Convenient to where we were going for a family reunion.
Lack of parking, but due to construction it was understandable.
The staff was great.
It was more money then I wanted to spend, but there was a bike race so they were booked. It was also further than I wanted to be from where I needed to be, but closer places were booked up.I couldn't park in the motel parking lot because of construction
Nothing. Our reservations were cancelled and we never had the opportunity to stay here.
The fact that our reservations were cancelled 2 days after we made them and 10 hrs before we were set to leave for our destination.
Breakfast- more than adequate; room clean and spacious. Hallways clean.
Construction in back of hotel- somewhat tricky access, but the Hotel Employee found her way. Tricky to figure out how to get water to come from shower head- pull down on bottom of tub spigot.
I stayed here because it is very close to where I was visiting.
Cable didn't work on Saturday night (5/2/15)
Location, layout, cleanliness, and smell. Felt like a much nicer hotel.
Staff was rude on several occasions and was a bit inept.
I had stayed at similar class hotels 2 weeks previous in Alton and was highly disappointed. The Best Western was clean quiet and the staff friendly.
Super friendly staff, hot breakfast
The staff was awesome and the hotel was very clean and breakfasts were delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful! I'll be staying here again for sure!
There is really nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
Close to where we needed to be and not far from everything
The room layout and furniture were fine. The pillows could have been better, but ok.
The horrendous noise from the automatic closing room doors woke me up constantly an issue of the hotel chain, not this location. Other hotels have the door speeed or distance to close lessened so it isn't so loud! Also the pipes made so much noise also.
Very comfortable bed. Clean and well appointed room.
The entrance to the parking lot was hard to find at night.
Very good breakfast. Something different every morning.
There was a group of people near us taking up a number of rooms that were loud late at night and early in the morning.
The location of the room. On the ground floor. The breakfast was also pretty good.
Yes did not like the coffee. They did not replace soap or shampo in the bathroom.
We were 2 rooms from the stairs. We were kept awake most of the night. The doors close VERY loudly. You could hear the up and down doors closing ALL NIGHT LONG (a wedding party staying there trickled in after the reception). Also zero sound on tv :((
When I was able to get into my room
They lost my reservations and it took 2 tries and almost an hour to get into my room. Terrible experience.
Hotel was clean and in good condition.
The problem was not with the hotel, but with priceline.com. My reservation was not booked electronically, so when I went to check in, I had no reservation. Luckily, they had rooms for me (booked 3). However I had to settle for queen beds.
Nice clean rooms!
The doors to the rooms are very heavy and bang shut. Only choose this hotel if you aren't interested in sleeping in the am. You can hear every door slam shut throughout the whole hall. It even shakes the headboard! Pool by loud traffic too.
Location is what I liked the most.
The public spaces didn't appeal to me. Gym was okay, but no pool, sauna, etc.
Yes, This is not the hotels fault, but Pricelines, I use priceline ALOT, if you look at my history email@example.com, this time, my room was no booked, but I was charged twice, I am not happy about it, I had to go through hoops. :(
The microwave was not working. Thenoverriding problem was that I was asked by the attendant to move the console to fix it. Since I have a bad back this was a preposterous situation. As a customer I feel i should not have even been considered (asked).
Room was clean, comfortable beds, nice staff. Felt secure. Like the hot breakfast.
