Pros:Alamo was great at getting me a car quickly and checking me in quickly when I dropped it off. They allowed me to pick any car I wanted from the 'economy' row.
Cons:I probably should have upgraded to a larger vehicle as sleeping in an economy car is not all that comfortable.

Pros:Alamo was very courteous and prepared, even though the reservation was made only a few hours before I picked up. I even received an upgrade because the compact I requested was not available.

Cons:The agent, at pick-up, laid on a ton of sales scare tactics to get me to buy junk insurance coverage and also to upgrade my car. I am a Hertz Gold Five Star and will stick with them...avoid Alamo and their unethical sales tactics.

Cons:The representative did not clearly speak for Alamo, and he did not listen to customer questions. His directions were confused and thus ineffective.

Cons:I got a flat tire on my business trip, had to call roadside assistance and pay for it. When trying to dispute the charge, I was told that I didn't purchase roadside emergency service when renting the car. I think tires are part of the regular maintenance of the car and it's not my responsibility to fix them if something goes wrong. Never renting from Alamo again.
