The car from Avis was fantastic, no issues until we dropped it off. The person who checked us out was extremely rude and decided to charge us $250 for additional cleaning fees for a small amount of sand that got tracked in on the floor mats. This is ridiculous since they are vacuuming the car upon return anyway. I travel quite regularly and will NOT use AVIS again.

Rep was cursing someone out on personal phone in front of us, he didn’t know if he had a car and then said he didn’t know what condition the car was in. Car was very dirty inside, gas was on empty so had to fill it up, returned it and they tried to charge me for half a tank of gas even tho I filled it up. Then said I should have taken a picture.

Computer systems were slow or something so the guy running the desk says. There was one guy working the entire line. He was multitasking so he was great but really needed more people working. Took over half an hour to get thru 4 rentals. My rental took 3 minutes to so I’m not sure what the other people’s situation was but I paid extra because I figured Avis was better. Could have paid 2/3 less and gone with Payless for probably the same wait time.

Gas tank was only 3/4 full. Took some negotiating in Naples when we dropped off. Credit wasn’t issued, had to call…

I had reserved a full sized sedan like a Camry however, the told me that they only have an extra large SUV or a jeep wrangler rubicon. The representative then said I can either take what he is offering or cancel the reservation. I wanted a comfortable and relaxing drive instead i had an extra large stressful drive......

Getting from terminal C to terminal A is a long shlep and includes walking with your suitcase and bags outside for relatively long time which is not comfortable especially in a cold weather.

They charged me for a reservation that was paid before. Definitely not a good company.
