The vehicle that was chosen online was not the vehicle they had available. The windshield wipers were dry rotted and the A/C didn’t cool not cool properly. Also I was able to book the reservation using my debit card, but was told a credit card had to be used upon arrival

Perhaps a quick run down of all the controls and options on this particular car would have been helpful. I struggled with figuring out how to use the cruise control etc.

They didn’t have our car type. But they did have a car. Probably should have offered a difference fare for downgrade

Made a reservation, showed up, and there were no cars available. Desperately needed a car to drive home because our flight got canceled. Had to pay for an Uber to this location for the rental car for absolutely no reason. Wasted over $50 because Avis said there was a car available for us. Employees were so horrible and rude that I left sobbing. Will NEVER try to use Avis again.

I had a confirmation through Kayak but Avis did not have a car for me and wouldn’t have one until evening. They struggled to find me in the system. I rented through Turo instead
