Prices were quoted in CAD and were asked in USD at a way worse rate than what I anticipated, and with no internet on the spot to verify and show my reservation I had no choice but to accept and go with whatever they were saying. The car was in rough shape and not particularly clean, with the radio inoperative and bits ands broken inside, and at drop off they charged me 190$ for a cleaning fee because there were some dog hair on the floor in the back. Overall when I should have paid 425$ Cad I ended un paying over 1100$ cad. I should have stuck with the competitor’s rental, this was way overpriced and will definitely not recommend to anyone.

I was overcharged. I will be disputing credit card charge. KAYAK booked me the van at a price $300 cheaper than what I was charged and Budget said I needed to contact KAYAK. Very bad experince

We didn’t like being told there was not a 7 person vehicle on hand that fit our order. We did like that they set aside a ford explorer that did meet our criteria

Budget tried to give me a sedan even though I paid for an SUV. This was right after they gave away an SUV at no extra cost to the person in line in front of me. They took an hour to find another SUV.

I booked a car rental through kayak and went to pick up the car and Enterprise was closed. I couldn't get a hold of anyone through customer service or anything. Apparently Kayak doesn't keep up to date with hours at Enterprise, I was very upset and was stuck with no car after driving all the way there.

Car was reliable, new, good on gas, etc.

Cons:

Car smelled pretty bad the whole time. Seemed like a previous renter had thrown up in it and the car cleaning did not do the trick.

that day when I went to pick up the car, they told me that there was no car, and imagine that I had to fly the next day from New York outside the USA, I had to urgently look for a rental car and found it from the airport in Hartford, CT, I categorically dissatisfied...

Price for a two week rental was reasonable. The agents I interacted with on pick up and return were friendly & professional.

Cons:

We rented a Nissan Versa. Hands down the most uncomfortable car I’ve ever been in. Certainly not their fault but I’ll know better next time. I wasn’t informed that even though I paid for the rental in advance there would be an additional $200 deposit held on my credit card until the car was returned. I don’t think that’s unreasonable but felt that should be made known in advance.
