The ratings were deceiving. The outside of the resort needed plenty of repairs but inside the room needed some deep cleaning.

Pros:The staff was friendly, and the location was good.
Cons:The smell of cat urine was so strong I had to leave at midnight and drive the final 5 hours home.

Cons:We booked two hotels rooms and both bathtubs flooded. Out of 6 of us, only two were able to shower due to the flooded bathtubs. In addition, the hot water is a yellowish brown color. The front desk clerk blamed the city water for the color of the water yet we have stayed at hotels nearby and we have never had this experience. The air conditioner in both rooms heated our rooms to 85 degrees in the auto setting. We woke up several times in the night to turn it off and turn it back on when we got cold. We had a miserable night. When we first arrived, the bathtub had hairs and dust as if something had been dusted in the bathtub and left without rinsing it out. I can not believe ACU has this hotel listed as a choice on their list of hotels. Disgusting!

Pros:Great location- close to ACU and a lot of restaurants. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast.
Cons:Carpet was damp when I got my room. I would've complained, but I had already unpacked my bags. That also made the room smell a little funky. One of my towels had some orange stains on it. The shower curtain bar was rusted and made the bathroom look grimier than it actually was.
