Pros:I was pretty disappointed with the bad customer service I received and the filthy car Avis provided. The car I rented was beat up. There were a ton of scratches and dents everywhere. The interior had staines and smelled like cigarettes. Worst of all, I was on crutches when I initially picked the vehicle up and the Avis employee would not assist me with the walk round/inspection. As a disabled Air Force veteran, I still live by the code of Integrity first, Service before self and Excellence in all I do so when I'm paying for your services I expect nothing less. Avis doesn't care about their customers or reputation otherwise my experience would've been a lot better. I will be sure to share my experience with my organization (Fort Sam Houston military installation) so that we don't make the mistake of wasting tax dollars on businesses like Avis.

Cons:I went on line to find the best deal for my buck. Wrong ! I needed a 12 passage van fir my trip to Colorado. I thought I had found the deal through kayak so I booked it. When I went to pick up my van I was not given the price I was promised. The owner Mr. Lebo told me he was not going to honor kayak. I had to call kayak. Which I did. It fell on deaf ear. Never again will I shop at avis or kayak. Suggestions call a week before to your rental reservation to make sure you are going to get the deal you were promised. The world is taking advantage of us thru the Internet. Beware !!!! LET NOT LET US BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. WE ARE SMARTER !!!WE NEED TO EXPOSE THEM BY PUTTING THEM ON BLAST!!!!!

Cons:The biggest issue were the brakes were in poor condition and squeaked the entire trip. The washer fluid was empty! And at pick up the car was filthy inside.

Pros:Loved the customer service (in person and on the phones). The rental rate was fantastic. The EZ tag (toll tag) was present and explained very competently. Returning the car was painless. The gentlemen (Jimmy) even remembered us and asked about our trip. I would rent from Avis again.

Pros:Representative takes you right to the car you are renting
Cons:Pick up did not have enough staff to service all the waiting customers to pick up their vehicles. Had to wait in a line of about 18 customers to get my vehicle which was about a 1 hour wait.
