Pros:The car was very nice and clean. Great size car for the money.

Cons:Daughters arrived on time for prepaid rental pickup at 1am as scheduled, the morning of their step-bro's wedding. Alamo was closed. Girls were stranded, competitor co informed the girls that Alamo strands customers at PIT almost every night!!! They couldn't get a car, so I had to drive from 2am to 5am to get them, return to wedding hotel, get about 4 hrs sleep, then head to the venue to prep for the wedding. I risked our lives driving so long & so late after a killer day doing all the last-minute arrangements for the wedding. Alamo's response to my complaint has been ....2 measly days free rental!!!?? Are you kidding me? No explanation! No apology! No assurance that it won't happen to me or anyone else again. No, just throw a pittance at him to shut him up. So disappointing! I had always had a good experience w/Alamo in the past. They really let me down BIG TIME at a critical time! If coming to PIT, DONT COUNT ON ALAMO!!!
Pros:The employees at the Pittsburgh airport Alamo were incredibly friendly and helpful when my wife and I rented an SUV. We were so impressed by how genuine they were. Maureen at the desk in particular was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely rent from here again!

Pros:I didn't like anything, the woman at the counter who informed me that they couldn't help me was extremely rude and spoke down to me as if I couldn't understand what she was saying-- mistaking my incredulity for ignorance, I suppose. Would never rent from Alamo.
Cons:Alamo did not clearly explain rental requirements when the rental was made online and made no attempt to confirm my age/payment method then told me it was company policy to deny me a rental and made no effort to rectify the situation. Basically told me to try another rental company and shoved me off.
Pros:Car was good.
Cons:The receipt I signed said the total would be $145. I was charged $308. I called and was told they had accidentally charged me for an extra day and at twice the rate I should have been charged at. They said my new total was $134 and the rest would be refunded. It has been several days and I haven't received a refund.
Pros:Like to location at the Pittsburgh Airport - no buses or trams to get to location. Rental office is in Airport near baggage and the cars are right outside.
Cons:They did not have the type of vehicle I requested
Pros:Great company to deal with, they have some of the best prices around. I use them quite frequently as I do not have a credit card and they are one of they very few companies that don't make you jump through hoops (or outright refuse) to rent with a debit card. I've never had any problems with returning a vehicle, never any bogus charges. I will continue to use them whenever I need to rent a vehicle
