Pros:The one employee there who was trying to man the desk and clean rooms was very nice and tried to help us. She was simply overwhelmed.
Cons:We arrived at about 9 pm to find a sign at the desk telling us to call this number if we need anything....because the desk clerk was cleaning a room. We called and she quickly came to the desk. We went up to our room to settle in. Immediately we could see hair on the bathroom floor and thought maybe it had not been cleaned. When we pulled the bed covers back there was hair on the bed and what appeared to be small blood smears on the sheet. It looked like the bed covers had just been pulled up and tucked in instead of being changed. We packed back up and went down. The clerk was very apologetic and offered to change the sheets. We decided to leave and she cancelled our reservation.
Pros:Continental breakfast, cleanliness of room, lobby is presentable, accessible from the freeway.
Cons:Pool is dirty (algae), complained about a cable installer that came at 7:00am and using hammer and other tool that was creating a lot of noise and the lady Wednesday morning didn't do anything nor seemed interested with my lack of sleep. Parking area was pretty dark.

Pros:All of the remodeling was very well done. The lobby, breakfast room, and guest rooms resembled higher priced hotels. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was very clean. I liked being able to get complimentary coffee, ice water, and tea in the lobby anytime I wanted it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons:The breakfast was so-so. The waffles are always good. Everything else is microwaved so I understand that it's not restaurant quality food but if I have to pick something, that would be it. Still, it's part of the package which saves having to spend money on breakfast.
Pros:One of the safer properties in the area.
Cons:Rude staff. Andrea at the front desk threatened to carge me $250 for smoking in the room because she said the maids could smell smoke when walking by. I don't smoke and let her know that they could check the room. She called at checkout time every day to argue about me still being there. I've never had a hotel eployee be so rude and argumentative about checking out 5 minutes late. Also, defective heater in my room and temperatures outside were near freezing. I reported it and they looked at it but didn't fix it or offer me another room.
