They advertised they were an airport van rental company. My flight arrived at 6 pm and when I called to get a shuttle to pick up my van AVR rental was closed (hours are 8 am to 4 pm). I had to rent a car from Avis at the airport and when I called AVR Rental the next day they refused to issue me a refund. Terrible company. Should not be allowed to list their vans on your site alongside normal rental car companies.Reviewed Apr 2 2024

terrible. van was disgusting, features in the van didn't work. not maintained, they tried to scam me by saying i went over the allowed mileage. they tricked me by saying they had unlimited mileage in the listing but told me it wasn't when i picked it up. place is horrible.Reviewed Mar 26 2024

Don't even think about renting from this Company - First off - didn't find out it was off-airport until I prepaid and received the confirmation, then couldn't cancel. Company is under staffed, left standing on the curb at the airport for over an hour waiting for them to pick us up - Employee shows up in her own mini van instead of the Company shuttle. They take more reservations than vehicles. Witnessed four customers arriving to pick up their rental van that they reserved and they were told - "No more vans, sold out". The only reason we got our van was bc I prepaid online. Also, never informed during the reservation process that the 12 & 15 passenger vans are considered "commercial" and you need commercial insurance coverage. Some personal insurance policies cover commercial passenger vans, unfortunately ours did not, so we had to purchase their insurance. Be aware, if your personal insurance does extend to this type of rental, you cannot take the van until they get a copy of your insurance card, who travels with that !?! The van was pretty beat up on the outside, fortunately it ran well. My lesson that I learned, stick with a reputable, well known rental company.Reviewed Jul 10 2023

Pros:The person at the desk was friendly and efficient once we got there. We were quickly checked out and on our way after a long wait.Cons:The directions on obtaining the vehicle were not explained to us until after we called for directions to the off site rental. We had to wait for a van to pick us up and take us to the rental lot, which took a long time to get to us. Upon arrival the agent greeted us and was welcoming. There was an undisclosed $200 deposit that we were not expecting and was taken from our debit card the day of rental. It was advertised that the van would be exceptionally clean and sanitized. When Adrienne pulled up the van it was obvious it has sat for awhile. The outside was dirty and banged up. The inside was fair, but it was definitely not clean. The Van’s brakes were poor and the power steering was loud. Not what I expected for the price we paid.Reviewed Oct 19 2020

Pros:The van operated fine. I had a bunch of warning lights. Low tire pressure and that weird balancing light thing.Cons:The pick up process. I waited over an hour for them to clean the van. And then they informed me that I didn’t qualify for unlimited miles even though it said unlimited miles on the website. 1) please clean your van prior to your customers picking them up. 2) please disclose all terms and conditions so your customers can know what they are getting themselves into.Reviewed Feb 5 2020
