Pros:

I prepaid for a Hertz rental car for our 5 day vacation. However when we arrived to the rental location, there were no cars available. The Hertz staff were unhelpful and did nothing to remedy the situation besides giving me the Hertz phone number. In short we lost money and time and gained nothing from the experience except the wisdom to never book through Kayak again.

Was notified 30 minutes before pick up time there was no car available for me. I was told they would call me within 20 mins with a car & never heard back. I continued calling them throughout the day, each time there was a different excuse why there wasn’t a car available. Had to rent from enterprise

Cons:

I made a reservation about two weeks in advance of my trip, when I went to pick up the car the assistant manager told me they didn’t have anymore cars and they haven’t had any for two days. That’s not the end of it, when I inquired about why I wasn’t informed the assistant manager told me that they’ve been “trying to call me” But the problem is I actually called this particular Hertz office the day before pick up and then the morning of and both times my reservation was confirmed by the associate. This manager never apologized and showed a complete disregard for the inconvenience and then gave me an attitude for being upset quote “I don’t know what you want me to do” and shrugged her shoulders. When I inquired about my refund she said “we didn’t charge you” as she walked off to the back. I will not be doing business here ever again.

Pros:

Drop off was easy

Cons:

Budget called a day before to inform that all cars were sold out and cancelled the rental . Then on the day of the rental they called to inform they now have a car available. Very unreliable to rent if you have solid plans for the day . Also they overcharged

The agent I worked with at the counter when picking up the vehicle was excellent, and I am sorry, but I don't have her name handy. Hopefully, you all can see that from the paperwork and will give her kudos, as she did a fantastic job and was super friendly and helpful. She is a valuable asset to your company. I watched her work with the customers before me, and they left with the same sense of gratitude that I had when I finished working with her. Especially after the day I had been traveling.

Being Scammed for fuel is not a good experience especially from a brand such as Sixt. I rented a car with a supposed full tank. the Car is a small Car and that can hardly burn more than 5/6 litres per 100km. After I drove 130 KM and returned the car, I had to fill in 15.3 liters . this only means one thing, the car was not full. the second car I rented and that I am still driving, shows 670km autonomy and a small red band at the fuel level indicator. Again NOT Full. I have no idea what games are being played at this location with Fuel, but it looks like a Scam to me. SIXT Better ACT

We felt fortunate to get our rental. There were only two agents working, by the time our delayed fight arrived, and the customer lines were very long. We were relieved to get a car, despite the fact that many customers did not. The customer service agent was very friendly and helpful.

The car and service was great. Finding the car return was a nitemare. We drove around the airport for an hour

Check in online was good but the next step to select vehicle was very disappointing- did not go through. Then no response. Thrifty counter at airport was closed- long line at Dollar counter: then had to go on lower level at another counter to get car. Nearly 2 hours before we get car: what’s the use of checking online?

Terrible customer service and gave me a crappy car, low tire pressure at start and ask customer to fill it on the way, engine oil life of 10%. Cause delay on my trip schedule. Charge full at the end of the trip regardless of faulty car and bad customer.

Full size SUV is not a ford edge similar to high lander. Car was not clean when picked up and we had to identify multiple scratches and dents not included on the form so with no attendant outside we had to walk back inside to the rental counter to add them to the form before leaving (extra 20 min process)
