The shower had no water pressure and there was no hot water
Things were falling off in our room that heater broke while we were in there the door wouldn't open with the key card ever lots of sounds in our room coming from the air vents loud people in the hallways at all hours of the night the smell of marijuana in the hallways somebody was jiggling are knob we had to evacuate not a good stay
The lobby and rooms were just tired. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding but the decor needs updating. Everything was clean. No coffee maker in the room or free coffe in lobby was disappointing. Seems that is standard in most hotels now. We had almost no hot water both days.
I love the room it was clean and comfortable
The room smelled like mold and cigarettes and we were on the non smoking side. The room door was not sealed good so the wind in the hallway made it seem like someone was trying to get in, so we had to place a folded piece of cardboard in the crack of the door to stop the noise. The shower head sprayed so wildly I had to shower with my back to the shower head which wet my hair up. Smh! Not a good stay!
The comfort was second to none n cool decor.
TV was terrible n nothing to do in that area except the Trop. Was never told in advance about security deposit.
The facility had great access to the beach, a beach bar, and a relaxing roof top pool with bar. Rooms we're a good size.
Staff members were not very welcoming. They weren't mean or rude, but didn't seem like they enjoyed their jobs or the guests. Older hotel so not many elevators, but what made it worse was when the service personnel put the elevators on hotels on hold during the busy mid morning. The hotel needs renovated badly. The hallways had stains on the carpet and the walls looked dirty. The rooms had damage to ALL the furniture which is weird because they make you put down $125 security deposit if damage is done. Sooooo if people are beng charged $125 when they cause damage then FIX the damage! Not staying there again. I'll pay a little extra to stay at the Tropicana.
The staff is great. Friendly. Rooms are clean.
The pools are small. Some rooms don't have a view of the beach entirely. The sixth floor have a parcel view.
loved the modern vibe!
Decor styling was neat. Sammy did an excellent job of taking care of someone else's mistake and making it right.
Water leak in room with No AC and nothing else available in the "4 star" section. Hard to believe housekeeping didn't notice. 4 star is not how I would classify the Chelsea. Overall a very unkept hotel.
Affordable, friendly staff, flexible late check out, reasonably priced, clean room, and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is a short walk to the beach, which would've been nice if we had another day to enjoy the weather.
Hallways were outdated and dirty - inconsistent with rooms. Affordable but you aren't staying in an hotel with a casino, restaurants etc so the experience isn't the same. It'd be nice if hotel provide a complimentary shuttle out to the hotel nearby or popular hotels (Tropicana or Harrahs) in the early evening considering nightlife isn't available at The Chelsea as it is for many other hotels.
I didn't have any complains at all. Great place and service for the price I paid. Right on the boardwalk. I paid for the city view but when we got there they ran out of them so they gave us the ocean view free if charge. It was awesome.
The fifth floor was closed and there was no bar. They also closed the pool bar early due to lack of customers. When we asked to reserve a cabana at the pool they said we had to spend $750 dollars in food and beverages. This was our third time staying. We will be back but just some things that slightly annoyed me.
Always have a great stay at chelsea
-ice cold rooms due to broken windows -stains on carpet and blankets -the halls reeked of marijuana -left hotel and checked into the Taj Mahal because it was so disgusting
Friendly staff, clean hotel the room was great, had a very comfortable bed.
The rooms next to us were very noisy.
i was there for the weekend, and when i asked for a couple of minutes to check out on sunday they said ok, 20 minutes, even if the hotel was half empty. then at check out they didn't had luggage room! i was suppose to walk the rest of the day carrying my bag? yes. They told me that the hotel closes on sundays at 3 pm. That's why. Overall, if i ever return to AC i will consider to stay here again.
We did not get the room we paid for because it was supposedly "booked". The staff was rude and did not try in any way to accommodate us. The room was outdated, walls had holes in them.
Good location. Facility need repair. Rooms are ok. Comfortable beds. Unprofessional staff. Horrible costumer service. I will never come back.
Casino and and a bar that stays open late. How the fuknu dont have a bar open late at night.
Front desk agent should be more friendly and not act like he hates his life
