The car was old lots of miles. I returned the auto 2 days early never received a refund., also my deposit has not been refunded.

No one spoke English at the Avis Rio de Janeiro location (out of 4 people, who were at the counter). You had to have made a reservation at least 1 day in advance. I had to cancel my reservation and use a different rental company.

The rental process was super easy. We didn't have to wait long, and the car was parked right outside the terminal. The car we rented was clean and worked without issues.

I had to wait over 30 minutes in line .There was 1 staff for priority and 1 for regular.Perhaps they could have more staff for regular checking in.The outside staff was very kind and helpful.My only complaint is long wait in line.

The car was great, but the process to pick it up was terrible. I waiting in line at the Boston airport Avis rental counter for 1 hour and 15 minutes to get checked out.

Pickup was crowded. Car we requested was not available. Was looking for a 4 door Mazda or similar. We were offered an electric car which would not have worked so we were given a 2 door mustang. The car was beautiful but we needed trunk space and we were unable to put anyone else in the backseat and Ubers most of the time.

Worst car rental experience ever!! Getting the car was over a two hour wait..horrible. Then after they assigned us a car when we got to it someone else had also been given that car and were already in it so back we went to get another car. When Avis asked for a rating and I explained what happened, absolutely no compensation was offered , just a “we’re sorry”. Sometimes that’s just not enough.
