Nothing good to say about this place. There was one member of staff on duty all evening The Man who checked us in at reception, was also working on the bar and doing everything else. The place stank of curry and seem to be deserted, It was extremely hot. The room was boiling with no Aircon no fridge and no other facilities Booked a deluxe room with a bath but got a room with a broken shower and an uncomfortable bed. The gentleman on duty was unable to bring any ice in an ice bucket. Only a wine cooler. I explain this would not cool a bottle of wine that was already room temperature, so he offered a bucket from the bar but explained it stinks I don’t think you want to use it I said Wash it out and fill it with ice he said he couldn’t because the ice machine didn’t have any ice in it. Someone forgot to turn it on. Breakfast was a very dismal affair. We appear to be the only guests, although I’m sure there were some more. They were only two of us that I could see so two yoghurts were put out. Breakfast was very stingy minimal (just two of everything) and the tea and coffee in jugs was disgusting only lukewarm instant coffee and teabags with boiling water would’ve been better, the breakfast menu was shown to us onto dirty tatty bits of A4 paper very limited choice. I had a veggie breakfast which was badly cooked cheap ingredients and swimming in grease the bubble and squeak appeared to be covered in batter and fried in dirty oil. It was dark brown and completely full of grease.. I left it all as did my partner, his full English, the dining room with sweltering no fans around or windows are open It was way too hot and uncomfortable to stay in there, so we left all in all the worst night in a hotel I have ever had in my 68 years anywhere in the world.
