calls to other departments and has insane wait times. The only redeeming thing is that the store manager at DFW airport helped me adjust the rental price to we originally agreed upon. Probably won’t rent again. This is disappointing because Hertz owns Dollar and I always thought Hertz had good customer service.

After a long trip for a stop over in Guam for few days and connecting to another one, the agent was awesome! Her service was outstanding and left a great impression. To top ot off, she was there when I returned the rental, providing the same level of exceptional service Her friendliness and professionalism made my rental experience truly enjoyable.

Shady business. They wanted us to text a pic of where we are at the airport and said they'll send a minivan with different business logo to pick us up. Took 40 mins for the car to arrive. Upon the car arrival we were informed that they don't accept tesla insurance and we need to purchase really expensive insurance from them. We just ended up renting different car from one of legit companies at the airport instead of taking a risk to deal with this people.

This seemed like a scam. They required me to purchase additional insurance coverage through them, which totaled 400% of my rental price. So the "great deal" I found on kayak, ended up being way more expensive than other companies. Buyers beware!

I'll never go back to them. All well-known rental car companies typically ask who your insurance company is and you tell them and thats that. In my case Travelllers. This was not enough. They wanted proof, so I called my insurance company and they emailed me my insurance card. This was still not enough either, they wanted the declarations page, so I called again and had that e-mailed which worked. Super inconvenient and the guy behind the counter had the personality of a brick, his English was poor, spoke so fast one could not understand what he was saying and he did not really care about making the experience a pleasant one. I overheard the clients at the counter next to me mention the words, Mickey Mouse company, so I was not the only one disapproving of renting here. Car was ok for the money and clean enough. I wanted to extend and called both numbers on their contract. all 4 times I tried I was placed on hold, and the call was dropped within 5 seconds of being placed on hold, as if it was intentional. So I emailed and asked if an extension was possible at the same rate I had of $15.00 per day. They came back with $50.00 per day and I decided to return the car. I guess that's their prerogative but I chose to return the car and be done with them rather than extend. I'll never use these guys again and the impression I got was that they did not care about future happy clients at all
