$5.00 cash deposit for key, note in bathroom about linenThis place is just a fun place to be, if you like adventure in the old west.
location and cleanliness. for trips into Death Valley National park the location of this hotel is great!
facilities are very worn! little pieces and parts of faucets, switches, etc. come loose during gentle use. place seems to be run on a shoestring such that nothing is replaced but just McGuyvered back together.
Reasonable price, good distance from death valleyDid a lot of searching before booking this one. It is just too expensive to stay hotel inside the park. This one is wonderful. Distance is not too far, and meet my expectation from every perspective. If I visit death valley again sometime later, I will still consider this hotel.
Bed Bugs, a cow they had penned outside that was extremely neglected. The cow has an infected eye. The cow's hoofs are extremely overgrown. He was extremely malnourished. We contacted the hotel who said the cow would be seen by a vet. My wife called today, 7-3-2013, and no vet had been there. This cow with a donkey sits on the side of the hotel in pens with a dispensary for the public to buy feed to give to them. This is a health issue. I awoke with bed bug sores and was extremely sick for 2 days during our stay in Las Vegas. This hotel is a joke. The manager denied that the hotel has bed bugs even though my wife took pictures of my bites. The manager even tried to tell my wife that the bugs were in our home. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would advise priceline to drop them.
The rooms were quite large and were clean. The hallways were also clean. The staff was very nice.
On Tuesday morning we got to the restaurant at 0700 to try to get an early start. We ordered oatmeal and cream of wheat but it did not come until approximately 0735. We did not eat there again.I was impressed with the rooms and their cleanliness. The bathroom worked well as there was a sink and mirror in the bedroom portion which was great. It was 37 miles to Furnas Creek which I believe was about the same distance as Beatty to Furnas Creek. Everything is quite spread out in that area but that's the way it is. I believe the facilities in Death Valley Park are a little pricier. My wife was happy with the Longstreet Inn so that was important. It worked well for our trip and needs.
Dirty room, shower was disgusting. Common areas were dirty. Area around the only available ice machine was filthy and area was covered with dead bugs.Would never consider staying staying again. Have paid less for much better hotels. Have stayed in roadside motels that were not advertised as 'resorts' that were cleaner and better maintained.
like its location, around 2 miles from a gas station, few miles from the entrance of Death valley np.
basically novery nice motel and remember to pump gas before u go to death valley np!!!
The air conditioner sent out smoky air instead of clean air. The fire alarm was activated by the smoke and we have to open the room to let the smoke out.Not very good experience. We were awaken in the midnight by fire alarm because the air conditioner started to send out smoke.
