Definitely liked the staff and food. Location was good too...downtown area.

My room location was ok...but it was close to the stock room (2nd floor). So I heard every bang, bump, knock. Also, there was no hot water available on the last day and no internet for half of my stay.

I will be back; however, not likely to stay at this venue unless I can secure a room on an upper floor with an ocean view.

The location and the beach

The front desk was abrupt and the room was on first floor next to the housecleaning so it was always very noisy

The door entry to the floor slams constantly, each time it opens and closes and should be fixed for future The wi-fi was down for a full day

The only thing I liked was the history of the hotel. The best part was leaving!

Reception area was small. Hotel was not family friendly. Bedding and furniture was old and musty. Housekeeping sprayed the bedding down with lysol as soon as we checked into the room without being asked to. As if they knew it wasn't clean.

The hotel was very disappointing. My family was very uncomfortable and didn't feel safe. It was nothing like it was advertised!! I do NOT recommend this place if you want a Bahamian experience!

I loved the beach and resort area as well as the live entertainment in the evenings.

The room was okay but the furniture was a little shabby and the towels and bedding were obviously old.

Location to Atlantis

The hotel was closing for much needed renovations on the last day of my trip and things were a mess. Place is in a great location but old and they let too many locals come in. They took most of the food at lunch and really made a mess of things. Terrible experienced

The location was fantastic. Beautiful beach area. Friendly hotel staff.

The hotel shows signs of wear and tear, especially in the common areas. Seemed a bit run down. In addition, there were a couple of guests who were severely intoxicated and unruly causing a lot of disturbance.

Overall, I felt the hotel was a good value. However I don't know that I would recommend it to friends due to the overall condition. The food was decent quality for an all inclusive and the wait staff was attentive and friendly.

Every room was booked while we were there and there were still chairs at the pool and the beach. It didn't feel like it was that crowded. We had plenty of room to enjoy the pool, bars, etc.

The gift shop doesn't open until 9am, which isn't a big deal. It would have been helpful for it to be open earlier since we forgot a couple of items.

The people were great. All of the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and seemed to really want us to have a good time. The housekeeping staff even folded our clothes! How great is that! The food was good and they had a lot of variety.

There was some mold on the grout in the shower, there were several areas of damage to the 'rock' around the pools. Music played too loudly at the pool, so that I couldn't use my iPod with ear buds. Room was clean, but didn't like the extra charges: $22/day for internet, $50 for gym access for 7 days. Food was expensive - $100 for one for a meal of pasta fagole, a caprese salad, and squash stuffed ravioli with figs, and a single glass of wine. Staff was friendly and helpful, nightly movies were timely and appreciated.

The hotel had staff at each door requesting to see room keys in order to keep non guests out and I enjoyed the pools and water activities included. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

the coral towers is an older hotel and is showing signs of wear. the sliding doors to balcony were very hard to open, some of the tile in the bathroom had been replaced with very poor craftmanship and the room needed some drywall repairs.

Overall this hotel has a very well trained staff and they are willing to assist any way possible. The room I had was clean, but could use some craftmanship repairing the sliding doors going to balcony, repairing some bubbles in the drywall, and the grout on repaired bathroom tiles. Overall it was about what I had expected for the price. I am dissapointed in the automatic taxes per person. The hotel charges a tax per person to clean the room daily and 15% gratuity is automatically charged on any food purchase. The automatic grat...

The room was great. Hotel staff was very good though staff at some of the other resort facilities could sometimes be a little surly.

Buildings in Nassau had barbed wire and barred windows, leaving us no option but to stay on the island and be subjected to Atlantis' exorbitant prices. $60 for breakfast for two? No thanks.

I've normally come to associate great hotels with great places. Unfortunately, the town of Nassau, across the bridge from Paradise Island, is quite impoverished and, judging from the barbed wire and barred windows we saw along the way from the airport, must have a significant crime problem. With nowhere else to venture except for the Atlantis resort facilities, we were a captive audience, subject to the high prices Atlantis charges for everything. They might as well make this an all-inclusive resort. At least then you would have a better idea of what you're likely to spend. Without the option to wander into town and take in the loc...

This is definitely the place to stay if you like being pampered because everyone on the staff definitely went out of their way to meet all our needs. My only problem was the beach, which unfortunately is the main reason you go to the Bahamas. The winds were so strong and the ocean current so strong that they had the red flag up every day we were there and we could not go in the water at all. We did have use of the beautiful pool, but let's face it, you can go to any hotel and use a pool. Anyway, this was very disappointing and would probably prevent me from returning.

This hotel should be demolished. It has extensive water damage. Our room reeked of mold and mildew. The carpet was even damp. Most of the hotel is under construction and off limits. The food at the hotel was not that good and was extremely overpriced. Not a lot of food options, especially for breakfast. The staff was nice, not too nice, just normal nice. The hotel is not located near anything such as shopping, dining, recreation, etc. You have to take a taxi, also very expensive, to go anywhere. We went to Atlantis. It was awesome! My suggestion, stay at Atlantis. That way you have access to the resort for your entire stay, close to downtown, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Location was good; within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Good size flat screen TV. Staff accommodating - made sure a/c worked, TV set up. Quaint decorating, but definitely 3rd world.

Linens were clean, but floors filthy, were not swept. Bathroom fixtures caked in calcium. Hair on sink when we got there and remained for 2 days. Old, broken furniture. A/C worked but noisy. Water just trickled out in shower - took 20 minutes to get hot.

Received a receipt for first night paid by VISA, but they didn't show 2nd night paid by cash - had to ask several times for a receipt so I had proof of payment. But staff was accommodating in the end. Did find the hotel pricey considering condition - --- night. Hotel next door was newer and only --- night and included breakfast.

The orchard garden hotel had decent reviews and I was looking for a value hotel.  The grounds were pretty, but not completely maintained.  When we arrived at the airport we got a taxi to the hotel.  Our driver asked why we chose the hotel.  Then, when asked, told me it was not nice and not in the best part of town.  She said it was for locals (I'm ok with that), she said women used it to get dressed for their weddings (Cool), she said people use it for illicit affairs (well, it is a hotel), she said men take ladies-of-the-night there (ah, crud).  The room was icky.  Not dirty, but not clean.  The sink and tub faucets were heavily calcified, the furniture was run down, and there was no trim around the door so you could see through to the outside world.  The walls were paper thin and we were privy to the repeated mating calls of the local Bahamians (also heard when next door occupant dropped coins on floor when he was paying his date).  Late night parties on the property kept my husband ...

You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.
