Right next to the ski lift. Very friendly and warm. Good food. Good beds to rest.
The noise on the grund floor (music, people singing) is disturbing for people on rooms in the 1st floor.
The rooms are spacious apartment style rooms. The bar area is comfortable and a good atmosphere. The location for the chair lift was fantastic and it is one of the only hotels in Arinsal that you can ski right down to. The chair lift next to the hotel is not the main gondola that the rest of the resort uses so there is never a queue in the morning.
We picked this hotel because it had sauna/steam room facilities but found out that this was a chargeable extra at 10 euros for 30 mins. The buffet had less choice than I have been used to at HB/AI hotels but we were always well fed. With 2 vegetarians in the group we were generally ok except on one night when it was salad/potato only for mains. Even though the rooms have a fridge/kitchenette there are absolutely no utensils/plates/pans/cutlery so you couldn't actually use the kitchen facilities unless you brought your own.
decent breakfast, room basic but kept well heated and clean, staff friendly. Toilet and bathroom good, plenty hot water.
noisy fridge. no bedroom. Mini club was not attractive to children. No equipment for cooking.
Good food, good position, very pleasant staff, friendly.
Breakfast needs to be served from 7.30am for people having ski lessons in the morning.
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Proximity to the ski lift was fantastic.
The pull out sofa beds were narrow and uncomfortable.
The hotel is perfectly situated alongside the chair lift. We found the staff friendly and helpful and it offers excellent value for money
We were meant to be staying at the Husa Patagonia but when we arrived at the front door there was a notice directing us to the hotel Husa Xalet Verdu, 400 yards further down the mountain and all the comments apply to that hotel. The hotel had a good situation with views down the valley and the bathroom was new and the bed comfortable.
We had dinner one night and although the food was plentiful, it was not very inspiring and so we ate out the following night.
The proximity to the chair lift and the ski hire is excellent. The staff and the facilities are very good. The hotel has a nice atmosphere.
location is adjacent to lift but good walk out of town . Rooms contain cooking facilities , table , chairs , sofa etc... Facilities are definitely 3 star . Food is average .
